Chapter 18: Logan's wishes
"Well go on with it" The headmaster said as he looked directly at Logan who looked back at him.
"I wish for any amount of crystal you can provide me" Logan asked the headmaster.
The headmaster raised an eyebrow "He already knows about the value of crystals at his age but what does he want to use I for, weapons or something else" The headmaster was lost in thought for a few seconds but smiled and nodded
He wrote something on a piece of paper and waited for Logan to continue.
Logan noticing, he was waiting for him continued "For my second wish, I wish the contestants Layla and Leo are allowed to pass the exam"
The instructor stood up in fury and started walking towards Logan. "Who do you think you are trying to mess with the exam"
None of the other teachers intervened and left the instructor to make a ruckus it almost seemed like they agreed with him but there was one person who was smiling and that was the headmaster and the old man.
Logan looked up to see a man who looked oddly familiar "I was allowed to make any wish I want that could be answered by the military and they can clearly answer this wish so I don't see the problem, old man"
"Old" The instructor said visibly annoyed he raised his hand up directly at Logan but he felt someone hold his hand and overwhelming weight forced his hand down.
He looked up to see the headmaster.
"Logan I will grant all your wishes but just know you said two people so that's two wishes" The headmaster said smiling as he removed his hand from the instructor's hand.
"I understand" Logan said calmly but deep down he was freaking out.
"Sh*t, I wanted to use that last wish for something like I don't know maybe something like tell them to look into my family data or something like that dammit it all, they owe me big time."
"The pass mark consider it already done as for the crystal we can only get you two d rank crystals delivered when your moved into your dorm."
This news made Logan smile as he walked off back to the assembly, he noticed know everyone was awake but they were way less in number than before but he did notice out of all the people there Silvia, Leo and Layla were part which made him smile as he walked over to them.
"I didn't even know it was an illusion, there must have been an error which made me pass" Leo said quietly to Logan smiling.
Logan just smiled back nodding but he noticed Silvia doubtful gaze.
"I knew it was fake yet I wanted to…. I wanted to stay… they were alive" Layla muttered as she stayed there crouched down crying.
The three turned to her but only one went to comfort her, this was of course Leo.
"Are you alright" Leo asked as he crouched down to her.
"Really are you alright can't you see she's crying am starting to have second thoughts about letting you pass maybe" Logan thought as he looked at the scene happening in front of him.
Layla looked up at Leo as he extended his hand she stood up and cleaned her tears "I don't need help don't think I need someone to save am not a princess in distress"
"But I was just thinking maybe we could be friends?" Leo asked after being shut down embarrassingly.
"I don't need friends and I certainly don't need one as annoying as you" Layla answered getting annoyed of Leo's behavior.
Tears started to form in Leo's eyes as he went to stay behind his sister.
"Hey brat" Silvia said angrily as she left her brother and walked of to Layla staying in front of her making the difference in height clear as day and night.
"Who you calling a brat giraffe" Layla snapped back
Before the conversation could continue Lucian came into the room with his usual smile.
"Now that that's taking care of, I want to say congratulations for you all standing here have passed and have granted entrance to Eden high military school"
"But that doesn't mean you will last long." Lucian stated chuckling to himself why the others student where left to fill what will happen next with their imagination. "But there has been one exception…."
"shit is he going to snitch? He wouldn't, would he?" Logan said to himself his legs already shaking.
"Due to her excellent performance and the age difference the student Silvia will be promoted to the higher institute of Eden high"
"That basta-… did he just Silvia" Logan turned his head to Silvia and so did the rest f the students and after a while sounds of CLAPPING was heard as the students began to CLAP and Silvia just smiled cockily.
"Wait didn't ii get first place" Logan thought as he looked towards Lucian who just gave him a wink.
"You will be departing after the dorm arrangements" Lucian stated smiling. "Speaking of dorm arrangements, I will be announcing them now"
The list was a short mostly due to how small the students had shrank, they were now about forty in number from the previous 200 or so, Most were paired in twos mostly boy and boy and girl and girl.
"Leo and Crain will be paired together and since Logan you really want to be a knight I shining amour so bad you and Layla will be paired together" Lucian gave another wink to Logan.
Leo held Logan's hand eyes already filling with tears "M… My si… sister … left and… know w-w-w-we weren't even put together" Lucian said crying as mucus dropped from his nose.
"Clingy much" Logan thought when a voice suddenly interrupted.
"Sir I respectfully don't think I can agree with your decision of putting a boy and girl together" The girl known as Daisy said as she walked up to the front
"I should have know it would be a girl" Logan thought as he watched Daisy.
