Note- I am making some changes in the next couple of chapters, removing the fantasy language with actual dialogues over MC can understand.

All right, let's see what we're working with here. I calmed down my mind and finally decided to look around. My vision had slowly begun to unblur, too, at least enough to see what was happening around me.
Holding me in her arms was a woman covered in blood and ash. She was dressed in obsidian armor and had a somewhat perplexed look on her face.
That made sense. I could even empathize with the woman. If I had seen a baby laughing the moment he came out of his mother's womb, I would have been weirded out, too.
Despite my weird reactions, the woman stepped forward and carefully wrapped me inside a white piece of cloth. She then kneeled down and handed me to a woman lying on the broken stone floor.
This woman with long black hair was also dressed in armor of a similar color, though hers was covered in silver-colored robes. She seemed exhausted, panting as if about to pass out. Yet somehow, her demeanor felt like that of a superior being—someone whose existence, despite being injured and exhausted, still remained far above those of normal people.
She must be my mother. I thought to myself, my eyes gradually focusing on her and the blood and ash covering her body. It wasn't the most hygienic of environments to deliver a child, but what could I do?

Automated Multilingual Translator Online
A transparent blue screen suddenly appeared in front of my eyes startling me a bit.
This was just the notification I had been expecting. Nexus was the standard system issued to every Diver. Even if it had barely integrated itself into this world, it was still able to give me a language translator.
I had a feeling this thing was going to be extremely helpful.
Mentally dismissing the screen I began looking around, my surroundings were far from what one would expect of a hospital. It seemed like I was in a large white tent. Several people dressed in uniforms were rushing around the tent, assisting a woman sitting beside my mother's bed.
Even though I couldn't understand the language they were speaking, I could still understand what they were saying.
Despite being a tent, this thing is farther away from what one would use for camping. No, this place was too large and a bit too lavish.
My thoughts were interrupted as a large man entered the tent. He was wearing a fancy silver-colored armor that perfectly contrasted with his long silver hair, tied up behind his head.
What's curious was how everyone else in the room reacted, all at once, every single maid and nurses bowed their head in the man's directions.
"At ease." The man spoke something in a casual tone causing everyone to raise their head and return to what they were doing.
The man himself paused for a second and slowly began walking in our direction. He scrutinized me in my mother's arms and sat down on the bed, gently hugging her and then slowly taking me in his arms, gazing down at me with his raven-black eyes that seemed to contain the void itself.
Was this my father? I thought to myself, looking at the large man, staring right back into his eyes. It was hard to explain, but for some reason I could sense this connection between us.
"He has the face of a warrior."
My father spoke, showing a slight smile on his face.
That was a nice thing to say. For some reason, I was beginning to like my new father.
The father-son bonding moment was interrupted by my new mother lying at our side.
"You should test if he has it." My mother spoke. For some reason, her voice didn't seem as exhausted as a person who had just given birth.
"Test him? Right now? He was born only moments ago." My new father spoke in a somewhat questioning tone.
"His hair isn't silver like yours, I fear he might not have it."
I didn't know what they were talking about, but it seemed important. Even my father became quiet for a second before addressing a maid."Go to Lord Jules and fetch the pearl."
The maid nodded and rushed out of the tent, returning back after a while with a small wooden box in her arms. She walked towards us, bowed her head, and gently handed the box to my father.
My father took the box and opened it, revealing what looked like a rainbow-colored pearl.
"Everyone outside, do not enter until you are called." This time, the female knight from before spoke in an authoritative tone, causing the maids and nurses to leave the tent one by one.
Now, only four people remained inside the tent. Me, my new father, my new mother, and the female knight.
Nodding to my mother, Father took out a dagger from his side and slashed his thumb. A slow stream of blood emerged out of the wound, which he then placed on the rainbow pearl.
Just what were these people doing? I was thoroughly confused by now. Was this some ritual they did with newborns in this world? Having too little information and no idea, I opted to watch instead.
Done with dipping the pearl in his blood, Father turned to me with the dagger in his hand; he took out my tiny hand from under the wraps.
Wait, he wasn't going to do what I thought he was going to do, right? Stabbing a newborn, what kind of maniac were these people?
Seeing that Mother wasn't doing anything to stop him, I tried to move my hand away but was unfortunately unable to evade his large, strong hands.
Seeing my efforts at protesting, my father let out a small chuckle before lightly stabbing my hand with the tip of the dagger.
A sharp pain reverberated through my hand as a drop of blood escaped out of my body. I honestly wanted to scream but held myself, choosing to instead go with a light whimper. I had no idea what this drop of blood was for, so it was best not to irritate these giants before I had the full information. However, my gaze did turn a bit resentful.
Ha Ha Ha Ha.
Perhaps it was my vengeful gaze or perhaps it was how I had only let out a small whimper, my father let out a huge laugh.
"Didn't I say he looks like a warrior. Look at him, glaring at me as if I am his mortal enemy."
He grinned, looking at me. In front of us, the female knight, too, nodded with a small smile on her face; even my mother's cold expression turned a bit proud. Perhaps he had expected me to cry after all.
By now, the pearl in the box had absorbed all his blood and was letting out an iridescent flow of light.
Handing me to my mother's arms, Father took the knife with my blood on it and dipped it over the pearl. At the same time, everyone in the room sucked in a deep breath; even I was hooked; whatever this test was, it seemed very important.
