Chapter 2 - .How to die, how to transmigrate.

Abrupt confusion, a little back pain, thinking, solving, and ending it there.

That's the process of what happened after Summit woke up with a jolt.

But right now, he was standing in the middle of a medium sized room, still with some back pain, and thought back on his process.

What a mindset.

Waking up immediately, Summit's mind was whirling with confusion and pain. However, it was soon subsided as he looked around himself.

He was in a dull room, a very dull room at that.

Nothing was colorful, the walls were painted gray and some of the places it was even peeling off, light brown boxes stacked everywhere and particles of dust floated easily in the cool air the room was filled with.

A brown frame of a mirror was hidden in a corner, far from Summit.

Now, the sun was setting, casting pale orange light into the room, at least making it more colorful and lively.

Even as his back aches, Summit had his hand under his chin and was thinking, thinking with eyes closed about what had happened.

I died a unfair death, he first stated, then, at the next moment I'm here.

At first, Summit ofcourse thought that he was somehow saved and was in the Medicine Hive, but then he realized that it was too full and dirty to be the place.

Plus, the Medic Star, Xav, isn't screaming and yelling at people in the background, so, therefore it can't be the Medicine Hive.

Xav isn't actually on good terms with Summit, it wouldn't be a surprise if Summit was left in the care of Kial, the Medicine Star's apprentice.

She's nice, yea, but she can really pick up on Xav's personality if she really lost it.

Anyways, enough of the Medicine Hive, it's not that good anyways. Dani is always there.

So, Summit finally opened his eyes, stared at the wooden doors in front of him, and then slowly scanned the room again. Whoever the original owner was, they really must've hated colors.

As a Peafowl- wait,

Now that Summit has thought about it..

Moving in a smooth motion, Summit swiftly, quite clumsyly, reached for the mirror and turned that thing around.

He was, woah, Huge!

The mirror wasn't exactly as big as him, or, well, his new body, but after a daze of guessing what's happening he finally crouched.

Hazel brown hair that was due too long, soft facial features that really made this human really kind-looking, and thick eyebrows that hovered over long black eyelashes.

Dark skin with lightly colored hands was what this human horbered. Pretty.

This human was unbearably gorgeous.

And Summit knew it was Gar- Reg- REBR- TRANSMIGRATE? Yes, transmigration.

But there was one strange thing, why's her eyelashes not the same color as her hair?

Seon Creatures always have those, right from birth. It wasn't like they aren't unique, but they found out real quickly that albino humans are the closest to them.

After checking out himself, Summit became aware of the sky turning dusky red with orange streaks adding a additional light to the white clouds.

Warm light fluttered into the dusty room, the particles showing lightly in the beam.

Now the place was partly colorful, and Summit enjoyed that at least a little bit.

Standing up straight, he examined that the human infact was tall, which was supposed to be obvious went he'd thought huge.

Big hands, healthy body, a little trained. Seems like this humans liked exercising daily.

It wasn't a weakness to Summit, who had to lift heavy things either with people or by himself since young, but if it meant track? Yea, no.

Wings were a thing to Peafowl, even if to wasn't really used often to fly.

Running can be a yes, but it's always for slow delivery, so wings were in use for the Peafowl Seon Creatures.

Regardless of that, this is where at point he was at now, and after rethinking everything that happened, not knowing how he was able to keep calm when he had a possibility that he was murdered, and that he was transmigrated to somewhere unknown but with humans, he immediately thought about the woods that was behind him.

Tall green trees were making a great shadow, casted like a shard of the nightsky when it was still getting dark.

Undergrowth crowded the ground, but a dirt path he'd might've missed if it wasn't for these eyes led right into the trees, supposedly shallowed by darkness.

This was really reminding him of a book.. it was called 'Adventures of Lolo.' It wasn't good, but it did start with a path leading into a forest.

Wait, no, sorry for underestimating it. It was trash.

But he really transmigrated, into a different world. Well, so he thinks.

Anyways, there was one more thing he really forgot to mention,

There's a party, Summit turned his head slightly, just enough to look out the window, and stared quietly at a glade in the forest.

Decorative lights, only milky yellow shone hiddenly as the sun was dipping into the forest below.

The now lime green leaves had a soft orange-red light laced along, changing it's color lightly.

Flexing his human hands, Summit really expected a much bigger reaction out of himself, but it didn't really happen. Why be disappointed? By the looks of this man, he could frolick out of everything, much less not harbor any strong reactions from anything.

Anyways, was this a new species of human? Most definitely, of course. Raising his eyebrows higher, Summit took another look at the human he's apparently in now.

No type of human Summit has ever seen got this type of cheerful expression that can change in the matter of seconds if he'd just relaxed his face. That makes no sense.

*****

No, you really can't be satisfied with anything. In fact, THIS HUMAN was REALLY dark.

Yea, 'fuck' that, whatever 'fuck' means anyways, nobody would walk through the night and not panic when they only see two stray eyes in the dark.

"When I mean dark, I mean you can't see your own skin," when Summit had walked outside, the world was completely and unhingedly different. The trees that were usually so tall were like something 'average,' as a Seon Creature that was born a giant would've said.

The night quickly came, the moon hanging in the sky with a march of stars skittering by.

Summit must've gotten too use to his own, actual, familiar body,- (Well, he was BORN with THAT body,) because when the darkness swallowed the sky and shook its stars around, he was instantly trying to use the incredible hearing ability every peafowl should have, and he forgot that he was now human.

Worst part yet, there was no other light source other than the moon that did precisely, utterly nothing to help Summit with this trash hearing of a human.

Being honest, Summit thought they were better than this. No wonder that woman died so quickly to Blue Jay Seon Creatures like she got no eyes to see their BRIGHT blue wings in the trees.

The old Peafowl was even better than this.

Ah, his eyes adjusted real quickly, that's good.

Finally, the trees weren't some illusions everyone had as a child, the flowy leaves and branches weren't your average horrific komorebi shading that bangs on your walls like someone is in your walls, and the ferns and bushes weren't faces.

"Now I can see," Summit sighed with relief, "I should've listen in school when they were rambling about owls, but it was so boring I fell asleep. The jokes that came right after killed me."

He reached the glade. And with this, Summit could tell that the human he's in was actually, actually huge.

*****

Big lights hung on black strings and was everywhere, twined in tree branches, spiraling on metal rods, and laid down on tables.

Mimi watched as people danced, laughed and cheered. She was happy, everyone was happy, but there seems to be someone missing.

Her best friend, Beo. Where was Beo? That man was huge, more bigger than some of the people here. Well, heck, he was probably the largest in the city.

Walking over to Holly, the girl who literally has hawk eyes, Mimi tapped on her shoulder and said, "Holly, how are you?"

Holly, with her hair tied up in a bun and sparkling pink plastic flowers interlaced within it, looked over to her as if she was expecting Mimi.

"Get to the point, Mimi. You never come to me for anything good, so what is it? Your sister, Jaki? Your-"

"Beo," Mimi interrupted hurriedly. The last time Mimi let Holly continue her rambling, she'd found out that Holly had more information on her than anyone else, except her family of course.

"Beo?" Holly sounded genuinely confused, then her bloodshot eyes widen with recognition. "Ah, the large man? Him? What's wrong with him? Didn't he go back to his apartment or something?"

Back to his apartment? Mimi should've gotten some warning or something, like he could've told Mimi about him going- No, he's honestly too dense for that.

Then waiting will have to do, she thought, now thinking that it wasn't a big deal. But that was quite strange, even if he was too dense for that-

At first she thought it was a animal in the trees, but the eyes were two different colors, so it couldn't- no, had to be-

Her large bestfriend climbed down from the trees and instantly walked into the hanging lights.

Yea, it was Beo.
