-Haruka POV-
"Ne, onii-chan. Do you seriously don't have any romantic feelings towards Levi?" Hanabi asked me. I turned my head and looked at her with shock. Why does everyone keep asking me this?
"And why are you asking me that now?" I said that with a serious face.
"Are you seriously asking me that right now, onii-chan?" She answered my question with a question of her own.
"You're right. I'm asking you this right now. Why does everyone keep asking me the same thing? Aiden, and now, you." I said that with an annoyed voice. I didn't mean to, actually.
"Haa, onii-chan. Seriously. I guess you didn't realise it yourself. You've been too obvious, and I guess that's why even Aiden would ask you that." Hanabi said it while sighing. Obvious? What is it that she said that was obvious?
"What do you mean by that?" I asked her, confused.
"Seriously, onii-chan. Sometimes you're just like Levi. You guys just cannot use that smart brain of yours properly when it comes to this." Hanabi replied with a sigh.
"Well, maybe I'm too stupid for this kind of thing, so why don't you just tell me now?" I said that while rolling my eyes. I cannot wait anymore.
"Mattaku. You rushed towards him when he got hurt, you treated his wound even though you said you didn't want to, you asked him if he's okay, saying that you don't care but actually you care about him, you didn't push him away when he helped you with the games earlier, you even let him take a shower in your room when there's still a lot of room available, and Aiden told me that you cooked seafood twice for him even though you don't even like seafood." Hanabi stated everything, and that made me realise I was asking myself. Is it that obvious? And I didn't even know she was keeping her eyes on us earlier in the game.
"That doesn't mean I have any special feelings towards him." I tried to deny what she said. That's right, the feelings I have towards him are not that I love him. But what is it then?
"Yet you're still trying to deny it. Okay, onii-chan. I don't know what feelings you have towards Levi, but I'm sure you don't hate Levi anymore, and you're starting to open your heart for him, right? Well, I don't have the right to say this, but maybe you're just not sure with your own feelings just yet. But if you end up falling in love with Levi, I'll gladly support both of you. I know he's the right person for you." Hanabi said that with a sincere smile, as if she's really confident about it.
"Here you are, Haruka. What are you guys doing here?" Levi suddenly appeared. He just finished taking a shower considering his wet hair. Didn't he dry his hair first?
"Ah, just siblings talking, haha. Btw, the clothes look a bit fit on you." Hanabi said it made me look at Levi. She's right.
"Haha. I guess you're right. Haruka lent his clothes to me since I didn't bring one." Levi said it while laughing.
"That's the biggest one I've got since I just moved. And why didn't you dry your hair first?" I asked while looking at Levi.
"Ah, right. I came to ask you where the hair dryer is actually." Levi replied with a grin.
"Onii-chan, you should prepare that before you leave. By the way, Levi, why don't you stay the night here tonight? We're going to watch a movie after dinner." Hanabi said it out of nowhere. Is this her house or mine?
"I would love to, but I need permission from the owner of the house. Haha." He said that while looking at me, as if he's asking me for permission.
"Why are you looking at me like that? You can stay the night here. It's going to be late anyway once we finish the movie. So, you should sleep here. I'll wash your clothes and get them dry by tomorrow." I said it without looking at him, but I know he is smiling right now.
"Alright, it's all set then. You should go dry your hair, Levi. Dinner's going to be ready soon." Hanabi said that and then left us both here.
"Does she always act like that?" Levi suddenly asked as soon as Hanabi left us.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked him that, raising my eyebrow.
"You know, sometimes she uses honorifics with someone older than her, but sometimes she doesn't. Like with Aiden, Harry, and me, she doesn't use any honorifics, straight away with our first name. But she called your cousin Oliver, onii-chan." He asked, which made me more curious.
"Why are you interested in knowing that?" I asked him with an annoyed tone.
"Hmm? Why are you talking like that? Are you perhaps jealous right now?" He asked me, trying to tease me.
"Who said I'm jealous? I'm just asking you because I wanted to know." I denied his words. But wait, am I jealous right now? Really, with my own sister?
"I'm asking because she called Aiden by his first name as soon as she saw her today. I thought he called me without any honorifics because she doesn't like me. Well, I wanted to be a good brother-in-law, you see." He said that with a mischievous smile.
"Stop that nonsense. Hanabi used to call someone with honorifics when she respected someone and also when she talked with someone she met for the first time. You could say before she really gets to know someone, she's going to use honorifics or by calling their last name first." I explained that to him, but before I could finish, he cut me off.
"Then, are you saying she didn't respect me? That's why she calls me by my first name just like that?" Levi asked with a frown.
"That's not what I mean. Let me finish talking first, will you?" I said that to him with a glare, and he just grinned.
"It's not respect, actually, but it's more like she looks up to that person. Oliver, for example. She used to look up to Oliver as a doctor, so that's why. And if she used to call you by your first name without any honorifics, that's because she thinks of you as a close person to her and someone she's actually comfortable with. So, it doesn't mean she doesn't like you. After all, you both did talk a lot together, right? Especially about me, her beloved brother." I said that while rolling my eyes.
"That's good then. I'm glad I'm on the positive side. What about you? How do you see me?" He asked me with a grin.
"I don't have an answer for that kind of question. Come. I'll give you the hair dryer." I said that and walked first towards my room.
"I'm kidding, haha. Okay, let me ask you another question. Say, Haruka. Did you think about it?" He asked while walking. Huh? What is he talking about?
"About what?" I asked him in confusion.
"Seriously, you forgot about that already? About the resort face icon. You're going to do that, right? Please. I need to discuss this with Lucas again before the final presentation this Monday." Levi said that with a persuasive voice of his. I don't know why, but it seems like I couldn't refuse him like I used to this time.
"On one condition, no one should know about this until it's released. And I would like the shoot to involve only the photographer and the necessary staff only." I said that, indicating I agree to be the face icon.
"Sure, I'll do what you want, but you'll have to shoot with the model chosen to be on the advertisement video on that day too since his schedule is a bit tight. I'm not sure he knows about you or not actually. But I'll try my best to not let you two cross each other. Are you okay with that?" He asked that with concern. He really wants me to be the face icon, but at the same time he's actually concerned about me.
"Who's the model?" I asked him.
"Alderic Daniel Chabernaud, a French-American model. He's the rising star these days. Well, I do not know much about him since Lucas was the one who picked him, so I just agreed when I read his achievements." Levi explained, and I just nodded. Alderic? I think I heard about him before.
"Well, okay then. But just this once. I don't want to get involved in something like this again in the future. Here's the hair dryer. Come to the dining room once you're done. We'll be having dinner together." I said that, handing the dryer to him, and then left the room. I shouldn't be there alone with him for now. I've been holding myself from looking at him since earlier. Honestly, he looks handsome with his hair like that.
- 15 minutes later-
I am setting up the table for dinner. We'll be having the pasta cooked by Aiden tonight and also the dessert made by me and Levi. It's been more than 15 minutes now, does his hair not dry yet? While putting the fork and spoon on each plate, I keep looking at the stairs.
"Why do you keep looking at the stairs? Are you waiting for me?" A voice whispered in my ear made me startled. I turned around to look at the voice's owner. It's Levi.
"You're startling me. And who said I was waiting for you?" I said that with a glare and continued putting the cutlery on the plate.
"Then, why do you keep looking at the stairs? Well, I used the elevator if you're thinking about that." He said that, ignoring what I said earlier. Right, I forgot that this penthouse has an elevator.
"I didn't ask you that, so you don't have to tell me." I said that with an uninterested voice.
"Right, you didn't ask. But I know what you're thinking." He said that with a grin.
"Levi, if you don't have anything to do, I suggest you go call Hanabi and the others for dinner." I said that, giving him an order.
"Are you seriously ordering your boss right now?" He asked me while raising his eyebrows.
"We're outside work, so you're not my boss right now." I said that while pushing him away from me.
"Right, we're outside work. It made me remember the first time I touched you. You told me I couldn't touch you because we were at work. So, can I now?"
