Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: Is It Really Just a Photo?

At this time, Elizabeth Olsen was still relatively unknown, far less famous than her two older sisters. Her sisters were among Hollywood's first "internet celebrities." As children, they were so cute that they starred in a popular TV series at just a few months old and quickly rose to fame. Afterward, they became highly sought-after, much like Dakota Fanning, constantly receiving offers.

However, their focus remained on television, and while they did star in a few films, none were particularly outstanding. Nonetheless, they—or perhaps their parents—were marketing geniuses. They were packaged as brilliant young girls with sharp business minds, founding their own production company at just nine years old, which allowed them to start producing low-budget TV shows and music videos. Additionally, they were styled as fashion icons with distinct fashion brands, making them commercial successes despite their modest stardom.

As they grew older, however, their looks and acting skills didn't improve much. Eventually, they shifted their focus to business and fashion, giving up on acting in movies and TV shows after 2010. This is likely why Wayne didn't immediately recognize them.

Elizabeth Olsen, on the other hand, despite her privileged background and wealthy sisters' support, was determined to break into the film industry, and she wasn't shy about it. Eventually, she became globally famous as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, surpassing her sisters in fame.

After a few pleasantries and getting Jessica's autograph and a photo, the Olsen twins revealed their real purpose. "Wayne, my sister and I are heading to Switzerland to shoot our new music video. Can we invite you to be the male lead?"

Mary-Kate chimed in, "I know you and Jessica are still filming *The Bourne Identity*. We won't take up much of your time."

Both sisters gazed at Wayne with big, expectant eyes, admiration and affection gleaming in them.

Clearly, this wasn't just about shooting a music video—they were hoping to strengthen their ties and take advantage of his connections in the film industry.

But Wayne had seen through this kind of thing too many times recently, and on top of that, the sisters' grown-up looks didn't match his aesthetic preferences. So, he felt no temptation.

Of course, rejecting them outright would be too harsh, so he smiled politely and said, "I'd have to ask the director. Movies are serious business, and I need to get the director's approval."

Hearing this, Mary-Kate and Ashley looked a bit disappointed but maintained their smiles and exchanged phone numbers with Wayne.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Olsen, who had remained in the background, looked as excited and starstruck as ever.

For a moment, even Wayne couldn't tell whether she was genuinely a fan or just putting on a good act.

But as her sisters were about to leave, Elizabeth secretly slipped Wayne a note with her phone number on it, making him chuckle to himself.

Without much hesitation, Wayne accepted the note. He wouldn't mind helping Elizabeth if the opportunity arose—after all, considering her path in his previous life, she was somewhat of a pitiful figure. She had to wait until her sisters completely gave up on the entertainment industry before she could emerge, and by then, she was already 22, a relatively late start for a female actor.

Hannah, standing nearby, noticed Wayne's lingering gaze on Elizabeth and teased him softly, "You're ignoring such beautiful twin sisters but are interested in that little girl?"

Wayne shrugged, not denying it, and responded with a smile, "What's wrong with that? If Elizabeth really is my fan, isn't it normal for me to care about her? And if she was acting just now, then her acting skills make her even more interesting, don't they? As for her sisters, honestly, I don't find them all that attractive."

"Strange taste," Hannah muttered, rolling her eyes.

But she immediately realized that if Wayne's taste was off, then what did that make her?

Mia and Jessica exchanged amused glances and couldn't help but laugh.

Meanwhile, possibly having seen the Olsen sisters' approach, an Asian mother and daughter, who had been whispering to each other in a corner, stood up and approached Wayne.

"Hello, Mr. Anderson. My daughter, Liu Qianqian, is a fan of yours. Could you take a photo with her?"

It was unusual for a fan to have their mother make the request. Typically, the fan would ask for the autograph or photo themselves unless they were particularly shy—or had ulterior motives, like the Olsen sisters earlier.

One look at the mother-daughter pair, and Wayne was instantly surprised. He guessed they belonged to the latter group. After all, this was none other than Liu Yuxin and Liu Xiaoli, well-known in his previous life. They were notorious for their ambitions in Hollywood, having long been enchanted by its allure.

"My name is Liu Xiaoli, and I'm a dancer. Here's my business card," Liu Xiaoli said, handing over a pre-prepared card to Wayne.

This confirmed Wayne's suspicions. If this were just a regular fan interaction, there'd be no need to exchange business cards.

Of course, Liu Xiaoli wasn't asking for much—just an opportunity to make an impression on Wayne. If he ever needed an Asian actress of this age, he might remember their brief encounter and contact them.

Wayne's mind raced with various thoughts, but outwardly, he maintained a warm and gracious smile, feigning surprise as he complimented, "A dancer? No wonder you have such an elegant and artistic presence! Of course, we can take a picture. And this is your daughter? She's inherited both your beauty and grace. I'm sure she'll be a big star someday."

Having grown accustomed to the haughty attitudes and racism prevalent in America, neither mother nor daughter expected such a compliment from a rising star and production company owner. Liu Qianqian, who aspired to be a globally famous actress, beamed with joy at Wayne's words.
