After running all the time since Ryu woke up, he was really hungry. Luckily there was more than enough preamy in this forest.
With his sharp eyes he saw a boar a few hundreds meters away in the bushes.
Ryu slowly sneaked his way to the wild boar, but when he was just one hundred meters away from it suddenly ran away in fear before Ryu could make his move.
Then he saw a big bird sitting on the ground.
Ryu was even more cautious this time and sneaked soundless to the bird, which is really difficult for a dragon wirh his big claws and his full body scales.
This time right before Ryu could come closer to the big bird, the bird suddenly flapped its wings in fear and even crashed in a tree by flying away. Allthrough crashing in tree the bird still flapped his wings as if he would die when he stopped flying away.
It was very strage, why could all the beasts notice him so easy and flee? Did they notice his blood lust, was that the reason why they kept noticing him and decided to quickly get away?
Ryu decided to hunt a bigger beast, a beast which was a natural hunter.
After walking half a hour through the forest he saw a lion. A lion should be on top of the food chain, atleast it was like that in his previous world.
When he came near to the lion, he saw that the beast was actually trembling in fear and did not know what he should do.
Rrrrooooaaarrrr!!
Suddenly the lion let out a loud lion roar and ran towards Ryu with a determined look that he would kill him at all cost.
Ryu was stunned from this intimidating roar, but it wasn't a big thing for him a dragon. Not even a second passed and he swept away the dizziness he frlt from the roar.
The lion kept running at him. Just before he could attack him, Ryu made his move. Ryu slashed his sharp claw downwards and tried to hit the lion offguard, but te lion swiftly evaded his attack jumped back.
The lion knew that one false move could end his life, this wasn't a toyfight like the one against the demonic wolf. This was a death or life fight fight.
Ryu noticed that the lion was paying close attention to all of his movements.
Ryu knew that the lion would not make any careless attacks and would try to keep distance till his stamina was used up.
After all this running and searching for prey Ryu was very tired he just wanted to eat something and then search for a safe place to sleep.
Ryu decided to do an all or nothing move, he took a step forward towards the lion twistet one of his legs on purpose. He fell on all of his legs totally defenseless and unable to move.
As expected the lion did not miss this opening and quickly attacked Ryu's right side.
The lion striked down on Ryu with all his strengh, but when his claws slashed across Ryu's body nothing happend, not even a single scratch was on his scales.
Out of shock the lion wanted to retreat, but was allready to late for him. Ryu used his tail and hit the lion on his backhead.
The lion lost all his senses and collapsed on the ground.
Without waitingany second Ryu moved and bit through the lions neck. In one bite the head fell down from his shoulders and hit the ground.

Ryu quickly armte the whole lion and did not even levt over any bone.

This time it felt different then by eating the wolf, it was as if he wasn't getting any stronger and the taste was also not the best.
After eating he walked near a big rock with a big cave in it.
Ryu did not feel any presens or threat, so he entered the cave and looked for a good place to sleep.
Most of the cave was dry and there were some sticks lying around on the floor.
Ryu wasn't too picky where he should sleep, he was just tired, so he lie down in one of the corners with his back to the wall and fell asleep.
