The morning was serene as Natsumi and I walked hand in hand toward her school. The streets were alive with the quiet hum of everyday life: shopkeepers setting up their stalls, children running ahead of their parents, and the faint rustle of leaves swaying in the breeze. Natsumi skipped beside me, her small hand warm in mine.
"Onii-chan," she began, her tone curious, "how about buying a vehicle? Like a sports bike or something. You could take me on rides, night outs, and all kinds of adventures!"
I chuckled, glancing down at her bright, eager face. "I'll think about it, Natsumi," I replied, ruffling her hair. "But for now, you just focus on your play. You want to be the best dragon, don't you?"
Her face lit up with excitement as she jumped on her heels. "Yes! I'll be the best dragon ever!"
Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile at her joy. But suddenly, her smile faltered, and she tugged on my hand.
