Jane remained in the hospital with Ella, she took a day off from work to make sure that her best friend was alright because she knew that Ella needed all the support she could muster if she wasn't going to relapse. The fact that she turned to drugs without speaking to Jane first made Jane feel bad but she couldn't make this about her as there was a chance that it had nothing to do with her to begin with.
Jane didn't know what her friend was going through and didn't bother asking because if it was something that Ella wished for her to know, she would have told her.
Jane had no intention of forcing it out of her because there were certain battles one needed to conquer before they could talk about it, this was one of those.
The doctor already informed them that she should be good to go home today.
