Chapter 28 - The Journey ( Part 17 )

"Alya and our other friends, climbed through the Bima route to continue down to the basecamp, Hasan explained everything that happened to them to Mrs. Sugeng"

Mrs. Sugeng shook her head as if it was no longer strange to face such things.

What she could not understand was why these evil figures were still disturbing the climbers and even had the heart to bring her to their world.

Mrs. Sugeng left them and was seen walking towards the forest not far from her shop.

Talking to the intangible wind.

As if discussing something serious in her conversation, with both her hands clenched behind her back.

"Kumaha? Rek didudut balik wae? (How? Do you want to be pulled by force?)"

With an anxious and worried expression, Mrs. Sugeng looked around while still talking seriously.

Then she nodded her head and left saying goodbye to the intangible figure.

Laras was surprised and said:

"It seems like something that happened to us is very serious, even Mrs. Sugeng who lives here is upset and angry"

Because she was curious about what Mrs. Sugeng was doing, Hasan approached Mrs. Sugeng and asked who she was talking to.

"Who is Mrs. Sugeng talking to?"

Mrs. Sugeng continued to walk towards the shop and did not answer Hasan's question.

She stopped at one of the big trees near her shop, sprinkling soil and reciting an unclear mantra.

The soil scattered on the offerings she had provided.

Then she put her hands together as if apologizing and asking for help in front of the big tree.

Suddenly the Miranda Birds flocked towards the tree and chirped very loudly.

Laras and Hasan saw this unusual phenomenon, very strange.

What is the relationship between Mrs. Sugeng and Mount Srinjani and the figure of the guardian on this mountain?

Who did Mrs. Sugeng give the offerings to?

Why did the Miranda Birds seem to hear the mantra that Mrs. Sugeng said?

Who is this Mrs. Sugeng?

All these questions filled their minds.

Miranda birds were seen filling Post 5, they were watching something with their sharp eyes as if they were watching something that was happening.

Mrs. Sugeng was still standing facing the tree with her eyes closed.

Suddenly, the atmosphere at Post 5 became goosebumps, and the leaves swayed; the strong wind was accompanied by a slightly dark sky.

Mrs. Sugeng opened her eyes and looked around the forest as if looking for the figure she was waiting for.

Not far from where she was standing, the sound of feet walking towards her was heard, but the figure did not show its form.

The climbers, who were confused and surprised by this incident, then joined Laras and Hasan.

They began to wonder what happened to Mrs. Sugeng and the arrival of a flock of Miranda Birds.

They noticed Mrs. Sugeng with her unusual behavior.

One of the climbers who saw something strange with Laras and Hasan then began to ask what happened to them, and in the end, it was discovered that the climber could feel invisible things often called indigo.

"Since when have you guys been climbing this mountain? I don't think I saw you during the climbing route?"

"Even though I also climbed via the Sadewa route during the rest I never saw you two," said one of the climbers named Anggun, arousing curiosity and suspicion.

Hasan was embarrassed to hear the question thrown by Anggun and was surprised because the other climbers were paying attention to him.

Then Hasan explained briefly what happened to them.

Hmm.. (Hasan cleared his throat)

Hasan glanced at Laras now and then who was just as surprised as the other climbers' reactions.

"We've been trapped here for almost a month"

Huh?

All the climbers were shocked and did not expect what they had just heard.

So? (Anggun said curiously)

"During our climb, we encountered strange things with various illogical events, and we went through many disturbances during our climb"

"Of our 8 friends, the two of us were the ones who finally got out of that dimension"

"Me, Hasan. And this, Laras"

The climbers who heard Hasan's story showed expressions of disbelief because it had not been proven true.

On the other hand, this was very suspicious for them.

A young couple climbing this big mountain must have bad intentions, their thoughts were directed there.

Laras, who began to understand this condition, began to explain the core of the problem they were experiencing.

"It's not like what you think, at first we were disturbed and led astray on this mountain because one of us went through the prohibition of Mount Srinjani"

Laras felt it was hard to tell this to a stranger she didn't know.

"This happened because one of our friends was pregnant"

Huh….

They were increasingly shocked and began to believe Laras' words.

"No wonder you were disturbed by them, because your actions seemed to provoke them to disturb you"

Laras denied that opinion:

"No, we didn't mean to disturb them, our purpose here was just to relieve our fatigue, to fill our college holidays. We also just found out that one of us was pregnant while climbing this mountain"

"Because she was not honest and didn't even know she was pregnant"

While they were still busy talking.

Mrs. Sugeng approached Hasan and Alya and asked them to continue their journey to the top.

And asked to immediately resolve this chaos.

Hasan, who obeyed Mrs. Sugeng's orders, agreed to her orders and fulfilled all the conditions she asked for.

One of them, scattering the flowers that Mrs. Sugeng gave, do not speak rudely, act politely, say a mantra:

"Aing kadieu lain rek mere tumbal, Aing boga nu kawasa, beda jeung nu maneh sembah (I came here not to give a sacrifice, I have a God, different from you inhabitants of this mountain who worship snakes and genies)"

After Hasan and Laras completed the ritual requested by Mrs. Sugeng, they were asked to immediately go back down without lingering there.
