Synopsis
Five years ago, a mysterious capsule from space crashed into the Pacific Ocean in the dead of night, leaving few witnesses to the event. When researchers and authorities arrived at the impact site, they found only the capsule embedded in the ocean floor, with the water appearing to recede inexplicably. The discovery quickly alerted global leaders, and news of an unidentified creature escaping the capsule spread, causing widespread panic. Now, in 2032, the public has largely forgotten about the creature, as it was never recovered. However, I’ve kept a crucial secret: I found it myself.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Unseen Arrival

JULY 18, 2027 (FIVE YEARS AGO...)

In the dead of night, somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean where the water remained undisturbed. A blinding light flashed across the horizon as a capsule came crashing down through the atmosphere, slamming into the water with a thunderous splash. The violent impact caused waves of great sizes to be sent crashing outward.

The nearby Hawaiian Coast Guard Immediately contacted authorities and higher ups promptly making the U.S the first respondents to the crash. But by the time that the first respondents had arrived, the waters had already calmed down. And all that remained was an empty capsule embedded in the ocean floor.

The water seemed to retract from the area of impact, as the researchers cautiously approached the capsule wearing protective gear. They examined the capsule with extreme caution and care, before declaring it to be empty. Traces of a black goo could be found inside. So something must've been inside.

Morning came and news had spread of an unknown creature escaping from a capsule found in the middle of the Pacific. Panic ensued as people became cautious and anxious of the danger the missing creature presented. The news became global as more and more people grew frantic over this case. Government and authorities from around the globe struggle to find the missing creature to ease the panic of the people. But they were never successful.

JULY 18, 2032 (PRESENT DAY...)

ring~ ring~ ring~ ring~

My eyes slowly fluttered open to the sound of my phone chiming. I reached out groggily to turn it off and stared blankly at the empty ceiling as my vision adjusted. I let out a soft yawn, forcing myself to sit up and stretch my arms. After a quick glance around my room, I shuffled to the bathroom.

Standing before the mirror, I splashed cold water on my face and yawned again. "I still have things to do," I muttered, stretching once more before leaving the bathroom. I tidied my bed, adjusting the sheets and pillows, then went through my usual morning routine: making breakfast, washing dishes, showering, preparing for school, getting dressed, and putting on my school shoes.

Locking the door behind me, I headed down the stairs and walked to school. "I'm pretty sure I've done all my homework," I said to myself as I followed my familiar route. As I'm walking I here a strange murmur from around the corner, curiosity got the better of me and I turned to have a peak at what the noise was about. My eye's widened as I say a bunch of high schoolers taunting an elderly woman.

I clenched my fist in frustration, my heart pounding with a mix of anger and disgust. I knew confronting them directly would only lead to humiliation, but the uniforms they wore—identical to mine—meant I'd have to choose a different approach. I decided to deal with them later.

I bit my lip, forcing myself to ignore the situation and continued on my way. Arriving at school with only minutes to spare, I hurried to my classroom and took a seat by the window, keeping an eye on the stream of students below. I watched closely, waiting for the group I had seen earlier.

And there they were. "Excuse me, sir, but may I use the bathroom?" I asked, slipping out of class and rushing down the stairs to gather information. Passing their classroom, I overheard their homeroom teacher calling out their names.

"Ethan, Mason, Noah, and Lucas. Explain to the class why you were late."

As I walked by, I skimmed the class list on the door, matching the names to the faces I had seen earlier. With their full names now clear—Ethan Reynolds, Mason Thompson, Noah Parker, and Lucas Garcia—I headed back to my own classroom.

"What took you so long?" Mr. Smith asked as I returned.

I bowed my head slightly and offered a polite smile. "Mr. Smith, I apologize. There was quite a queue in the bathroom this morning."

Mr. Smith eyed me skeptically before letting out a resigned sigh. "Get inside. We've started an activity, and you need to catch up."

Nodding, I smiled gratefully and took my seat. Pulling out my pen and notebook, I began working on the assignment. "Ethan Reynolds, Mason Thompson, Noah Parker, and Lucas Garcia..." I murmured their names to myself, determined to remember them for later

Kringgggg~

Time flew by as the final classes of the day wrapped up. I stretched my arms, feeling the fatigue from sitting all day. But before I could get too comfortable, I made my move. I headed down to Class 9-B and waited in the stairway for one of the four to exit the classroom. I waited patiently until I saw Mason heading my way. "Perfect…" I muttered.

Just as Mason turned the corner, I deliberately bumped into him, causing a loud thud as we both fell to the floor.

"Watch where you're going, kid," he commanded, his tone authoritative. I couldn't help but laugh inside. Everything was going according to plan. "I-I'm sorry… I was in a hurry and forgot my wallet in my classroom…" I noticed his eyes light up at the mention of a wallet. What a dog. We both got up slowly, and he gave me a sinister grin.

"Hey boys! This kid says he's got money for us!" Mason called out to his friends before grabbing me by the collar and lifting me off the ground. His grip tightened around my collar, making it hard to breathe.

"Take us to your classroom, and I'll let you off if you hand over your wallet," he demanded, throwing me to the ground. I tried to catch my breath, but before I could, he kicked me hard, sending me rolling across the floor. I clutched the spot where he kicked me, letting out a cry. "Y-yes… Please, I'll hand it over! Just don't hurt me anymore!" I pleaded, and he smirked, nodding to his pals.

"Lead the way, kid~"

I stood up, head lowered in panic, and quickly ran up the stairs back to my classroom, with the four of them following closely behind. I led them into the classroom and rushed to the teacher's desk to grab my wallet. "H-here you go…" I tossed the wallet towards Mason, but he failed to catch it.

"Tch- Pick it up…"

He glared at me as I quickly got down on my knees to pick up the wallet from the cold floor. Once again, he kicked me in the face, sending me crashing into a bunch of tables and chairs. He looked down at me as he and his friends burst into laughter.

"Why are you so light? Haha… Hey, wanna be our personal punching bag?~"

I remained silent as he taunted and laughed at me. Soon enough, he demanded an answer. He grabbed me by the hair and forced me to look at him. I didn't answer him as I had nothing to say, I simply stared at him blankly.

"Hey… Answer me, kid!"

I continued to ignore him, staring him in the eye before mouthing a series of words. Mason didn't like being played for a fool, so he immediately snapped. He pulled his arm back, ready to punch.

That's when I knew that I had to cut the act already. I've dragged this on for way to long. I managed to catch his fist as I looked up to him before giving a playful smirk.

"Who the hell do you think I a!-"

"Come Forth: Ark."

A black smoke began to escape my palm and before he could finish his sentence, a massive crystal-like stalagmite erupted from the ground, piercing his chest and lifting his body off the floor. Mason screamed in agony and fear as blood dripped down the crystal. His friends stared in horror as I slowly got up and turned to face them.

"WHO THE HEL-"

Just like Mason, I didn't let Ethan finish his sentence. With a swift flick of my wrist, his head was severed clean off. Lucas and Noah were left speechless, shivering in place as I walked closer with a smile.

"Scared?~" I asked, while Mason's screams of pain continued to fade. I began towards the two leaning forward with a teasing grin on my face.

"Who are you?.." Noah asked, trembling in fear. I backed off slightly, looking over at Lucas. "Bang!" I exclaimed, and Lucas exploded into tiny pieces of flesh. Turning my attention back to Noah, I tilted my head with a smile. "Me? That's for you to find out~" I said, pointing my finger at his head.

"NO! NO! PLEASE! I-I'm sorry don't kill me!" Noah began to cry and plead mercy, oh how the great have fallen. I raise my hand seemingly listening to Noah's cries. "Thank you! T-Thank you so much! I won't forget about this!" Noah bowed his head down as a sign of gratitude before a stalagmite pierced his skull through his mouth.

"Haha… That was fun~ Right, Ark?" A small octopus emerged from my shadow, flying in circles around me, seemingly pleased. "You did a good job~ Now you can clean up the bodies as promised~" I patted the small creature on its soft head. It quickly floated around the room, devouring the lifeless bodies and pieces of flesh.

"Do you think we went a little bit over board?" I asked my little companion as he gleefully bounced around the air as it continued happily devour the dead bodies of bullies. I began to fix the tables and chairs to avoid further suspicion, and after our little clean up I picked up my bag and wallet. "Let's go home Ark!" I exclaimed as the little octopus followed me before jumping into my shadow. But as I stepped out of the classroom a guest.

"Claude Daenerys K. Orpheus. You're under arrest for multiple murders."

A woman's voice called out to me from behind as I could feel the gun's muzzle being pressed on the back of my head.
