Five years ago, a mysterious capsule from space crashed into the Pacific Ocean in the dead of night, leaving few witnesses to the event. When researchers and authorities arrived at the impact site, they found only the capsule embedded in the ocean floor, with the water appearing to recede inexplicably.

The discovery quickly alerted global leaders, and news of an unidentified creature escaping the capsule spread, causing widespread panic.
