It was a rainy day, I felt like killing myself after escaping from my abusive parents and starving for 5 days...
That's when I met a strange woman who was mysterious and wore a long coat holding an umbrella in the rain for me, Just the sight of her made me feel uneasy.
"Do you wish to live and strive for life?" Said the mysterious woman
"I don't have a meaning and a reason to live for in this hell" sean replied in a low tone and fading voice
"Come with me maybe I can give you a reason to live for, my name is Tsalisa."
And from that day onwards I began to throw away my feeling for dying and forgot about worrying about what happened in my past and began to live and work with Tsalisa.
The one life offer I got in that one rainy day changed my entire life and went on in a unexpected path.
We would hunt down monsters which transform themselves as humans which pretend to be humans at day and show their true self at night and they infect other humans too, so we are on a mission to kill every one of them.
SFX *Rain noises and footsteps on water*
"What's your name?" Tsalisa asks Sean as they walk in the rain together
"Sean" replied hesitantly
"So Sean, why were you lying down in a rain looking like a homeless child don't you have a home?"
"My parents are abusive I feel like I'd be dead if I had stayed there for few more days instead of escaping here." said Sean in a disappointing tone.
"Do you want to know why they are like that?" she questioned Sean suddenly and was really an unexpected question for him.
"Why?"
"Because they are not humans." Said Tsalisa while being clam.
Sean couldn't believe what he just heard from a random stranger he just met and got to know of.
"What do you even mean by saying they are not humans I saw them with my own eyes and grew up with them from the moment I was born." Sean questioned in anger.
"They were infected." she replies coldly.
"So are they sick or something so they are mentally unstable?"
"Take me to home with you tonight you will see." Said Tsalisa.
"But both of them are alcoholics and fight like a maniac." Sean was really disappointed and was embarrassed about this pathetic behaviour of his parents while he described about them to Tsalisa
"Do not worry just leave everything to me and watch what happens tonight, but first let's get you some new clothes and food to eat." Said Tsalisa in a confident voice.
We then went to a restaurant after she bought me some new clothes and as the night falls, we approached my home and could hear some screaming sounds right while standing at the door.
"Looks like something is happening inside why is my mom screaming?" Sean questioned in fear
"Here have this candy and watch the show unfold before your eyes."
As we entered the home, we could now hear more of the screams with some splatter noises and I was so afraid I felt like I could pass out any moment because the atmosphere and the lighting were so eerie and I was breathing and sweating so much, but she had no fear and pulled out a shotgun!? Soon enough we saw a human looking shadow approach us from the kitchen I began to panic and try to run away.
"Hey where are you planning to run off to kid stay here there is a surprise for you now stay behind me and watch this." Tsalisa demands Sean a daring task in a intense situation.
As I open my eyes, I saw a really distorted human like thing with bloodthirst approach us while screaming.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING, let us run away come on!" As Sean saw the cursed thing he screamed in fear.
But that woman was really crazy she ran and kicked its head towards the wall bashing its head and ramming a shotgun into its mouth and blasting the skull of that thing...
"Are you crazy!? Who would charge towards a creature like that, but... why was that inside my home? What happened to the people here?" Sean questioned Tsalisa in a confused manner.
"They are infected by a virus which mutates people into what you just saw now they slowly go insane and multiply at night because they can be caught during daytime easily because their skin is very reactive if they try to transform under the sun, their cells get destroyed." She answered
"I see..., wait I recognize those clothes they are my father's, so he was infected."
"Let's check inside." said Tsalisa
As I slowly enter the kitchen, I see a headless body lying on the floor with an arm missing soon I realize that was my mother who is lying dead and cold on the floor who was the only one that had taken care of me and protected me from my father who is now lying dead too and unconsciously tears flow out of my eyes, later Tsalisa suddenly put her hand inside the dead body and took out the heart of the monster and took me away from the place to avoid suspicion from police.
Confused Sean then asks Tsalisa, "Why did you take the infected and dead heart? And why are we running away from police didn't you help them by killing those monsters and preventing the spread of disease?"
".... hmm, it still comes under killing they like to capture them alive for test purposes and I can sell this heart for money." Said Tsalisa in a emotionless tone
Sean was not surprised but he did know the consequences of the things that unfolded infront of him, "I see so we will be seen as criminals..."
Even though I just saw my own parents get killed and lie dead Infront of my eyes I did not shed even a single drop of tear. As we walkthrough an alleyway in the midnight I suddenly felt like my head was heavy and it felt hard to breathe, I was slowly losing my consciousness and started to fall down but Tsalisa caught me.
"Looks like it took a toll on your body lets go to 'home' and rest there shall we". Giggled Tsalisa and carried Sean to her home.
