"What exactly is the plan?" Caleb asked from the back of the room. His voice was calm, but his words carried a challenge. "Because if you're asking us to go up against Marcus and Liam, we need more than hope and speeches."
Ethan nodded, stepping closer to the center of the barn. "I've already scouted the northern border. That's where Liam's rogues are stationed. They're thin there, probably because they think we're too divided to strike first. If we hit them there, we can weaken their hold."
"And Marcus?" Caleb pressed.
Ethan hesitated for a brief moment before answering. "Marcus is the real threat. He's the one pulling the strings. Once we deal with Liam's forces, we'll focus on drawing Marcus out. He won't be able to resist showing his face if he thinks I'm vulnerable."
"Risky," Sophie muttered, her tone skeptical. "You're betting on him taking the bait."
