The man's eyes grew wide with a mixture of anger and surprise as he glared at me like he wanted me dead. Seeing the look that was plastered across his face, I knew he wished I was buried six feet underground.
"Did you just call the police?!" He yelled, his loud voice piercing through the air as he continued to struggle and push against Xavier's tight hold on him but to no avail. "Are you out of your fucking mind? You can't do that! You can't call the police on me!" He shouted once again, his voice cracking towards the end of the sentence as rage coursed through his body.
His body was shaking with anger and his loud voice had caught the attention of some neighbours nearby who came out to see what was going on. More people started to appear on the streets, standing by their front porch, watching us with curious eyes and a look of anticipation hung on their faces.
