My eyes widened and I felt my heart skip a beat even though I had expected this.
"...What..?" I stammered, feeling like there was a lump stuck in my throat. "It's out?" I asked and I found myself sitting up straighter this time as I waited for his response to come through.
"Mhmm… Open the door, I'm outside."
Xavier turned to face me, curiosity swirling in the depths of his eyes. "Aurelia, what is going on?" He asked, but I barely spared him another glance as I simply jumped off the bed and rushed towards the front door, letting Bryce in without wasting any more time.
He finally understood what was happening when his eyes landed on Bryce who walked in carrying his laptop in his arm. "The results… they are out?"
A smirk morphed itself onto Bryce's lips as he nodded.
