after seeing the result of what i can do with my abilities i was getting different ideas how i could utilize it and grow it in coming future one of the greatest uses of this ability i believed was that it could be used an armor which will provide an extra layer of security
now i have to think about the utilization of my ability on my current level so that i can survive in the academy as i was wondering about it my focus went towards the knife which i had brought from the kitchen i measured the weight of spoon and the knife they were nearly of the same weight with knife being a little heavier
as i tried to use my ability on knife it started to float around i carefully provided it mana so that i could incrrease it's speed or stop it instantaneously as i watched the knife float around in the room i felt a little sense of security i have decided that i will carry some knifes with me so that i could use them in case of an emergency or for general combat as well how much knife can i control with my power at this piont of time is still to be tested
Now as i was done with my experiment on small objects i moved towards bigger objects first i tried my hands on a chair kept in my room and i was abble to move it freely but the strain i felt while moving the chair was much more than moving the knife though i was tired i decided to do one last experiment on the one person sized bed to see if i could move it
As i tried moving the bed with my power i felt a little weak and after that i colapsed on the ground "what happened? " As i try to get up i could feel pain in my entire body and then i remember that this phenomenun is Mana depletion it is state when a person depletes all of their mana causing them to grow extremly weak for a short period of time till there body regains the mana back from the surrounding
"i didn't even do that much and yet this body allready run out of mana how little mana does this kid have" i wondered having this little mana felt like this kid has never trained before his entire life again an disadvantage of being an extra but there is are ways to increase the mana reserve one of the most main stream ways is consuming potion and use of artificats which cleraly for wealthy or you will have to very lucky to stumble upon one and i am pretty sure niether am i rich nor lucky
but there is other method as well but not so mainstream which is expending all your mana reserve and letting it fill continously it acts like the human stomach like for example if you eat more food than that your stomach can hold it expands a little so it can hold the food next time. same happens to mana as well when a person expends all his mana reserve the next time when the mana is refiled it is more than the previous amount
it is a slow process but over a long period time there is exponential growth in your mana reserve as you continue to practice this method but there are reason why this method is not so popular
it is not easy to deplete all of mana reserve for most pepole because a little amount of mana is always left behind its like how humans can not exert their full force because their mind prevents them from doing so because it will hurt them same way the mind of people in this world prevent them doing so in case of mana as mana is life energy so not every can do it
" but i am an exception as my mind or memories does not belong to this world so in my mind there is no such safety mechanisim which at times will be dangerous but in this case it will help me to increase my mana reserve "
for the next three days i practiced by ability over and over to increase my familiarity with it and also increased my mana reserve and the day to start my academy life came i was very nervous that what was going to happen how my presence was going to affect the story but somewhere in my mind i was exited as well i was going to meet the character who i have admired so much whom i liked so much who was an inspiration to me
So looks like i forgot to mention every student who is acepted in the academy get an appartment to live in the academy city obiously you could buy your own massion as well if you had the money that is and clearly i didn't have any of it
as i rushed towards the academy so that i wasn't late on my first day as i ran past the secenery i have read about in the novel i couldn't but have the thought the academy city was really beautifull i reached the academy 10 minutes earlier before the mentioned time there were nearly two thousand people standing in the open auditorium of the biggest academy i have ever seen in both my two lives
and then i saw a boy red haired,red eyes,fair skin a smile plastered on his face standing between the crowd of so many people but even then you could identifiy that he was different then them he stood out amongst all the people present here not because of his beauty not because of his power but because of the pure aura he was radiating he was standing there the choosen one the child of the world and His name is Nel Stanfer the charcter i admired the most
