Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Truth or Dare

Meanwhile, Grace entered a certain room with a gentle knock. "Honey, can we talk?"

Raven, who was applying makeup, looked at her mother and smiled. "Of course... What is it, Mom?"

Grace stood behind Raven, gazing at her reflection in the mirror. She smiled "Wow, you look stunning... Any occasion, darling?" she asked out of curiosity.

Raven giggled. "Well... I have a date tonight, Mom!" She replied, grinning.

Grace's expression turned serious. "Oh, if that's the case... May I know who's the lucky guy?"

At this, Raven rolled her eyes. "It's just a friendly date, Mom!"

Grace's gaze narrowed slightly. "Well... Darling, I think it's high time you also find someone and settle down..." She said, her face laced with concern.

Raven turned to face Grace, her expression serious. "It's not my fault someone out there is still acting like a little boy!"

Grace's expression turned even more serious. "Actually... We shouldn't have forced this alliance in the first place, honey."

Raven became frustrated and shoved Grace away. "Whatever, I don't care... I'm going to marry Lucian anyway!"

"Honey, Lucian is getting married to another girl soon...?" Grace said firmly, but her voice dropped to a low tone.

Raven raised her eyebrows, unsure of what to make of Grace's words. "Lucian is getting married to another girl?!"

Grace nodded calmly. "Yes... Honey, that's true."

Raven's face turned ugly. "Fake! That can't be! We... We... I should be his wife." She couldn't swallow the fact that Lucian ditched her for another woman.

Grace wrapped her arms around Raven, enveloping her in a warm hug. "Silly... Don't ruin your date for this..."

Raven shoved her away. "I don't care about the stupid date! How dare he ditch me?! Who does he think he is?"

Grace, who had been pushed, kept her balance. She watched as Raven ruined her hair, throwing everything to the ground. She sighed heavily before leaving.

Raven's eyes lit up, and she reached for a bottle of whiskey placed on the table. Her mind, blasted with the news of Lucian marrying someone else.

Of course, she had high hopes. How could he betray her?

Meanwhile, the Olivares mansion was lively tonight. Everyone gathered around, excited to play the game. Alex spoke, "No choosing truth thrice in a row, failure to follow the truth and dare question, you have to take 3 shots!"

"Yayyy! Let's begin then!" everyone cheered.

Celyn was standing next to Emma. The game began, and Alex spun the bottle. It eventually stopped, pointing towards Emma, opposite her was Nora Smith, Zack's younger sister.

Emma grinned mischievously at Nora. "Truth or dare, Nora?" she asked.

"Um... Dare" Nora replied with a smile.

"Ohhhh!" the crowd laughed.

"Alright... Do you have a crush on anyone in this room?" Emma asked, grinning.

Nora smiled weirdly, feeling a little uncomfortable with everyone staring at her. She secretly stole a glance at Max, who was also present.

"Yes..." She said, her gaze dropping.

Emma laughed. "Ahh, I knew it!" She turned to Max and whispered, "You heard that?" She muttered playfully.

Max, a bit muscular with jet-black hair, chuckled but didn't bother to look at Nora.

Next up, Emma spun the bottle, and it stopped at Sophia, opposite her was Melissa, a heiress of a rich family. Sophia rolled her eyes, as she and Melissa had beef.

"Truth or dare?" She asked, her tone detached.

Melissa, on the other end, kept a straight face. It was obvious the two girls didn't like each other at all. She replied, "Truth"

Sophia's eyes lit up. "Melissa... Rumors had it that... you... are a slut and sleep around with different men." She smirked. "Is that true?"

Everyone's eyes lit up. "What?!" Curious about what Melissa would say.

Melissa's face burned with fury, offended by Sophia's accusations. Emma narrowed her gaze. "Sophia... What's all this?"

Sophia shrugged. "It's just a game... Nothing personal!"

Melissa, with gritted teeth, said, "No... That's not true!" Her voice cold.

Sophia laughed, a smile of victory.

Celyn glanced between Sophia and Melissa, sensing the tension between them. Suddenly, she locked eyes with Lucian again, and her heart skipped a beat. Something about him felt off, Celyn wondered why he looked so furious. Did she do something wrong? She shifted her gaze away, trying to avoid eye contact with him.

The game continued, with Sophia spinning the bottle once more. This time, it landed on Max, opposite was Coral. "Truth or dare!" Max asked, his face straight.

Coral's voice was gentle and sweet. "Dare..."

The crowd erupted into excited whispers. "Ohhhh!!!"

Max chuckled, flipping his hair backwards. "I dare you... Tell us the most embarrassing moment of your life"

Coral raised her eyebrows. "Oh calm on!"

Max smirked devilishly. "Tell us already!"

Celyn watched with curiosity, What her embarrassing moment could be

"Well... Um... I think there's one time I sang 'I Will Always Love You' in front of the whole school,... Let's just say I won't be winning any Grammys anytime soon" Coral laughed, her face flushing with embarrassment.

The crowd burst into laughter, and Coral smiled weirdly

Max chuckled, grinning at Coral. "Don't worry, Coral, you're still a rockstar in our eyes"

Celyn smiled at Coral's good humor. But her gaze drifted back to Lucian, who was still watching her with an intense gaze.

Max spun the bottle, and this time, it pointed straight towards Mellisa, opposite was Celyn.

Mellisa, approached Celyn with a mischievous grin. "Truth or dare, Celyn?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Celyn hesitated for a moment before responding, "Dare."

Lucian, who had been watching the exchange from afar, raised an eyebrow.

Mellisa's grin widened. "I dare you to kiss the person you're most attracted to in this room."

The room fell silent, with everyone's eyes fixed on Celyn. Emma looked at her with a mixture of surprise and curiosity.

As Mellisa dared Celyn to kiss the person she was most attracted to, Celyn's eyes met Lucian's, but she quickly looked away.

"I'll take the shots instead," Celyn said, trying to sound nonchalant.

But before she could reach for the shots, Lucian appeared in front of her, his gaze, intimidating making her heart skip a beat.

Without a word, Lucian gently brushed his lips against Celyn's, sending chills through her entire body. The room fell silent, everyone's eyes fixed on the unexpected couple.

Emma's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly covered her mouth to surpass a giggle. but she had never seen Lucian display affection in public.

Mellisa's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Well, well, well! Look who's getting cozy!" she exclaimed.

Celyn's mind was a mess, trying to process what had just happened. Why had Lucian kissed her? And why did she feel like she was melting into his lips?

Lucian's eyes never left Celyn's face as he whispered, "You're not taking those shots, Celyn. Not tonight, not ever."

The tension between Celyn and Lucian increased, leaving everyone in the room wondering what had just happened.

Celyn stared at Lucian, her eyes flashing with disbelief. On the other hand, Lucian was struggling to understand his own actions. Why had he kissed Celyn?

Under the dim light, the smell of alcohol and soft music filled the room, but the tension increased.

Max broke the awkward silence

" What?!....Big brother and...you two are together?!" He asked, his tone full of excitement

Mellisa, still reeling from the drama, decided to tease Celyn. " That ....was unexpected...Celyn!"

Celyn's gaze eventually dropped, she took a step away from Lucian, and excused herself. Lucian raised his eyebrows, then followed her behind

Emma watched as those two left, not sure whether to be happy or sad.

Mellisa's expression turned serious," um ... Guys... Should we continue?"

Everyone exchanged glances, not sure if they should continue

"Of course...!" Sophia muttered

As the game resumed, Emma's gaze was fixed on the direction celyn and her Brother ran to.

Meanwhile, Celyn ran to the restroom, tears welling up in her eyes, she stood in front of the mirror, her reflection staring back at her.

Celyn shook her head,

"No.. This is a dream!" She muttered, trying to erase what had just happened from her mind. This wasn't right! Lucian betrayed her!

"Celyn... are you okay?"

Celyn's eyes widened as she heard Lucian's voice on the other side of the door.

Lucian's voice was low and husky, " Open the door. I need to know that you're alright."

Celyn took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She hesitated for a moment, then slowly made her way to the door and opened it.

Lucian glanced at her with concern, "Celyn, listen to me" he spoke, his voice soft

Celyn shook her head, dropping her gaze

" No... Lucian,... I'm done" she whispered

Lucian raised his eyebrows,
