"Bundle her up." The big man with a menacing scar that ran down his jaw ordered his subordinates again. The men were five in number.
Luna gasped in shock. She didn't understand what was going. First, it was a dog who wasn't really a dog, and then it was some unknown men wanting to bundle her up.
"Wh... What is this about?" Luna stuttered and staggered backwards. Four of the men circled her while the big man who appeared to be their leader just kept glaring at her. It was as if his eyes could pin her down to a spot.
"You are going to find out. Soon enough!" The big man told her with a sinister smirk.
"I need to flee." Luna thought quickly and her eyes darted between the big man and her surroundings.
The men stalked her like a prey, probably enjoying the horrified look on her face.
"I should at least try. I can't be taken simply like a chicken." Luna thought and wanted to take off. Two of the men grabbed her immediately and she screamed.
"Let's go of me." She yelled, trying desperately to wriggle her way out of their hold. The big man laughed in mockery at her futile attempt to escape.

"Why am I here and who are you people?" Luna asked no one in particular. The only person in sight had entered the place to grab something and was already leaving without saying a word to her. She had been taken to where she didn't know.
And they had tied her hands together and her legs were also tied.
She was kept in an empty room which looked more like a store with no window except for the tiny door at the entrance. She was thrown onto the ground, mercilessly.
She had even hurt her left palm in the process. "Oh, son of a bitch!" She groaned as a part of her palm bled.
"What do I do? Where is this stinky place?" She wondered and tears threatened to fall from her eyes. She was so worked up.
Despite her situation, a part of her mind couldn't help but think of Kai, the owner of the mysterious voice who had said he wasn't a dog.
"Does he know about this or he has a kind of connection with them?" Luna contemplated, staring into the empty space. "I need to get out of here." She grunted as she started trying to untie her hands.
She was struggling so much but she wasn't making any success. Suddenly, the tiny door swung opened and Luna raised up her head to look at the person who had entered.
She gasped at what she saw--- it was the dog who had ran off earlier.
"Kai?" Luna muttered in disbelief. Then the dog stepped further into the room and looked at her.
"Are you okay?" She heard the masculine voice that had been talking to her and she knew it was indeed Kai.
She couldn't find her voice due to the surprise so she just nodded at the dog in response. The dog went straight to start untying her hands, using his teeth.
When he was done with that, he untied her legs too. "Let's get out of here. Can you run fast?" The voice asked Luna.
"What?" Luna asked, bewildered. "We are getting out of here." The voice said laying emphasis on the word 'we'. Realization hit Luna and she swallowed hard.
She picked up herself from the ground and looked at the entrance of the room. "How about the men?" Luna inquired, referring to her kidnappers.
"Don't worry about them. I have taken care of them. But we need to run as fast as we can." The voice informed her and the dog started walking to the entrance.
"Wait, how did you..." Luna wanted to start probing into how he got there and all, but the voice interrupted her. "Let's get out of here first." The voice replied to her and the dog bolted out of the room. Luna followed suit.

"I deserve an explanation. What exactly is going on?" Luna asked, looking intently at the dog.
They had finally gotten back to Luna's house, safely. "I could remember how you took off, after telling me that the people were after you.
So why did they take me? Tell me, do you have connections with those people? How did you know the hideout?" Luna rushed out the questions, breathlessly.
She wanted answers."I don't know them. I thought they were after me because I actually have enemies.
But when I ran away and didn't get pursued, I realized they weren't there for me but for you." The voice explained to Luna.
"I went back to the scene and discovered you had been taken so I went after your scent. That was how I discovered the location." He added gently.
That revelation was shocking to Luna. She had been a loving and down to earth person so she didn't expect anybody to hate her to the extent of getting her kidnapped.
To the best of her knowledge, she didn't know anyone who would want her to be harmed.
"No, they can't be after me." Luna stated more to herself, shaking her head in disbelief. She narrowed her eyes at the dog and her eyes caught something. Blood. It was seeping from the dog's body onto the ground. Luna gasped.
"You are hurt." Luna said and quickly knelt down before the dog. She reached out to him, trying to inspect his body.
"I think I am okay. This is nothing compared to what I have been through." The voice replied to her, dismissively.
"I heard the men talking about you when I got to the hideout." The voice divulged to her. Luna's ears perked up at that. "What did they say?" She inquired sharply.
"They said ..." The voice was saying but couldn't complete the sentence as the dog suddenly collapsed onto the ground. "No!" Luna screamed in panic.
