"Stay with me." Luna yelled as she tried to get the dog to regain consciousness.
She got up and ran into her bedroom to get the first aid box. She returned to the living room where the dog was lying unconsciously and set down the box, getting to work.
"Kai, are you still in there? Can you hear me?" Luna inquired as she wiped the blood off the dog's body.
There was no response. With fear in her heart, she finished wiping off the blood and saw where he had been injured. She dressed the wound and gave the dog an injection.
Slowly, the dog began to regain consciousness but he couldn't open his eyes yet.
"Thank God!" Luna heaved a sigh of relief. Then she left the dog to rest and went to get herself cleaned up.

It was the following day and she had gone to the police station to report the incident, with her friend, Tessa.
