[ Sweetie lie stays in the house ,
While truth is closed in my mouth..]
Too bored and exhausted, Dana was looking through the window. Seemed like nothing in this world could prevent her from this "adult" stuff. Moreover, these conditions, like wearing masks in order to keep a true truth invisible, are so nauseating . Even there, adolescents are pretty naive about lying, while the older ones will be, the more serious lie could be. It was the way how Dana thought about it.
-Here we are, Dana, your new house .
He extended his hand, pointing to a fairly decent house. While a girl made a misunderstood face . "Oh, OK, teenagers in the process of lying are more accurate than you ,old man..."
-New?...
Soundless street created obvious discomfort for the grandfather. He was trying to make an excuse, but everything that he could do was move a mouse without any words ans sound.
-For you..
A person beside the grandfather came closer and was looking straight at Dana.
-... As a person without any memories, it's new.
Said a driver man with some kind of seriousness in his voice.
"So, i expected that you must have been an innocent. However, i am wrong again.." . She blinked and smiled towards two unpleasant individuals, one of whom was telling a lie, the other one was confirming it.
-Yes, it is logical, by the way.
Grandfather called her inside the house with him, wiping the sweat from his face at the same time. There were many more people than in the car. Maybe the person that was standing beside the gate was a butler or assistant to his master ,since he had such a respect for bowing to grandfather. It was a middle-aged man in smart clothes. Who knows, it could be that he was another marionette or someone more valuable to be a poor piece on the table. It seemed that all Dana's mind put in suspense each person that she would see here, in this freaking house. Even though it looked pretty rich or even too rich. It was clear that Thompson used all his power to "show" how wealthy he was.
Passing through the high gates and the fence hung with greenery . It was classic design pretending that it was a aristocratic territory. Some people's roots of the family was going deeper than the 18th century. But, surprisingly, this old design stops at the gate, because the mansion itself was far away from the medieval style. As Dana raised her green eyes and saw something in front of her very... Rich ? The front view of the house looked really modern. Starting with the main three-story building with panoramic windows and a large balcony on the second floor . Next to the main building, there was another one with a pool on the second floor and a closed car park with an open gate. The car they arrived in was just driving there. At the two opposite sides, there was a place that led to the back side of the house.
-Alright then, show her own room. Granddaughter may be tired of the long trip . Bess , take Dana with you.
Thompson called a middle-aged man to direct her correctly. She guessed about him, because besides the driver man, Bess did not show any emotion towards the girl. That was strange , it could not be that he was not interested in her , due to the fact that his respect for grandfather explained that he might know the truth. It must be. Dana glared at Bess, as if trying to understand his monotonous face. How bad it was, she did not even know how to "read" a face deeply. Because everything that she knew was reading mothers and fathers' thoughts.
-I am Bess Teblur, Mister Bess for you. If something in this house goes wrong, you could tell me.
It was abrupt and unexpected for her. She didn't expect it at all. Mister Bess thought that Dana was interested in his personality. That was why he did so. After a minute, Bess turned round to the big door and went straight. Dana followed him forward, into the perfectly decorated doors...
Step,
Then another one.
Lots of eyes looking at girl with dark curly hair. Their eyes were chasing all her moves and parts of her body. While the heart did not want to stop. Breathing through the whole moral power that she could do, Dana was trying to save her face . Like judges were scanning her appearance, face , eyes, mouse, hands...
Ha-a...
One more look in her direction and she would go crazy. Nothing but people staring at her made the girl's soul want to escape, quickly away from here.
- These people are....wor ...ing ...re
Dana stopped understanding what this person was talking about, who seemed to like the way others looked at her. Presenting that, a little bird with a key on her neck got into a cage . There was no doubt that Dana was a clear example of her parents. They were running all their lives, but at the end, they could not hide a treasure. "Foolish". Paranoia pierced her ears and veins and, like a needle, pierced her body.
-Dana!
Bess put a hand on her shoulder and looked at her eyes:
-I was calling you. What's wrong?
-I-i.. Just too tired... Sorry..
Moving his brown eyes from side to side, he soundlessly led her up the stairs to the third floor, simultaneously saying something to himself and looking at Dana. Bess opened the door to the pretty large room. He said that if she needed something, she could use a special button that had been located next to the light switch. Turning back, he walked out, closing the door behind him.
As nobody but Dana stayed in this room, she fell down to the floor and moved her legs closer to the chest. By making a safe place, trying to calm down and not start to cry .
Closing her eyelids, a familiar room with her parents appeared in front of her. She silently looked at them and thought about what to tell them. How she wanted them to express at least some emotions. They could, but not as bright, but Dana's imagination was not strong enough to make them cry or laugh. However, she could still make them smile and sad. Dana asked parents a question that, unfortunately, she, even in reality could not find an answer:
-Why have you left me there, in life?
Pronouncing these words, she knew that there would not be any answer.
Dana opened her eyes and In front of her was her new "old" room, prepared by her grandfather. A bed with a soft -colored pattern, a table with nothing but a mirror. Neither bad, nor good. So simple, even the house looked much better than that simple room, which did not suit this house...
