► Kigai - (Banes) Are abilities anomalies possess in order to attack someone or defend itself. It also serves as a valuable source of materials, which is why when sold, it is purchased at a high price.

—Types of Banes—

▻ Sujiku - A Kigai formed mainly at the muscles, is mostly used for protecting the user or to deal heavy yet blunt attacks and has the average regeneration speed of any Bane.

▻ Kosshiken - A Kigai formed mainly at the bones, it is the most versatile of them all as it can be hardened through extreme use. It is mostly used for attacking and is weak when it comes to defense and is slow when it comes to regeneration

▻ Ito - A Kigai formed mainly in the veins, it is mostly used for regeneration and speed. It's incredibly strong for attacking yet weak when it comes to defense, and has the fastest regeneration rate of all the Banes.

▻ Shinkei - A Kigai formed mainly in the nervous system, it specializes in manipulation and disguise. Attacking and defending depends on the combat skill of the user and has the second fastest regeneration rate of all Banes.

▻ Sokudo - A Kigai mainly formed in the cardiovascular system, it specializes in speed and lethal attacks. They are incredibly strong when attacking because of their ability to control adrenaline but they have the weakest defense but they make on it for having the second fastest regeneration.

Anomalies - Anonalies feed on human flesh to gain power or to survive; it depends on the anomaly; they can eat real food produced by humans, but at a cost of becoming weaker; rather when eating humans, they grow stronger; they can be distinguished by their altered figure, but some experts are able to conceal these flaws.

Counter Anomaly Units (CAU) - The CAU's job is to terminate or confine harmful anomalies; their weapons are made of a specific material that can only be obtained by combining an anomaly's bane with their weapon to deal any harm to the anomalies.
