Sasaki collapsed on the ground, his lifeless body gazing at Kinji. He started laughing at the boy.
"What a dumbass."
Kinji grinned from ear to ear and turned to face Nara with pride.
"What splendid decision you made Nara, now come to me and I'll tell you where your father is."
Nara stepped over to the dead man and took a brief look at Sasaki's body. She walked to Kinji, who was beaming, she puts her arms at Sasaki's back approaching Kinji with a jaded look.
She tossed Sasaki onto Kinji's foot and demanded his attention while glaring at him fiercely.
"Tell me now, where is he."
"Ah, Naoto... he is known of many names in this country."
He moved across the room, enveloping Sasaki and Nara as he spoke.
"Father, friend, comrade... husband, monster, and traitor. But, one stands up to his many titles."
He stopped as he stood in front of Nara and glared at her fiercely.
"Your father, the hound is a very dangerous man you know that?"
"Cut to the chase, where is he?"
"I too have no idea, Nara."
Nara looked at Kinji in shock as the men in white ignited their Kigai, hurling projectiles at Nara, who deflected several of them with a betrayed look.
"Sasaki, do it!"
Kinji looked down to see the corpse had vanished, and in an instant, Sasaki hacked off Kinji's left shoulder with a maniacal grimace.
"Hah! Who's the dumbass now bitch!"
***
Sasaki crafted a bone sword and carved the words "Stab me." on the handle before tossing it to Nara, looking at her with determination.
Nara picked up the sword and approached Sasaki hesitantly before stabbing him in the back of the skull.
Don't you fail this attempt you bastard...
***
"How are you not dead?! She pierced your brain!"
"Well now, you forgot my ability is made from my bones right?"
He gazed at Kinji with a crazed smile, clutching his neck while a blade pops up Sasaki's forehead. He then headbutts Kinji in between his forehead piercing his skull with the sword sticking out his head.
Sasaki continuously hits his head as the sword pierces it with each attack, laughing manically as Kinji's eyes pop out of his body.
He tossed the upper half into the floor as he looked at the men in white envelopped around the two.
"You're no... fair..."
After uttering those words, Kinji took his final breath.
"What do you expect? It's a street brawl after all, sigh... atleast I don't have to deal with that corpse anymore."
One of the men in the throng approached Sasaki and activated his bone Kigai, creating a gun that fired at Sasaki's temple.
Sasaki, unconcerned, stops the bullet by hardening his skin with his bones as he walks to the man with a maniacal smile, wrapping his bones around his neck while the man dropped his pistol as he struggled to take the collar off his neck. Tiny thorns gently pierced through the man's throat, slowly decapitating him with this way.
When they saw their leader facing a protracted and terrible death, the outraged members lunged at the two with their kigais blitzing directly at the two.
Nara built a basket-like barrier to defend the two from the Shimo members' blows while also deflecting their Kigais by capturing it with Nara's strings to counterattack them.
"Ugh... These guys would just keep repeating this over and over again. Nara, think of a plan!"
Nara sighed and produced twin daggers from her bones, attaching them together with her veins as she spun them in a blitz and lunged for the members, slicing them one by one.
Sasaki looked at Nara perplexed—he never saw a anomaly with two Kigai's before.
"You can do that shit?!"
Sasaki's guard was down as she peered at Nara, chopping and slicing the members gracefully. In a flash, a member blitzed behind Sasaki, hardening his left arm in preparation to strike him.
"Watch out!"
As Sasaki turned to look behind him, a sword flew through the man's skull. Sasaki quickly produced a spiked pole, crushing the man's head.
He lunged toward the crwod with his spiked rod, repeatedly striking the members scattered throughout the crowd, crushing their heads one by one.
While Nara and Sasaki were fighting the gang members, their numbers continued to climb as they became weary from overusing their Kigai.
Sasaki struck his rod into the tall member's skull, but instead of crushing his head, the rod broke into pieces. He then attempts to make another rod out of his bones, but his body prevents him from doing so.
"What the hell..."
In an instant, the man's knuckles connected with Sasaki's face, and he felt the bloodflow from the man's punch circulate rapidly in his body as he flew across the room slamming into a wall, passing out.
With no other options, Nara increases her guard because she is unable to manufacture any more veins or bones from her body.
Shit... This is the end of me....
In the middle of the night, many CAU agents began scanning for anomalies in a specific building in Sumida, Tokyo. In a few moments the agents began talking through the radio transmitter.
"Breach! Located multiple Class 4 - 5 anomalies in a abandoned location near Sumida, sending the coordinates to you now."
"Copy that Damsel this is Breach, I've received the coordinates ready to dispatch Grade 1 Inspectors in the area."
"Breach and Damsel this is Echo, sorry to interrupt but I'm afraid sending multiple Grade 1 Inspectors will cause a disruption to the public over."
"Copy that Echo, What do you plan on doing exactly?"
"Send Julian."
When they heard his name, the transmitter became static for a time, and the room became completely silent.
"Uhm, copy that Echo we'll be contacting Julian in a moment."
A bummed out boy with crimson hair slept in his worn-out bed, his face jammed across the pillow; many cans of beer, rubbish, and junk food littered the gloomy cubic room.
He was wearing a dingy white t-shirt with food stains scattered across it and simultaneously pairing it with some black worn-out jogging pants.
While the boy was snoring, his radio transmitter began buzzing.
"Julian, Julian!"
The static voice irritated the boy's ears as he repeatedly attempted to slam the radio transmitter, which was covered by a sturdy glass.
"Mhmn... Shut... Up..."
"Julian, please have a chance listening to us if you do this request we'll give you one week off and one month's worth of free pizza how does that sound?"
Julian slowly rises up, rubbing his dark red eyes and staring half-heartedly at the broadcast.
"That's... true?"
"Yes yes, I won't lie to you now would I?"
"My... drinks?"
"It will come with drinks too, alright so please just help us. I promise we won't bother you no more after this."
"Yozo... stick... your... word."
"I stick to my word."
"Okay... coordinates... where?"
"You know that abandoned building near Sumida river?"
"Yes."
"It's near the park, so you will just have to walk to there and feel free to take your time."
"Okay... that's... all?"
"Yeah, that's all."
"I'll... go."
Julian went out of his apartment. looking around at the flashing city lights and listening to the deafening sound of engines.
"Can't see."
He walked to the railing and jumped over the rooftop to have a better view of where he needed to go. He looked around once more saw the abandoned building in the distance.
He strolled to the edge of the rooftop and then leaped off, landing in the center of the roadway. Lights flashed squarely at him as the sound of horns grew loud, suddenly huge truck smashed into him going 97 miles per hour.
The driver instantly jumped out of the truck, perplexed as it abruptly stopped moving out of nowhere, only to witness a teenager ducking motionless in the middle of the road, causing a huge dent in the truck.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing there?! You could've died!"
Julian glanced at the man for a time before continuing his trip to the park, limping on his left leg from being hit by the truck. The man confused, checked the front of his truck to witness a large hole in the middle of the truck.
"Hey, kid! What the hell did you do to my truck?!"
Julian ignored the man and continued hobbling to the park. After a few hours of agonizing walking, he arrived at the abandoned building, where he heard chopping and slicing coming from inside.
"This is... the place."
He staggered to the building and paused at the entrance. He glanced at the creepy setting for a long before walking to the back of the building, where he could hear a woman grunting within.
As he moved around the structure, the sound of groaning became more audible, and he came to a halt on the left side of the building, staring at it vaguely and stretching his body.
Julian easily shattered the wall with his lame leg, and the debris from the wall struck a number of Shimo members nearby. After destroying the wall, Nara looked at the scarlet haired boy in confusion.
"Who the hell are you?!"
Julian gazed up and down Nara's body, noting that she was wearing a CAU uniform.
"Give me... your blade."
"I can't produce any more blades."
Julian looked at Nara for a second and sighed as he entered the room, with a jaded face.
What's with this guy, I don't sense anything in him at all...
"Hey, you should get out before you get hurt!"
Nara yelled with a troubled expression on her face, while the Shimo members chuckled at the redheaded lad.
"Listen to the girl kid you don't want to make your mom cry when he see's your handsome face stuffed in a box right?"
The gang members began laughing louder at Julian, who kept a jaded expression. Julian blitzed in front of the Shimo member who had been spewing rubbish before in a flash of an eye.
He gripped his head with his palm and crushed it like a watermelon while he maintained a jaded expression.
The whole crowd was in disbelief as they couldn't believe a person could pull off such an brutal feat.
The child started to perspire and the Shimo member gave him a gloomy expression as he said.
"B-but, you're no anomaly!"
"Yeah... I'm... human."
They all attacked the red-haired man at the same time, drawing attention to him throughout the room. Julian looked at the hole he had made a few minutes earlier, his palm facing him as he swiftly spun around.
"Duck... down."
With Julian's murmured words, Nara instinctively dropped to the ground, forcing herself to do so without thinking.
"What the hell is the kid doing, this isn't some kind of ballet-"
The room filled with blood, turning the boy's white t-shirt scarlet, and in an instant, every single Shimo member was dead, their bodies hacked to pieces by Julian with his dull fingernails.
Nara shivered in terror as she stayed there, kneeling, her white hair gradually turning a pale red tint from the amount of blood that was falling.
"Fear... not."
As he approached Nara and extended his hand, she turned to see Julian's bloody face forming a nonchalant expression as if he considered that as a minor feat for him.
"You're from the CAU?"
Nara gripped his hand and asked him, her expression harsh. After assisting her in standing, Julian gave her a jaded look as he studied her for a while.
"I see... you're... grade 5"
"Y-yeah?"
"Name... is... Julian."
"Nice to meet you...?"
"Yes... I am... CAU."
Nara was confused and slowly getting annoyed from his manner of speaking.
"Look, just tell me what rank you are?
Grade 2? Grade 1?"
"Neither... I am raven."
