Walking back I began to mumble to myself. Things like how stupid the Diamonds are and how annoying it is to walk back to base. The forest was not helping, all those spiky plants were hanging on to my suit.
Not wanting to keep the suit I was wearing I shifted my suit into a jacket and baggy pants.
However, at some point my group will come to get me. They'll probably scan the way home from where I left.
Suddenly I could hear some gems talking. I didn't particularly want to talk to them, so I kept on my straight path.
The trees and bushes began to get thicker and thicker, I had to push more and more. Until it suddenly let up leading to a clearing in the forest.
The clearing just so happened to have three gems who were talking. Two of those gems just so happened to be part of the rebellion, the leader and commander in fact. And the other was the fusion I saw mere moments ago.
Now, I know they are staring at me but if I just walk away without looking at them they might think I'm not real.
"Stop where you are," I heard the Pearl say.
Now, I know one of them called me out by if keep walking away they may think I am fake.
"Can you hear me?" The Pearl said walking towards me, spear in hand.
Now, I know they are walking towards me, but.
No more buts, her hand is on my should.
"Well, hello there!" I say turning around with a smile as the three gems look at me.
"Who are you and why are you here." the Pearl asked pointing her spear at me.
"I must go," I say completely ignoring her, "Thank you for the talk," I say confusing her enough to let me continue walking away.
"Wait," the fusion said, "We - I remember you," the fusion said.
"Well I don't know you, so that's that," I respond shrugging.
"Wait," Rose Quartz said causing me to stop.
The Pearl I could take in a fight, the fusion was formed recently and can't even walk straight, but Rose Quartz is a problem.
"Who are you?" Rose Quartz asked.
"Someone that you probably shouldn't be fighting," I replied trying to sneak away.
"No," the Pearl said pushing her spear closer, "You are coming with us," she said.
"No I am not," I replied getting an odd look from Pearl.
"I know who you are," the Pearl said, "And I know that you here for recon only meaning it's unlikely that you have any weapons," the Pearl said confidently.
"How do you know that?" I asked confused.
"I," the Pearl said worried, "We have our ways," Pearl said.
"Reminder," I say to myself, "Tell Pink Diamond about data breach."
"Well, you won't be able to." the Pearl said, "You're coming with us after all."
"Well," I said to them, "That would be the case if my group wasn't coming here."
"You're bluffing," the Pearl said.
"He's not!" the fusion said, "Sapphire, no, I saw it!" said the fusion.
"Well?" I said to the Pearl and Rose Quartz, "Better get going, you may be able to make it easily but the fusion won't make it so easily," I say pointing to the fusion.
"You don't know that," the fusion said getting up while leaning on a tree.
"You just started fusing not too long ago," I point out, "It's going to be about five days before you can walk straight, unless you un-fuse and talk to each other," I say mumbling at the end.
"How do you know that?" Rose Quartz asked me.
"Times ticking," I say not willing to give away that information.
"Fine, come Pearl we have to help the new member," Rose Quartz said before disappearing into the bushes helping the fusion walk.
A few moments after that the sound of my ships engines could be heard and felt throughout the forest.
The ship then stoped while hovering a few feet off the ground. The door opens revealing Construct holding his hand out.
"Thanks for the pickup," I say grabbing his hand letting him pull me into the ship.
Construct silently nodded before going back to his part of the ship.
"I thought the ship was flying too well," I say heading up to the cockpit seeing Specs flying us back to base, "When did you reform?" I ask her.
"About four hours after they poofed me," Specs said annoyed, "No thanks to you, even Construct helped poof me!" Specs said, "Luckily I had a back up monocle," Specs mumbled fixing the monocle on her one good eye.
"No way," I commented, "Construct's a pacifist he would never," I told her.
"Well he didn't do anything," Specs admitted, "But he could have at least done something to help me!" Specs exclaimed, "Not just sit there,"
"Construct going to do what he does," I say patting Specs on the shoulder, "Just get us back safe ok," I tell her while walking to my seat.
"Yes boss," Specs responded while keeping his monocled eye looking for anything while flying.
"By the way," I said, "Do you want to know what I saw during the event?" I asked Specs gaining her interest.
"What?" she replied.
"A fusion between two different gems," I told her.
As soon as she heard it her face turned to a solemn one. She stopped talking and looked at the windshield not wanting to talk about her, which was understandable.

Arriving at the base I got everybody ready so I could call Pink Diamond and tell her about the possible data breach.
I wouldn't be doing this if the information was just about homeworld as a whole, but information about my team getting out could get them hurt.
Information is a power thing after all.
Throwing the holo-phone up I got into position with everyone else.
"My diamond," I greeted while bowing with my head down along with the rest of my crew.
"Uh, boss?" Smash said.
"What's up?" I ask her wondering what was so what that it needed to be answered in front of a Diamond.
"Look at the screen," Smash then said.
Looking at the screen I noticed that there was no one there. The communicator was set to automatic and answered without any one being there.
From the side of the frame a set of rapidly approaching foot steps could be heard. And just as they got close to coming into frame they slowed down to a normal walk.
A few seconds later Pink Diamond entered into frame trying hard to look elegant. It's not often that you see a Diamond acting like that but weird things do happen.
"What do you need to inform me about," Pink Diamond said in a fancy pants voice.
"I am under suspicion that there is a data breach," I say then remembering the last part, "My Diamond."
"And why do you think this?" Pink Diamond asked me.
"I had a run in with the Pearl of Rose Quartz who knew of my mission," I told the Diamond, "Even though I have not gone into a fight, my Diamond," I finish.
"So you had an encounter with the Crystal Gems," Pink Diamond said, "And you failed in capturing them?" Pink Diamond said shifting the conversation to blaming me.
"At that time, I was the only gem in the area," I explained to Pink Diamond, "Not to mention my job is a not combative one," I try to explain to her.
"Well make sure it doesn't happen again," Pink Diamond says trying to get through the call oddly fast.
Pink Diamond then ended the call leading to the holo-phone to fall once more, except this time I caught it a put it back up.
"That was odd right?" I asked my crew getting agreement from all of them.
Anyways, Construct," I said turning towards him, "Has the radio connected to everything?" I asked.
"Yes," Construct responded, "All connected."
"Good," I said, "I need you to start making a file on the time and day every warp pad that were connected has been used since landed," I told him, "And if you can, why the gem was warping. You have my full permission to get into as many things as you need,"
"Understood," Construct said before going one of the computers to work.
"Smash," I said turning to her, "I need you to get a list of everything that has gone through our radio, conversations, codes, whatever." I tell her.
"On it Boss!" she says going to the other computer to start working.
"Blast," I said going to her, "You need to go onto bodyguard duty for these two," I say pointing at Smash and Construct, "Make sure that nothing disturbs their work,"
"Yes Boss!" Blast says running to grab some bombs.
"Specs," I say looking at her, "Me and you are going to try to find a Crystal Gem base," I tell her as a smile creeps on to her face, "We'll be following where I saw Rose Quartz run to,"
"Aww," Smash moans, "Why can't I go?" she asks.
"Because this is supposed to be a sneaky operation," I explain, "And you are very not good at being sneaky," I tell her.
"I mean, I guess so." Smash mumbles under her breath.
"Then let's get to work," I say clapping, "Let's grab a radio and go!"
