Now, things may look bad. Specs and I may be tied up unable to do anything while one of the gems starts to call their leader to tell them the about the captured gems, but this is all according to plan.
Ok, this may not exactly be the plan but there a silver line to it.
They took out communicators and tried to get information from our team. But they were caught, and another team is called to get us.
The opportunity to observe the Crystal Gems may be gone, but we'll be able to get out without too much harm.
"Perhaps we should bubble them," one of our captures said, "Deal with them later you know,"
"No," the other gem replies, "They could have important information for us,"
They kept arguing back and forth while ideas rolled in my head trying to stall them.
Suddenly a gem comes in through the door.
"Rose Quartz is here," the gem called, "Come on," the gem said rushing them out the door.
"Maybe some alone time will open you up," one of the gems said before leaving.
As the door closed, I knew what we had to do.
"Plan G" I told Specs
"But Boss," Specs replied, "If we're caught the Diamonds will have us shattered!" Specs said trying to change my mind.
"If we're bubbled who knows when we could come out, it might even be era three," I responded.
Specs, for a few seconds sat in silence, do doubt internally debating on the plan.
"Understood Boss," she eventually responded.

"You think we should have bubbled them," the Jasper asked the Topaz.
"You know what, maybe you're right." The Topaz replied, "Let's go bubble them and present them to Rose Quartz.
"Sounds good!" The Jasper says before turning around and heading back into the holding room with Topaz.
As they walked into the room, they noticed that neither of the two gems were in there.
"Sound the alarm!" The Topaz yelled, before being poofed by a sword from above.
The Jasper starred at the gem which poofed her friend.
It was a green with a flat head facing forward. A Pearl was in one of its eyes and the other an odd yellow. On its chest sat a dark colored Lapis Lazuli gem.
It was tall and rather thin with a sword in each of its hands. Instead of feet it seemed to have claws digging into the ground.
(A/N -Look I'm not too good at describing things so just imagine a green General Grievous and your good)
"A fusion?" The Jasper said in confusion before being poofed and bubbled.
The fusion then left the bubble and started running attempting to escape the base.
Unfortunately, the only way out was through a group of rebels. The fusion hoped to be able to just get through without fighting.
The fusion then slowed down to a walk and went around a corner where the rebel gems were waiting for their leader.
Keeping fused so Specs and Boss didn't need to worry about splitting up they began to walk through the crowd.
As the fusion walked through, they were given odd looks and several gems tried to ask questions, but the fusion kept walking with their head using their height to hide the Pearl on their eye.
The rebels, not expecting a Homeworld gem to walk past them in their own base, didn't even think of the possibility that the new tall gem might be a Homeworld gem.
As the fusion reached the exit they reached for the door, just for the door to open with Rose Quartz and her Pearl behind it.
Due to Rose being tall herself she noticed that the fusion had two different gems on their body causing their eyes to sparkle.
"How did you do it?" Rose Quartz asked when she noticed.
"Do what?" the fusion knowing that saying nothing would be suspicious.
"How did you two fuse?" Rose Quartz responded, "I've only seen one other, maybe you could -
As Rose Quartz was talking the fusion began to make a plan to get out. The only way out is the door that Rose Quartz was blocking.
They then thought just to go around Rose Quartz, or under or over her. However, behind Rose Quartz was new rebels who only recently switched sides
Due to the small deformation in Specs the fusion was unfortunately nearsighted, so they were unable to tell how many troops there was exactly.
"The Lapis Lazuli and Pearl escaped!" A gem yelled out holding the Topaz and Jasper.
Rose Quartz then took a closer look at the fusion noticing that the two gems they had were a Pearl and Lapis Lazuli.
Before Rose Quartz could say a word, the fusion jumped above her and started to make their escape.
The leader of the Crystal Gems was caught off guard allowing the fusion to get past her.
However, that was only the first problem, there was still a horde of new Crystal Gem members.
After landing on the ground, the fusion began to start running towards the horde.
Each of the gems summoned their weapons and tried to get in formation.
But due to their habits ingrained in their gems they each tried to get in their own formation causing disorder as they ran into each other.
Approaching the new rebels the fusion jumped up and landed on one of the gems.
The fusion then started to jump from gem to gem going further and further forward.
Some gems had enough training that they tried to block the fusion by putting their weapons above them, but the fusion simply avoided those gems and kept going.
Reaching the end of the rebels the fusion continued running, before hearing a ship above them.
A gem then jumped from the ship, cracking the ground as she landed.
It was a Jasper, but much more powerful and larger than a regular Jasper.
The Jasper then spun into a ball and charged into the rebel gems going right past the fusion.
Turing around the fusion knew that the tides have turned and went on the attack.
Drawing their two swords then leaped into combat. Using the chaos of the Jasper, the fusion began fighting with more gems than they would be able to normally.
But with time, even they started to get overwhelmed.
With four different rebel gems coming at the fusion from different directions.
As they tried to attack the fusion, their arms each split along the middle with their swords splitting as well, allowing the fusion to block and parry all four gems.
The fusion then poofed the gems, with the Jasper looking on in awe.
"How," she commented too far away to notice that it was a fusion.
While the Jasper wasn't looking a shield was embedded into her side by Rose Quartz poofing her.
Seeing the tides of battle change the fusion went to grab the Jasper and escape with the ship.
Going to grab the Jasper, a shield manifested in front of them.
"What, how, why?" Rose Quartz asked not knowing what to say to a Homeworld fusion.
"You may call me General," General responded slipping under her shield, "Do not expect to meet me again," General said running to the ship.
Arriving under the ship General jumped as high as they could, seeing as they almost couldn't make it General unfused putting Specs on top of Boss.
