Daniel, avoiding Jackson's gaze, says, "Uncle, forget about it. I made a huge mistake that night."
Seeing Daniel speak this way, his uncle Jackson says, "What do you mean? Do you even realize how much harm was done to that girl? It wasn't a small mistake. When I investigated the matter, I found out that Mr. Brown had hired that thug Charlie for the job, and Charlie himself was hired by someone to ruin that girl, Bella. This means she didn't go there willingly or by mistake. She was brought there by force."
Hearing Jackson's words, Daniel starts thinking. Jackson adds, "I don't want to hear anything else. You must marry that girl, no matter what. You have only 24 hours."
Daniel is shocked by Jackson's words and exclaims, "Uncle! Do you even realize what you're saying? Marriage... me? I've told you before, I'll make all the decisions about my life. I don't like anyone interfering, and I'm not going to marry anyone. Besides, I have no interest in girls."
Listening to Daniel, Jackson laughs and says, "Maybe you'll take an interest in this girl. Otherwise, you wouldn't have made such a mistake. And don't forget, I'm asking you to marry her to correct your mistake."
Jackson begins to leave, but before going, he reminds Daniel, "Remember, you only have 24 hours. The girl doesn't have a boyfriend, so it won't be too hard for you. Let's meet tomorrow."
Saying this, Jackson leaves. Daniel, with his hand on his head, sits on the sofa, thinking about how he can no longer avoid his uncle's words. He has to marry that girl. Then, he picks up the file in front of him and looks at the photo. The girl was beautiful, and Daniel couldn't control himself in front of her. He was intoxicated, but now, who knows what she thinks of him?
That morning, she was looking at him with so much anger. Whenever Daniel thinks of her furious eyes, he feels deeply guilty.
Suddenly, Jacob says to Daniel, "Shall we go, sir?"
Daniel, with a questioning look, asks, "Where?"
Jacob replies, "To find the girl."
Daniel looks angrily at Jacob and says, "First, tell the company lawyer to prepare the marriage documents."
Jacob nods and makes a call, while Daniel goes upstairs to freshen up.
Meanwhile, at Bella's house, her friend Ruby arrives. Today was the last day to confirm her admission, and Ruby wanted to discuss it with Bella.
As soon as Ruby enters, she sees Richa. Being Bella's friend, she never really got along with Richa. Though she often came to the house, she didn't talk much with Richa. Today, too, she just says "Hi" to Richa and goes to meet Bella.
Seeing Ruby, Bella feels very happy since it had been a long time since they had last met.
Ruby says to Bella, "I need to talk to you about something important."
Bella responds, "I also have something important to discuss, but not here. I'll need to get permission from Uncle Nick. Will you help me?"
Ruby wasn't too surprised because she knew Bella's family didn't favor her much except for her grandpa.
Extending her hand, Ruby says, "Then let's go."
Without saying anything, Bella takes her hand, and they head out. Downstairs, Ruby approaches Nick, who is reading a newspaper, and says, "Uncle, I haven't met Bella in days. Can I take her out with me?"
Hearing Ruby, Nick can't refuse, as he had good business relations with her father, and he didn't want to ruin his image in front of her family.
So, he replies, "Of course. Bella will enjoy it."
Bella and Ruby were happy. Ruby takes Bella out. They go to a café, sip on coffee, and chat. Ruby says, "Bella, today is the last day to pay the fees. Why haven't you confirmed your admission yet? If you don't, it will be canceled."
Bella replies, "I know, but Uncle Nick refused to pay the fees."
Ruby shocked, she stands up and exclaims, "What!" Everyone in the café starts looking at them.
Bella pulls Ruby's hand, making her sit down, and says, "Calm down. What are you doing?"
Ruby responds, "But how can he do that? What will you do now? Should I talk to my dad? He won't refuse."
Bella shakes her head and says, "No, I don't want that. What will he think of me?"
Bella, feeling very sad, starts to cry. Ruby holds her hand, comforting her. Bella then gathers the courage to tell Ruby everything about that night and how her family treated her afterward.
Hearing this, Ruby feels terrible for Bella and begins to hate the person who wronged her. She hugs Bella to console her.
After talking for a while, they decide to leave the café. As soon as they step outside, four or five men dressed in black emerge from a large car. Their faces are expressionless, almost like robots, and they're armed. One man, who seems to be the leader, approaches Bella and says, "Ma'am, you need to come with us."
Bella, terrified, quickly grabs Ruby's hand. She wonders what these dangerous men want with her.
Bella begins to back away, clearly unwilling to go with them, but the man speaks again, "Our boss wants to see you immediately. If you don't come willingly, we'll have to take you by force. I'm sure you don't want that. Please cooperate with us."
Bella realizes there's no escape; they are too many and too dangerous. But the man is speaking politely, so she decides to go with them. Ruby tries to stop her, but Bella reassures her by saying, "Don't worry. I'll be fine. I'll be back soon."
Saying this, Bella gets into the car with the men, while Ruby watches helplessly.
Bella musters the courage to go with them, but inside, she's very scared.
The car drives out of the city toward a beautiful location. Bella gazes out the window, mesmerized by the view of trees and gardens, until the car stops in front of a mansion-like house.
The man in black, opens the car door for Bella. Stepping out, she is so captivated by the surroundings that she forgets everything else.
The man says, "This way, ma'am."
Bella snaps out of her thoughts and follows him inside the house. As soon as she enters, she's astonished by the lavish interior. She can't stop admiring it, but her attention is drawn to a man sitting on the sofa in the large hall. Her expression turns to one of disgust and hatred.
The men in black lead her to the man who appears cold and handsome. He is none other than Daniel Smith.
Daniel stands up and tells the man who brought Bella, "Jacob, you may go now."
Jacob nods respectfully and leaves with his men.
Now, only Daniel and Bella remain in the room. Bella angrily shouts, "How dare you bring me here?"
Daniel approaches her with a smirk and says, "Do you even know who you're talking to? The name's Daniel Smith. Lower your voice when speaking to me." As he says this, Daniel's smile fades into anger.
Hearing the name, Bella is stunned. She can't believe that she's standing in front of the Daniel Smith, the most powerful man in the country. In terms of power, status, and wealth, no one can rival him. She stands there with her mouth open, unable to believe it. She had only heard about him from people and the media, never even seeing a photo of him. He was far more handsome and cold-hearted than she had imagined.
As Bella processes this, the events of that night come flooding back to her, and her expression shifts from surprise to fury.
Snapping her out of her thoughts, Daniel hands her some papers. Bella looks down and realizes they are marriage documents for him and Daniel.
Holding out a pen, Daniel says, "Sign these."
Shocked, Bella stammers, "What?"
Daniel repeats, "I said, sign these papers. Do what I'm telling you, and don't try to make me angry."
Bella says, "But why do you want this? You could have anyone. Why me? And what makes you think I'll just agree? I will never marry you. I can never forget what you did to me. I hate you." Her voice grows louder and more intense.
Hearing this, Daniel's hand freezes mid-air, still holding the pen. He controls his anger and says, "Look, what I did that night wasn't intentional. Whatever happened was a mistake, and I want to make it right. Daniel Smith has never felt this guilty before, so you should just agree."
Bella ignores him, folding her arms and looking away, as if she didn't hear a word. Seeing this, Daniel pulls out a gun, places it against Bella's head, and yells, "I'm talking to you! No one has ever dared to ignore Daniel Smith."
Bella is terrified by Daniel's sudden change, but she doesn't want to back down, even though she no longer cares about her life.
