The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, and I slowly became aware of the slight ache between my legs, a sweet reminder of how Damien had shown me just how much of a man he was last night. My neck also held a faint sting—evidence of the mark he left, a claim that bound us together forever. Gently touching it, a pleasurable shiver ran through me. It was like his presence lingered in that mark, a constant reminder that I was his, and he was mine.
