"This guy's been out cold for over a day—why isn't he waking up?"
In Nami's room, a handsome young man with medium-length black hair lay on her bed, eyes shut.
Nami peeled an orange, tossing a casual question over her shoulder.
"Is he gonna die or turn into a vegetable?"
She was striking—pretty face, killer figure.
It'd be a shame if he just faded away.
Across the room, a woman with tattoos and short blue-purple hair shook her head lightly.
"No, I checked with Dr. Nako. He's just unconscious for some reason—his body's healthy, strong."
"Isn't that basically a vegetable?"
Nami grumbled.
She'd found him washed up on the coast after a trip abroad. If he weren't so good-looking—and hadn't cried for help before passing out—she'd have left him.
"Ugh…"
A groan escaped the boy on the bed. His eyes fluttered open, and he bolted upright, scanning the room.
Two girls—one orange-haired, one blue-purple—stared back.
"Thanks for saving me. I'm Weiss."
Weiss slid off the bed, facing Nami with genuine gratitude.
This damn system—dumping him mid-sea after a time-space hop.
Chased by ten-meter sea beasts, he'd barely survived. His enhanced body and combat experience let him slay them, but exhaustion knocked him out as he hit the shore.
He vaguely recalled begging an orange-haired girl for help.
"Weiss?"
Nami and Nojiko murmured his name, nodding.
Seemed like a decent guy.
"How'd you end up alone at sea? Shipwreck?"
Nojiko, the older sister, eyed Weiss curiously.
"Yeah, that—and sea beasts attacked. I killed them and swam here."
Weiss answered honestly.
He'd repay this life debt—no secrets here.
