"Yeah, right," she whispered as she hung up the call.
That same day was Cherry's next shoot.
She paced the room in confusion.
"¿Cómo voy a manejar esto? (How am I going to handle this?)" she muttered under her breath.
The dilemma was clear, how could she deal with this urgent issue and still make it to the shoot?
Just as she tugged at her hair in frustration, a knock came at the door, followed by the ringing of the bell.
Cherry quickly approached the door with her messy nerves.
As soon as she peeked through and saw Juana standing there, a sigh of relief escaped her lips.
"Just in time, Juana!" Cherry exclaimed, holding the door open wider.
Then, without skipping a beat, she asked, "Is there any way I could forfeit today's shoot?"
Juana stood there for a moment, clearly puzzled. Her brows furrowed, and she tilted her head slightly.
"Forfeit?" she repeated. "¿Por qué? (Why?)"
