"Next on the list is your prep video for your Instagram fans, ma'am," Juana said, looking at the clipboard in her hand.
Cherry nodded absently, her thoughts elsewhere. She barely heard Juana as the assistant continued.
"I think your free time should be by 2:00 pm, ma'am," Juana concluded, looking up from her notes.
"2:00 pm, huh?" Cherry mused aloud, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, ma'am," Juana confirmed with a slight nod.
Cherry considered for a moment before instructing, "Then give him a response for 2 pm."
"Right away!" Juana responded promptly, turning to leave. But as she did, Cherry called her back.
"Oh, and tell Carlos to be ready by 2," Cherry added, her tone light but firm.
"Of course, ma'am," Juana said, though her face betrayed a hint of concern. She hesitated before adding, "I just hope he doesn't ditch you again like he did yesterday."
