CHAPTER FIFTY - THREE
"I don't recall anything significant from fourth grade.
The only thing that stands out is when I fell off a swing and everyone laughed at me.
I also remember being bullied for wearing braces, which made me look different, just like they said."
Cherry laughed.
"I did look pretty silly back then, so I can't really blame them for laughing."
Cherry started to act it out.
"My nose was huge and round, and my ears stuck out like Shrek's," she laughed. "And on top of that…"
"Don't tell me..."
"Oh, I did..."
The fairy burst into laughter, already anticipating where Cherry was going.
"Don't tell me you wore glasses too..." she continued to laugh uncontrollably.
Soon, lightning began to crackle.
The fairy's laughter was so infectious that it seemed to summon lightning.
Cherry, still chuckling, quickly stopped and had to dodge the bolts striking near her.
