CHAPTER FIFTY - ONE
"I'll go with you," Cherry declared.
Rafael's expression shifted.
"I no longer have a space for you, I'm sorry. I've changed my mind… but I can offer you a ride again on one condition."
Cherry scoffed, falling into step behind him. "An offer, you say?"
"Yeah, or do you want to go alone?" He shot back, glancing over his shoulder with a teasing grin.
"What condition?"
Rafael rushed through his next words,
"Say please, and if you don't—"
Before he could finish, Cherry blurted out an un reluctant "please." She rolled her eyes.
"Huh…!" Rafael stood there confused as he grinned thereafter.
"Well, that was easier than I thought."
"Where did you say your car is again?"
Rafael pointed.
"Over there!"
Cherry pushed Rafael aside and walked towards the car.
Rafael stood there, shocked, watching her approach his vehicle.
