"Did something happen?" Sara asked, asked to read his expression and and disntat and thought gaze told her something was seriously wrong. She just needed him to answer or at last nod, and her assumption would be confirmed.
"I don't know," he said thoughtfully. Sean did sound serious, but Alex didn't want to read too much into it. He might end up being too occupied to focus on the matters of the day.
Sara wanted to ask why he didn't ask Sean what happened, but she thought he might have his reasons and thus chose to let it be. "I will go and get ready now. I'll see you in a bit," Alex. She saw him nod again before she stood up and left.
After walking a few feet, she stopped sksturned to see him typing speddingly away at his phone's keyboard. "Somehing is wrong," she muttered. He may not have asked, but he can surely feel it.
Once she was gone, Alex dialed a number and placed the phon on his ear.
