Chapter 20 - Call me Alex 2: ....And I'll kiss you

"Call me Alex from now on." He said and she blinked.

No way! There was no way, right? Sara asked herself. She didn't hear him correctly, right? But still feeling the warmth around her waist, his breath fanning her face and his forehead still placed on hers, there was no way she could have misheard under such proximity, right?

"President…"

"Call me president again, and I'll kiss you," he said with a serious expression that left Sara speechless. He stared into her eyes as he said these words, and she knew he meant every word.

"What?!"

"And right now, don't speak unless you want me to kiss you," he added.

Sara opened her mouth, but no words made it out. She saw him swallow his saliva while staring at her lips, and she clamped her mouth shut. He would do it. She could feel it. He was not joking.

"Good girl," he praised. "Now just stand here with me for a little while, we will go in soon," he said as he placed his forehead back on hers. He needed to hold her to forget about seeing some annoying people disrespect her. He already fired them, but he didn't feel it was enough, but he didn't think she would appreciate it if he did do something more, so this was his own way of stopping himself. Burying himself in her scent and warmth and feeling her soft body in his arms. It was what he needed.

It was a pity that they were in the office, and she was still too guarded against him.

"Mr Legend, this isn't appropriate," she said, and he shook his head. She didn't call the president, but she also did call him the name he wanted to hear. It was his name but also not it.

"I didn't know you wanted to be kissed by me so much," he said, and he lifted her chin with a finger, and her heartbeat picked up. "Tell me, Sara, do you want my kiss?" He stared intensely at into her eyes before trailing his gaze down to her lips and inched forward.

Panicked, Sara immediately pressed her hands against his chest and pushed with all her strength. But in the end, he still didn't budge, but he stopped and smirked.

"I won't do that while you are being so defensive," he caressed her blower lip with his thumb and then licked his finger. "We should go now. I believe I am calm enough now."

Sara sighed and took in deep breaths. She didn't know why she only reacted when his lips came too close to hers, but she was determined to not allow a next time. Fixing herself, she followed behind him.

Alex opened the door without waiting for her, knowing she would need some time to gather herself and before appearing before anyone else. As much as he would like to stay there and see her flushed face, he had to give her some privacy, and it would be less embarrassing if he left before.

Olivia walked into her brother's office with an angry expression. She looked like the whole world had wronged her, and she was out for war.

"Leave us, Malerie," Adam said with a hand over his eyes as he sighed. His sister was here to throw a tantrum, and he would rather have his mistress out of the way before that happened.

"But sir..." Malerie wanted to refuse, but he shot a warning glare at her, which shut her up.

"You heard him. Now leave, you whore," Olivia stamped her foot on and crossed her arms oblivious to her how her words reached the other two people and the reactions they gave after it. She completely missed the death stare from her brother but relished the murderous gaze of Malerie. "What? Did I hit a sore…"

"Olivia…" Adam's tone was cold, and for the first time, Olivia found herself shivering to her brother's tone. "Sit," it was a one word command, but she couldn't find any strength in her to refuse it. Not even a single hesitation from her.

"Give us a moment, Malerie," his tone changed as he spoke to the secretary. He even offered her a smile while Malerie still glared at Olivia.

"Understood, Sir," she spoke through gritted teeth. Adam gave her a nod, and she left with anger still boiling within her.

"Why are you here?" He returned his attention to Olivia once the door closed, and she gulped.

Adam had never taken offense like this. Not even when she spoke badly about his ex-fiance. Why was he so protective of this secretary? What was different about her?

"Speak, Olivia. Or leave immediately. I won't have you come here and insult my employees as you please," he ordered. His voice is still stern and cold.

"I….I…" she clenched her fists placed on her lap as she tried hard not to glare at the already livid Adam. "It's my schoolmates… no, it's father. He grounded me for what happened last night but…I have party tonight and I…" she stammered all the way and still was unable to complete her words.

"Get out now, Liv," Adam snapped. He didn't have the patience for this.

"What?" She suddenly stood up, pushing the chair that she sat backward.

"You heard me. Get out," he stressed.

"Brother…" she was seething right now, but she couldn't do anything about it.

"If you were grounded, why aren't you home?" He asked, his tone and expression still as indifferent as the moment she called Malerie a whore.

"You meanie," she screamed, trying to hold back her tears, but it was futile as they fell anyway.

"Leave before I call security to throw you out," he said and she smacked the desk.

"F*ck you! I hate you, Adam," she yelled a few more curses as she stomped out of the office. Upon closing the door, she came face to face with Malerie. "Get the f*xk out of my way, slut," she pushed Malerie aside and walked ahead while Malerie's countenance darkened even more.

The only thing holding her back was the fact the little wench was Adam's little sister. If not….
