Liam and Max still stood outside discussing as Night quickly came, everywhere was dark but students were still seen outside laughing and chatting, with some flirting around, but all these wasn't what bothered Liam and Max now.
Now that they knew that the supernatural stuffs that they only saw in movies were real, their mind couldn't stay at rest.
Knowing that they might even have something strange going on in their body, it was hard not to worry.
"It's late let's go back" Liam suggested after discussing for a while and getting nowhere.
After a long time of the questios and answers session with Max, he discovered that Max knew nothing just like him, he was totally clueless and didn't really know what was going on.
They got to their room quickly, as they opened the door, they saw Lucas and Jack playing cards.
"Where have you guys been" Lucas asked seeing Liam and Max enter the room.
"What did you guys see in the cameras?" Liam asked ignoring Lucas' question
"What camera?" Jack asked confused.
"Didn't you guys say you were going to check the school cameras to know how we ended up in Daniel's room" Liam asked with a bit of skepticism, he felt that something was off about the way they replied.
"We went to Daniel's room? When?" Lucas asked, confusion visible on his face.
Damn! How is this possible?
Liam and Max stared at each other in shock, they forgot even that?
Liam and Max calmed down after realizing that what they were dealing with was a lot bigger than what they thought.
These people could make you forget anything they wanted and it was yet to be known what will be done to them if they knew that Liam and Max couldn't be brain wiped.
Lian and Max dismissed the question like it was never asked.
Liam entered the washroom and freshened up, he just wanted to go to bed and hope everything that happened was a dream.
The next day Liam woke as the bright rays of the sun found it's way into the room, his body felt sore and he felt this faint headache from yesterday's rollercoaster of emotions.
Liam got up from his bed with a yawn, it was weekend, normally he wouldn't feel the need to visit his grandma who lived a bit far from his Oakdale University, but after contemplating throughout the night, he decided to go see the woman.
Liam felt that leaving the school environment for now was the right choice, he quickly got up with that thought in mind and began to prepare to leave for the weekend .
His roommates were still sleeping, well only Max seemed to be awake, though he still laid down on his bed.
"You look lost man, what's the problem" Liam asked seeing Max's unfocused expression.
Max sighed as he snapped out from his dazed mind.
"You know the reason Liam, I can't keep my mind off from these strange stuffs" Max said rolling his eyes as he got down from his bunk.
His school dorm rooms used bunk beds, and Max and Liam shared one bunk, while Jack and Lucas shared the other.
Liam stayed above Max, while Max stayed underneath him.
Liam yawned after hearing what Max said.
"I am going home for the weekend" Liam said changing the topic as if what Max said had nothing to do with him.
"You are leaving?" Max asked with wide eyes, he knew Liam very well, his friend rarely went home.
"Yeah" LIam replied as he entered the washroom to take care of his smelling breath.
Max didn't say anything, he felt that Liam was scared to stay in this school a second more.
Liam finished washing up, by the time he got out, Lucas and Jack were already up.
"You are going home for the weekend?" As if synchronized with same thought, the two of them asked with curious eyes as they stared at Liam.
Liam just ignored them and packed his bag and left with a goodbye to his friends.
"Liam!!"
As Liam got to the North gate of the school Liam heard his name.
A girl who had her hair tied in a ponytail ran up to him, she was stunningly beautiful. She wore this tight fitting dress that brought out her curves. She had headset on her head ahd seemed to be jogging.
Liam couldn't help but hesitate about going to see his grandma, he wouldn't see all these scene for two days.
"Evelyn?" Liam stared at the girl with curiosity.
"Where are you going dressed up like this" Evelyn asked as she scanned Liam with her sparkling eyes.
"Home" Liam replied
Evelyn's eyes opened in astonishment.
"Have you forgotten the practice for the football competition coming up?" Evelyn asked pouting.
"Oh that? I will come back on Monday, if it's too late to join then I can only say sorry" Liam couldn't change his plans for some football competition.
The girl frowned at Liam's excuse but didn't say much, "call me when you get back" she said as she walked away.
Liam shook his head, he could tell she was angry but,
Liam took a bus home, the journey was long and took him almost five hours.
He walked on foot for a very long time and the buildings around seemed to thin out until there was no building anymore.
After sometime a building came into sight, the building was not fancy but looked firm, sometimes he wondered why his grandma decided to stay in such lonely place, when her son could just give her a better building in the city.
As he got home, he saw the door open, so he gently pushed it as he entered inside.
The house seemed empty leaving Liam confused.
"Grandma?" Liam called out softly, but no one answered him.
He checked all the rooms inside the house but, he couldn't see any sign of a living person.
He brought out his phone to call, but when the phone rang he saw it on the floor.
Liam was confused, just then the house started shaking violently.
It was as if a huge earthquake had hit foundation of the building.
The shaking got more violent and Liam couldn't find his footing, so he fell.
Just then a loud roar sounded inside the house, Liam's eardrums almost shattered.
He was scared shitless.
The house suddenly got dark, very pitch dark despite the bright afternoon outside.
"Liam get out from here!" His grandma's familiar voice sounded out, he traced the voice but couldn't see the woman.
Liam tried to get up but the shaking of the building was very violent and he couldn't stand.
Just then in the dark house a light shone although it was dim, Liam could see a figure there, it was his grandmom.
In front of her stood something that made Liam almost pass out.
It was ..... An animal? Or maybe a beast.
Liam couldn't tell at the moment because he couldn't see it clearly.
He saw his grandmom with a book and then her eyes were shining brightly with white light.
Then she said something, something Liam couldn't understand.
It wasn't English he was sure of that.
Te ad infernum remitto, daemon
The demon roared loudly at the figure of his grandmom as if threatening to tear her to pieces.
Liam stared wide eyed at the scene in front of him.
Just when he though he left the dangerous environment at school, he entered into a Lion's den at home.
His mind was blank with just only one thought.
You have got to be kidding me !!!
