With these questions in mind I sit on my bed like a statue thinking about the things that have happened so far and what I have missed. All of this have started happening after my 2nd awakening and I need to know why?
Next day I wake up by 9:26 AM as I couldn't sleep and was forced to drink sleeping potion by my mother after 1:00 AM to get the rest which my body and mind needed the most.
When I come out of my room, I see Mr. Cooper and uncle Jon already waiting for me in the living room. Seeing them my blood started to boil with anger, but I controlled myself as my sister and mother are sitting next to them and my father is also in the room. I don't want to show my anger in front of them.
They look at me with concern and uncle Jon says "I am sorry Alex, I didn't know this will be happening so soon, like this. But you are special and I couldn't say that till now."
Mr. Cooper continues saying "Now I know you should have figured why you are special or at least close to it. Come with us and we will explain everything that only few people in this town knows."
"He is my son, why can't I know about it?" My father asked with anger in his eyes. To which uncle Jon replies "Sorry Kareem, this is confidential. Can't be revealed to anyone except a few." To which Zaana says "It's not fair." And Mr. Cooper responds "Life is never fair kiddo."
After that, Mr. Cooper, uncle Jon and myself leave for the Hunter's Guild and when we enter the branch manager's room, I can see 13 people already waiting for us. 4 are from the top 5 companies in Havet, including Mr. Cooper it makes top 5. The branch manager and assistant manager of the Hunter's Guild, one of the best blacksmith, trainer Jack and my teammates. They have all gathered here to speak about 1 person, Me.
I look at them with anger as these people should have known about the massacre that was supposed to happen in the 'defense' yesterday, but still sent their company's soldiers without preparation. I control my anger as I don't want to create a scene inside the Hunter's Guild office.
I learned in the meeting that while the 2nd awakening doesn't create a new element, but enhance the element that is already inside the awakened. But in rare occasions, another element will be awakened which allows 1 to use both the elements.
In my case, it is Air and Water element which has merged into Ice element. This has happened before, but only for hand full of people and they have reached impressive heights in battle power and stability in Almeya.
They say I will be the one to handle the F and E grade dungeons along with my team to clear them if we have to and the company soldiers who has got the authority over those dungeons will help us if needed.
The branch manager says "There has been a merging of elements in the 2nd awakening has happened only 7 times in the history and they have grown to become the strongest of the strongest with 2 of them even becoming an immortal." To which I just nod thinking 'This is not an excuse to send hundreds of people to their deaths in the name of test.'
He also says me and my team will be getting the best weapons and armors crafted from the nearby city 'The Helm" Which will be in D grade. This creates excitement in my teammates' eyes as the D grade is overkill to handle the E grade monster's attacks and defense.
Having D grade equipments will increase my battle power by a notch making ne invincible in F grade dungeons or that's what they say. With my Ice Armor covering over it, I will be able to steamroll even the D grade dungeons with ease.
'It is for the greater good.' Is what I got as a response when I asked about the 'defense' that happened yesterday and they say that if this information goes out from any of the 15 members present excluding me, will be executed along with the people they share the information with.
They say they will execute the people I share the information in front of me as they don't want to kill a potential super-being who has the potential to become an immortal in the future.

I again look at me 'Status' to see if I have and noticed the word 'Enhanced' for the 1st time. Maybe that is why my Ice Armor is too strong when I used it with the company armor. I wanted to move away from all this and become the lone wolf I wanted to be, but I can't as I will be monitored by uncle Jon all the time and should be with my team.
They even gave our team the name 'Iron Vale Squad' and provided us with a set of armor and weapons temporarily as the armor will take a month to be crafted in the design they want and our preferred weapons will be a few months as it will be crafted by a single blacksmith.
We will be given a mask to cover my face to protect my identity when I go to assist the people in dungeon clearing. This will be the a good thing for my family as they will not be terrorized or targeted by the people who wants to subdue me through them.
They didn't give me any option to reject it as I will have to do it or I will be exiled from the continent. I will not be able to live outside the defense walls even for a few days as it has more dangerous monsters and animals which I do not have the power to face them now.
They also say I don't have to worry about the credits anymore as I will be given another mode of transactions that can be done only by and through the people who have been chosen by the government of all the continents in the Hunter's Guild.
