My name is Alexander Saad. I am 14 year old kid turning 15 tomorrow and will awaken the Pseudo System by midnight, today. I live in a peaceful town called Havet with my family.
I wish to awaken an element that will give a boost in attack and defence like my mother Leena who has awakened Rock element. She is in High-D grade, working in the local security office of our town.
My father Kareem is in Low-D grade, a well known crafter with Fire element and my sister Zaana who is 2 years elder to me is a High-F grade archer with lightning element.
I am very excited to awaken the 'System' which we call in short to start my own journey to become powerful.
I want to become powerful for many things, and I will become powerful to face anything the life throws at me.
It is 10:20 pm and I will have to wait for another one and a half hours to awaken my System and know what the fate has planned for me.
With excitement in my heart, I couldn't sleep. I tried to calm my mind and failed miserably. So, I sat in lotus position on my bed, closed my eyes and started to take deep slow breaths concentrating on my breath.
After a few tries, I could hear my parents standing outside my room whispering to themselves. Looks like they wanted to join me during my awakening.
I smiled hearing their conversation as they want to give me privacy, but still wished to be with me, support me during the awakening.
I also heard Zaana scolding my parents for not giving me the privacy in the most important moment which will decide the future of my life.
I got down from my bed, went to the door and opened it for them, which surprised them as they were thinking I was sleeping and couldn't hear their whispering arguments.
"Hello guys, fancy to see you here. Come in." I told them with a smile I couldn't hold back after looking at the expressions on their face.
"We are sorry Alex. We didn't want to disturb you. Sorry if we woke you up." My sister apologised and starred daggers at my parents.
She loves and cares for me more than my parents. She is a little overprotective towards me from the time I can remember, coming to my rescue from many awkward situations.
"It is fine sis, I couldn't sleep and was just meditating to calm my mind. I'd love to have company of my loving family." I said moving aside to give them way to enter my room.
My bedroom is small like theirs with a bed, a writing/reading table with a chair. It is also messy as I only clean them once a week.
Looking at the condition of my room, Zaana's face turned red with clear anger to which I apologized "Sorry sis, I was planning to clear thr mess after the awakening so I could also use it to practice with the element I awake".
I wasn't planning to do it, but that is the only possible way I could think of to stop her from scolding me. She is Miss Cleanliness of our family who wants everything to be as clean as possible.
"Since it is your birthday I'm letting you go today, when I come here tomorrow, which I WILL, I want this mess cleared." She said to me with stern voice which made me "Shigh" in relief for not getting blasted by her.
My mother smiled at this as she knows my sister will be angry for anything, but will not be angry on me. She will act angry which will make me feel worse and do what she wants me to do, just to calm her.
She cleaned my bed and they sat on it while I sat on the only chair in my room and started talking about the regular things. I could see my sister looking at the clock digital hanging in a corner every few minutes to check the time.
She is doing 'Countdown' on my birthday as she always does. But this time, it is different. She is doing it for my awakening too.
We discussed about many things, but they didn't ask me anything about the awakening as they didn't want to make me feel the pressure or the get too excited which I already am.
When the clock stuck 12:00, a set of transparent blue color words started appearing about an inch away from me at the centre of my vision.
It didn't hinder my vision, but stayed at its center even when I looked around. I looked at my parents and sister, nodded to let them know the awakening has began.

It took 15 minutes for the awakening to complete. In the duration, the entire room was quiet. My family looked more tensed than I was a few minutes before the awakening.
Without any delay, I thought 'STATUS' and a new set of words in transparent blue appeared in front of me. This is what I have been waiting for years now. I didn't want to waste a second to know what is my element.

I am a little disappointed to see my 'STATUS', my attributes are low. My attack is good with 9 which is the maximum a newly awakened human can have. But ENDURANCE is low by touching the lower margin of the average and my other attributes are just average.
I didn't want to show my disappointment to my family who is looking at me intently wanting to know my element. Starting attributes are not important as it can be increased through training and fighting the monsters in the wild.
When I told them my element is Air, they were surprised and happy as we all are having different elements and can help each other when needed.
