Chapter 2 - chapter 2

"What are you boys doing here" Bisky voiced out behind them with a hint of curiosity

Te and Koby looked up in surprise to see their mother standing at the edge of the garden, her arms crossed but her expression curious rather than stern.

"Just tending to the garden, Mom," Koby said, his tone casual. "Making sure everything's growing the way it should."

Bisky's eyes softened as she looked over the flourishing garden. "You've done a good job here. The plants are looking strong and healthy."

Te stood up, wiping his hands on his pants. "We've been experimenting with different ways to make them grow better. It's been kind of fun seeing what works."

Bisky nodded approvingly. "Gardening is a good way to learn patience and care. It's not just about making things grow; it's about understanding how they grow and why."

Koby smiled, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "It's nice to see the results of our work. And it's peaceful out here."

Bisky walked over and knelt by the herbs Te had been working on. She inspected them closely before nodding again. "You're both learning well. Keep it up, and this garden will be something special."

Te and Koby exchanged a glance, pleased with their mother's approval. As Bisky stood up and dusted off her hands, she gave them a small, proud smile.

"But," Bisky continued, her tone shifting slightly, "the garden isn't the only thing you need to tend to. Your training is just as important."

Te and Koby's expressions grew more serious as they sensed what was coming next.

"In fact," Bisky said, her eyes narrowing playfully, "I think it's about time we started your training—right now."

"Right now?" Te asked, glancing at the garden tools still in his hands.

"Yes, right now," Bisky replied, her voice firm but not unkind. "You've had your fun with the garden, but we have work to do. If you're going to be ready for what's ahead, we can't waste any more time."

Koby nodded, setting down the watering can. "Alright, Mom. We're ready."

Te followed suit, putting the shears aside. "Let's do this."

Bisky's smile widened, a glint of excitement in her eyes. "Good. Follow me, boys. It's time to push your limits."

Te and Koby followed Bisky through the dense forest, their footsteps crunching softly against the fallen leaves and twigs beneath them. The canopy above filtered the sunlight into dappled patterns on the ground, creating an almost serene atmosphere despite the anticipation building within them.

Bisky led the way with purpose, her pace brisk and confident. The brothers trailed just behind her, exchanging curious glances as they ventured deeper into the woods. They had trained before, but something about Bisky's demeanor today suggested that this session would be different.

After several minutes of walking, the trees began to thin, and the forest opened up into a wide, open clearing. The clearing was vast, surrounded by tall trees that formed a natural barrier. The ground was flat and covered in soft grass, with patches of bare earth here and there. A gentle breeze swept through, rustling the leaves and adding to the sense of quietude that hung in the air.

Bisky stopped at the edge of the clearing and turned to face the boys. "This will be your training ground for today," she said, her voice calm yet commanding. "It's isolated enough that we won't be disturbed, and there's plenty of space for what we need to do."

Te looked around, taking in the expanse of the clearing. "It's perfect," he said, already feeling the energy of the place. The openness of the space made it feel like anything was possible.

"Alright before we begin, I will let you know the risk of learning these techniques I'm going to teach you over these next few years," Bisky said, her face becoming serious. " The techniques I'm going to teach you are called the six powers, powerful techniques developed by the world government that will give you the strength of a hundred men."

"WOAH" Te and koby let out, they obviously knew the techniques from watching the anime, but they still had to put up a farce in front of their mother.

"I was taught these techniques when I was part of an association called CP0."

'HOLY SHIT' koby and Te thought, they definitely didn't know that.

"CP0 is the strongest intelligence agency among Cipher Pol, working directly under the World Nobles. I was a part of that organization for over 20 years, only deciding to leave when I found out I was pregnant with you two" Brisky explained. " So I faked my death with the help of a friend and came to Greed Island here in the South Blue."

"Oh my ODA your a complete badass!!" Te said.

"Od what..Language son… and yes I am."

Bisky smiled at Te's outburst, a mix of pride and nostalgia in her eyes. "I suppose you could say that. But being a 'badass' as you put it, came with a lot of responsibilities and dangers. That's why I need you both to be prepared. The techniques I'll be teaching you aren't just for show—they're designed to keep you alive in a world full of threats."

"Wait since you're sharing all this, can you tell who our father is," Koby asked

"Ah yes, your father his name is Borsalino or some might call him Kizaru."

A bombshell just dropped inside both Te's and Koby's minds their father was Kizaru a navy admiral the man who ate the light fruit.

"You're serious I've his name in the world newspaper isn't he a navy admiral one of their strongest weapons?"

" Don't worry about your father right now." biscuit cutting this conversation about their father short. "Now I need you both to focus on the training."

"YES MA'AM" they both shouted

The revelation that Kizaru, one of the Navy's most powerful admirals, is their father has undoubtedly shaken Koby and Te. Bisky, however, quickly redirected their focus back to the task at hand—training.

"The first technique I'm going to teach you is finger pistol. I didn't catch most of your fight with greaves, but to withstand that amount of damage you both took I know even at a young age you both have strong bodies so we will focus on approving your bodies after I show you the techniques and we will know where to approve from there."

"YES MA'AM"

"Alright, my precious gems to practice this you will need to stab a finger in a tree and make a bullet size hole" bisky explains. " now let me demonstrate."

Bisky stepped forward toward a sturdy tree at the edge of the clearing. She raised her hand, extending her index finger while the boys watched intently. In an instant, she thrust her finger into the tree with incredible speed. The tree bark splintered, and a perfect, bullet-sized hole appeared where her finger had struck.

"This is the Finger Pistol," Bisky explained, pulling her finger back from the tree. "It's one of the Six Powers techniques. The key is to focus all your strength into a single point and release it in a quick, precise motion. It's not just about power; it's about speed and control."

Te and Koby stared at the hole in the tree, their expressions a mix of awe and determination.

"Now, it's your turn," Bisky said, stepping back to give them space. "Start by focusing your energy into your finger. Imagine it becoming as hard as steel. Then, strike the tree with everything you've got."

Koby and Te exchanged glances, 'no nen for now' was that look they gave each other.'

They both knew if they utilized nen it would be a shortcut, and they wanted to test their bodily limits during their training.

Taking a deep breath, Koby tightened his fist before extending his index finger, focusing all his strength into it. Te did the same, his mind sharp and clear, visualizing his finger becoming as hard as steel.

"Alright," Koby muttered under his breath, steeling himself for the attempt. Te nodded, echoing his brother's resolve.

They both struck simultaneously, their fingers driving toward the tree bark. The impact was solid, and though the wood groaned under the pressure, it didn't splinter as cleanly as Bisky's had. Both boys pulled back, examining the small dents they'd made.

Bisky watched them closely, her eyes narrowing slightly in assessment. "Good start," she said, her tone even. "You've got the right idea, but you need to focus more on the speed of your strike. Power comes with practice, but speed—speed comes from understanding the technique."

'These boys are stronger than I expected, I was sure each of them would break their finger on their first try.' The realization brought a small, proud smile to her lips, though she quickly masked it to maintain her stern demeanor.

Meanwhile, Koby and Te were having a different experience.'DAMN THAT SHIT HURT' was both the boys thought process after trying to put a hole in the tree.

Te grimaced slightly but refused to let it show on his face. "Alright, let's try again," he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

Koby nodded, flexing his fingers as he prepared for another attempt. "We'll get it. Just gotta find the right balance."

Bisky gave a short nod of approval. "Good. Remember, the pain is part of the process. It means you're pushing your limits. Keep going until you feel like you've got the hang of it. Your bodies will adapt—just don't get sloppy."

Koby and Te stood in the clearing, their faces set in determination as they faced the tree. Bisky had given them the challenge of mastering the Finger Pistol technique, and they were intent on proving themselves. The sun was high in the sky, and their efforts were starting to show in the sweat glistening on their foreheads.

'Alright, just one more time. Focus, Te. You can do this. It's just a tree. A really, really sturdy tree. No problem.'

'If I hit this tree just right, maybe it'll fall over and I won't have to do this anymore. No? Okay, focus. Just hit the tree.'

Te squared his shoulders and extended his finger, focusing all his energy on it. He jabbed at the tree, and there was a faint thud as his finger made contact, but no hole. He winced and shook his hand, feeling the sting.

'Seriously? I'm going to need a new finger at this rate. Maybe it's time to start considering a career in tree-watering.'

Koby followed suit, taking his stance with a determined expression. He jabbed his finger at the tree, and while he managed to create a small dent, it was far from a bullet-sized hole. He pulled back, his hand vibrating slightly.

'Maybe if I pretend this is a giant piece of candy, I'll feel better about failing. Nope, still just a tree. Great.'

The boys took a short break, rubbing their fingers and exchanging looks of mutual frustration.

'Why did we think this was a good idea? Oh right, because it's supposed to make us stronger. I better start seeing results soon or I'm going to turn this tree into firewood.'

'We're going to need a new tree soon. I'm going to be the king of tree-poking if this keeps up.'

Bisky watched them with a mix of amusement and satisfaction, noticing their struggle but also their determination. She could see that they were pushing their limits, which was exactly what she wanted.

The boys resumed their attempts with renewed vigor. Koby tried different angles, while Te focused on adjusting his technique.

'Okay, maybe if I pretend this tree is an annoying villain, I can channel all my anger into the technique. Tree, you're going down!'

'If I can't make a hole in this tree, I'm going to use it as a punchline for all my future jokes. "Why did the Nen user punch the tree? Because it didn't listen to him!"

'Finally, after what seemed like hours of trying, Te managed to create a tiny hole in the tree. He stared at it in amazement, his face lighting up with triumph.'

'Yes! Finally! It's not much, but it's a start. I'm going to brag about this hole for days!'

Koby, seeing Te's success, gave it one last determined try. With a concentrated effort, he managed to create a slightly larger hole. He grinned widely, feeling a sense of accomplishment.

' I did it! I'm officially the master of tree-poking! And I didn't even have to bribe the tree.'

They both turned to Bisky, their faces flushed with exhaustion but also pride. Bisky clapped her hands, a satisfied smile on her face.

"Good job, you two. Koby your technique is almost flawless feels just like mine but what you lack is power, Te your power is just fine but your technique is rigid at best, so we will work on this until you both can pierce through steel."

'I think I'm going to need a massage after this. Or maybe just a nap. Or both.'

"Now for the fun part strength exercises," bisky said with a grim tone, or maybe it was just grim to the boy's ears.

----------------

Later that night in Koby and Te's room.

" I'm so exhausted, " Te let out before crashing into his bed face-first.

"You're telling me, I shouldn't even feel this tired my body couldn't keep up with her training at all."

" she is just like her Hunter x Hunter counterpart knowing exactly how our body works and pushing them through their limits."

Koby chuckled weakly, a small smile forming on his lips despite the exhaustion. "Yeah, she's got this built-in 'tough love' mode. I expected her to be tough, but this is on a whole new level."

Te rolled onto his side, wincing as he adjusted his position. "At least we're making progress. I almost feel like I could poke a hole through steel if we keep this up."

Koby raised an eyebrow, still grinning. "And if we're not careful, she'll have us doing sprints up mountains next. I'm already preparing my excuses."

Te laughed softly. "If that happens, I'm calling in sick. Or pretending to be a rock."

Koby grinned. "Sure, and I'll be the one carrying you up the mountain."

Te snorted, shaking his head. "Deal. But only if you don't complain about my 'rock impersonation' skills."

Their laughter was a welcome relief from the aches and fatigue.

----------------------------------------------------------

6 months later

"You boys have grown a lot stronger than I anticipated. So we will be changing things up a bit." Bisky grinned. " You both will be fighting me with everything I taught you."

"Seriously!!" Te in disbelief, he knew he couldn't beat this monster of a woman.

"Mom what is the goal of doing this, we won't stand a chance against you right now."

"Well, this part of training is to give you more freedom and develop your own styles of fighting, and to face an opponent you have no chance of defeating and coming up with tactics to survive as long as possible," bisky explained. " You need to learn how to strategize under pressure and how to make the most of what you've learned. Every month, you'll challenge me either together or solo to test your new skills. The other days will be up to you to hone your abilities on your own."

'My boys are monsters in 6 months they learn every Rokushiki and now their not much I can teach them now except survival, maybe haki but that for later they don't have the will to make it truly effective until they are older.'

The training had been grueling, leaving Te and Koby with no time for anything other than their mother's relentless schedule. Their days had been filled with a rigorous regimen that tested their limits, and their nights were spent recovering and preparing for the next day's challenges.

But the results were phenomenal because they had been relying on Nen for the first 3 years of their life their actual physical strength wasn't much, great for a 3 year old, but not in the great scheme of things.

Now their physical strength had gone through a major transformation thanks to their body skills. Te zenkai was working wonders because Biscuit somehow discovered this weird trait of her son and was pushing his limits to near death. I know sounds crazy but she is a crazy woman when it comes to training her pupils.

Similarly, Koby's body adapted remarkably to the relentless training. Bisky had recognized his body's unique adaptability and exploited it, constantly altering the training regimen to prevent him from growing complacent. She pushed Koby's adaptable body to its limits daily, ensuring that he was always challenged and continually improving.

Each morning, their training began before dawn and continued late into the night. Bisky had tailored their regimen to address every aspect of their development. From mastering the six powers to refining their physical conditioning, nothing was left to chance. She had pushed them to their limits, and often beyond, ensuring that their growth was as rapid and comprehensive as possible.

If Koby and Te were to face Greaves again now, the fight would be drastically different. They were no longer the same inexperienced fighters from six months ago. Their physical strength had increased significantly. The battle against Greaves would now be far more competitive, reflecting the impressive development they had undergone under Bisky's rigorous training.

"Ok you both a free to go. I'll see you in 30 days, but don't forg…" Before Biscuit could finish both the boys had vanished quickly running off from their newfound freedom.

Koby and Te raced through the forest, their bodies a blur as they used Soru to dart from one tree to the next. The dense foliage whipped past them at breakneck speed, their footsteps barely touching the ground.

"Dude, we're like human rockets!" Te shouted over the rush of wind, his voice tinged with excitement.

"Yeah, just try not to blast through any more trees," Koby replied, narrowly dodging a low-hanging branch. "I don't think Bisky would be too happy if we came back with a forest-sized dent in our training grounds."

Te laughed, adjusting his trajectory to avoid a particularly tricky section of underbrush. "Tell me about it. I can only imagine her face when she sees the aftermath."

"Probably something between 'I'm impressed' and 'I'm going to make you run laps around the island,'" Koby said, grinning.

As they reached a particularly wide clearing, Te slowed down just enough to glance at his brother. "Hey, remember when we used to think running was hard? Look at us now!"

Koby smirked, his feet a blur as he continued to accelerate. "I remember. It's almost like a whole new world now. Except with more trees and less breathing room."

Te burst into laughter. "Yeah, and we're still running into the occasional vine. I think we've tripped over more of those than actual obstacles."

"Speak for yourself!" Koby called out, catching his foot on a stray vine and stumbling briefly before catching himself. "I've learned to dodge vines like a pro."

Te pulled ahead slightly, his focus sharp. "Just don't get too cocky. We've still got a whole island to explore, and I'm sure there's more where that came from."

Koby chuckled. "True. And we've still got to figure out how to make the most of our training. Can't wait to see what kind of mischief we can get into."

As they emerged from the forest into a wide open field, they skidded to a halt, panting and laughing. The cool breeze felt refreshing after their high-speed sprint.

"That was amazing!" Te exclaimed, wiping sweat from his brow. "I feel like we've just invented a new sport."

"Yeah, we'll call it 'Extreme Soru,'" Koby said, leaning on his knees to catch his breath. "Definitely a lot more fun than running drills."

Te grinned, stretching his legs. "And probably less painful. At least until Bisky finds out and decides we need more practice."

"True that," Koby agreed, glancing back toward the forest. "But for now, let's enjoy the freedom while we've got it. We've earned it."

Koby and Te had wandered into a secluded part of the island, far from the familiar training grounds. Their eyes gleamed with excitement and a hint of mischief as they began to scout for the perfect spot to build their secret underground lab.

"Alright, this looks like a good spot," Koby said, examining a small hill covered in dense foliage. "It's isolated enough, and the terrain is pretty stable."

Te nodded, peering around with a critical eye. "Yeah, it's perfect. Plus, the trees and rocks here will help conceal any entrances we make. No one will find this place unless they're looking for it."

"Exactly," Koby agreed. "We'll need to dig down a bit and then start setting up our space. If we're lucky, we might even find some natural caves to work with."

Te grinned, pulling out a small, compact shovel from his bag. "Let's get started. The sooner we begin, the sooner we can start working on our inventions."

The boys began to dig with enthusiasm, their Nen-enhanced strength making the task easier than it would have been for most. The process was swift, and soon they had a sizable hole in the ground.

As they dug deeper, Koby looked at Te, a mischievous smile on his face. "You know, we should come up with a name for this place. Something cool and secretive."

"Like what?" Te asked, wiping sweat from his brow.

"I don't know, something like 'The Lab of Shadows' or 'The Hidden Haven,'" Koby suggested.

"'The Lab of Shadows' sounds pretty intense," Te said, chuckling. "But 'The Hidden Haven' has a nice ring to it. It sounds like a place where we can create amazing stuff without anyone bothering us."

"Alright, 'The Hidden Haven' it is," Koby agreed. "Now let's get to making it comfortable and functional."

They continued digging, eventually finding a small underground cavern that seemed perfect for their needs. With their Nen abilities, they shaped and expanded the space to their liking, creating a sizable room with enough room for their equipment and experiments.

Once they were satisfied with the size of their new lab, they began to furnish it. Koby used his Elemental Mimicry to reinforce the walls and ceiling, making the space sturdy and secure. Te set up makeshift workbenches and shelves, using various materials they had gathered from around the island.

After a few hours of hard work, they finally stepped back to admire their creation. The Hidden Haven was now a functional lab, complete with areas for experimentation, storage, and a small living space.

"Looks pretty good if I do say so myself," Te said, dusting off his hands.

"Yeah, this is awesome," Koby agreed, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Now we can start working on all our ideas without any interruptions."

Te nodded, a satisfied grin on his face. "Definitely. And the best part is, it's all ours. No one will find this place unless we want them to."

"Exactly," Koby said, clapping his brother on the back. "Let's get started on our projects. We've got a lot of work to do."
