Chapter 3 - chapter 3

They continued digging, eventually finding a small underground cavern that seemed perfect for their needs. With their Nen abilities, they shaped and expanded the space to their liking, creating a sizable room with enough room for their equipment and experiments.

Once they were satisfied with the size of their new lab, they began to furnish it. Koby used his Elemental Mimicry to reinforce the walls and ceiling, making the space sturdy and secure. Te set up makeshift workbenches and shelves, using various materials they had gathered from around the island.

After a few hours of hard work, they finally stepped back to admire their creation. The Hidden Haven was now a functional lab, complete with areas for experimentation, storage, and a small living space.

"Looks pretty good if I do say so myself," Te said, dusting off his hands.

"Yeah, this is awesome," Koby agreed, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Now we can start working on all our ideas without any interruptions."

Te nodded, a satisfied grin on his face. "Definitely. And the best part is, it's all ours. No one will find this place unless we want them to."

"Exactly," Koby said, clapping his brother on the back. "Let's get started on our projects. We've got a lot of work to do."

"So Ko what's the first thing you are trying to build"

"Mmmm well, first I'll try to build a gravity room I've always wanted to try it. Then maybe a small boat" koby responded.

"Knowing you I know you will take it a little far anyway," Te commented. " I was thinking of making some super soldier serum, it probably won't be as effective in this world, but it could help those we meet along the way for a quick power up."

Koby's eyes gleamed with inspiration "Damn man that actually pretty smart maybe I should make an exo skeleton!!"

Te chuckled at Koby's enthusiasm. "Just let me know the material you need and I'll try to make them with the philosopher's stone."

Koby clapped his hands together, clearly fired up. "Alright, let's get to work then. We've got a lot of experimenting to do."

"Just don't blow us up, okay?" Te joked, though there was a hint of seriousness in his tone.

"No promises," Koby replied with a laugh, already turning to grab some tools. "But seriously, let's make sure this place is as secure as possible. I don't want any accidents setting us back."

"Agreed," Te said, his expression growing determined. "We're going to turn this lab into the foundation of something incredible."

Te and Koby's enthusiasm was palpable as they started organizing their new underground lab. The space, hidden deep beneath the forest, was their secret haven—an untouched place where their creativity could run wild.

---------------------------------

30 days later the day of the fight.

in an open clearing deep within the forest, Te and Koby stood side by side, their expressions a mix of determination and anticipation. The past month had been intense, not only because of their training but also due to the secret lab they had been tirelessly building. Now, it was time to put everything to the test.

Bisky stood across from them, her stance relaxed yet commanding. The air around her seemed to hum with power, a constant reminder of the gap between them and their mother.

"You've had a month to prepare," Bisky said, her voice carrying a hint of challenge. "I hope you've used it wisely. Today's fight will show me just how far you've come."

Te and Koby exchanged a glance, knowing exactly what the other was thinking. It is time to put the things they practiced over the last. Even with their newfound freedom from bisky training, the boys never stop trying to improve themselves, even when busy with their experiments in their secret lab.

Koby and Te both let out a deep breath, preparing their mind for the moment.

The next second they both release their Ken to the absolute apex they muster. They didn't plan on using their hatsu, but they be damned if they didn't use their nen to protect their bodies from their insane mother."

Bisky's eyes narrowed as she took in their stances. "Remember, this is not about winning or losing. It's about surviving against an opponent stronger than you. Show me what you've got."

Without another word, the boys launched towards bisky. Koby and Te didn't even use soru but were much faster than they were 30 days ago. Appearing on both sides of bisky they each release a fierce assault on Bisky

For a brief moment, Bisky was taken aback by their speed. But her surprise quickly vanished, replaced by a focused determination. She effortlessly grabbed each of their wrists, her grip like iron, and with a swift, fluid motion, she swung them around in a wide arc, using their momentum against them.

Te and Koby were sent flying in opposite directions, the force of Bisky's throw powerful enough to send them careening through the air. As Te hurtled away, Bisky instantly focused on Koby, her body a blur as she rushed toward him, not giving him a moment to recover. The speed of her movement left Te to continue his airborne journey undisturbed, while Koby found himself suddenly face-to-face with his mother's unrelenting assault.

'FUCK WHY SHE CHOOSE ME' Koby screamed in his mind, panic setting in as Bisky closed the distance between them.

Koby barely had time to brace himself as Bisky closed the distance between them. He instinctively reinforced his Ken, knowing he'd need every ounce of it to withstand what was coming. Bisky's fist shot forward like a cannon, and Koby managed to deflect the blow just enough to avoid serious injury, though the force still sent him skidding backward, his feet digging into the ground to stop his momentum.

"Not bad." Bisky remarked, her smirk growing into a devilish grin.. " But still not good enough."

*Woosh*

With a speed that left Koby reeling, Bisky blitzed toward him again, her form becoming a blur before she appeared directly in front of him. Before Koby could react, she delivered a powerful open palm strike to his gut, causing him to double over and cough up spit. The pain was immediate, but he barely had time to register it before Bisky followed up with another open palm strike, this time under his chin.

The force of the blow lifted Koby off his feet, sending him flipping backward through the air.

Te, who had finally regained his bearings after being sent flying earlier, spotted his brother in trouble. Without wasting a second, Te pushed his body to its limits, using his top speed to rush toward Bisky.

Te's feet barely touched the ground as he shot forward, his focus entirely on closing the distance between him and his mother before she could land another devastating blow on Koby. The air whipped past him as he moved, the forest blurring around him.

'Man she not holding back is she.' Te thought.

Bisky, however, sensed Te's approach long before he reached her. She glanced over her shoulder, a satisfied smile forming on her lips. "There you are, Te. Let's see what you've got."

Just as Koby was about to hit the ground, Te appeared between him and Bisky, his arm already in motion. With a swift and powerful kick, Te aimed directly at Bisky's side, hoping to catch her off guard.

But Bisky was ready. She swiftly raised her arm, blocking Te's kick with ease. The impact sent a shockwave through the clearing, but Bisky stood firm, not even flinching.

"Good effort," she said with a calm tone. "But you'll need to be faster if you want to surprise me."

Te gritted his teeth, feeling the sting of the blocked attack reverberate through his leg. "I'm just getting started!" he declared, refusing to back down. He quickly followed up with a series of rapid punches and kicks, each one delivered with precision and force.

Bisky expertly deflected or dodged each of Te's strikes, her movements fluid and almost effortless. Despite his best efforts, Te couldn't land a clean hit.

Meanwhile, Koby, still recovering from the earlier assault, watched from the ground, frustration warring within him.

"Time to cut you off, Mom," Koby muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing with focus.

With a swift motion, Koby unleashed a barrage of Rankyaku—compressed air blades fired off from his legs. Each blade cut through the air with a sharp whistling sound, precisely aimed to intercept Bisky's movements. His intent was clear: to limit her ability to dodge and give Te a better chance at landing a blow.

Bisky's eyes flicked to the incoming air blades, her smile never wavering. "Nice coordination," she remarked, acknowledging their teamwork. With a series of swift, graceful movements, she began evading the blades, but the sheer volume of Koby's attack forced her to alter her rhythm.

Te seized the opportunity. As Bisky shifted her focus to avoiding Koby's Rankyaku, he closed the distance, his fist cocked back for a powerful punch. With a surge of adrenaline, he aimed for her midsection, hoping to finally land a solid hit.

But Bisky was not so easily caught off guard. Just as Te's fist was about to connect, she twisted her body, narrowly avoiding the strike. She grabbed Te's arm mid-punch, using his own momentum against him to flip him over her shoulder and slam him into the ground.

Koby's eyes widened in shock as he saw Te hit the dirt. "Te!" he shouted, his voice filled with concern.

Before Koby could react further, Bisky turned her attention back to him. With a fluid motion, she deflected the remaining Rankyaku with a flick of her wrist, the air blades scattering harmlessly into the surrounding trees.

"Good strategy," Bisky said, her tone approving yet firm. "But you're still too predictable."

"We're not done yet," Te growled, wiping a bit of dirt off his face.

Koby nodded in agreement. "Not by a long shot."

Te and Koby shared a brief look of determination, the fire in their eyes rekindling. They knew Bisky was leagues ahead of them in skill and experience, but the last six months of brutal training had taught them resilience. They weren't about to give up now.

"Let's try something different," Koby said, his voice low but charged with energy.

Te nodded, understanding immediately. They didn't need to exchange words to know what the other was thinking—this was the bond they'd built through countless hours of training together.

Koby charged forward, his footfalls silent as he rapidly closed the distance between himself and Bisky. Te moved in tandem, slightly behind Koby, ready to capitalize on any opening that presented itself.

Bisky watched their approach, her stance relaxed but ready. She could see the subtle shift in their strategy, how they were now moving as a single unit rather than two individuals. It was a sign of their growth, but still, she knew they had a long way to go.

Koby reached her first, feinting a punch aimed at her face before suddenly dropping low to deliver a sweeping kick toward her legs. At the same moment, Te sprang over Koby, coming down with a powerful axe kick aimed directly at Bisky's head.

Bisky's eyes flashed with approval as she moved to counter. She leaped gracefully into the air, avoiding Koby's sweep and catching Te's descending kick with her forearm. With a quick twist, she flipped Te backward, but this time he managed to land on his feet, skidding back but maintaining his balance.

Koby used the opening created by Te's attack to follow up with a series of rapid Shigan thrusts, aiming for Bisky's midsection. His fingers moved like bullets, each thrust packed with speed and precision.

Bisky's body blurred as she deftly dodged each thrust, her movements almost too fast to track. She allowed Koby to get close, and just as he committed to a particularly strong thrust, she sidestepped and caught his arm, pulling him into a judo-style throw.

Koby hit the ground hard, but before Bisky could press her advantage, Te was already on her. He unleashed a fierce barrage of punches, his fists a blur as he used Soru to keep up with her movements.

Bisky was impressed. Their teamwork was becoming more fluid, their attacks more coordinated. But she wasn't done testing them yet.

With a swift movement, she caught Te's fist in her palm, absorbing the impact with a small grunt. Before he could react, she twisted his arm and used his momentum to swing him toward Koby, who had just gotten back to his feet.

Te!" Koby shouted, reacting just in time to catch his brother and break his fall. The two of them tumbled across the ground, but quickly scrambled back to their feet, panting but ready for more.

"Okay, new rule," Te gasped, a smirk playing on his lips despite the situation. "No more throwing me at Koby."

Koby snorted, his own grin breaking through. "Deal. But you've got to stop being so throwable."

Bisky chuckled at their banter, but her tone remained serious. "You're getting better, but you could still improve. If you want to stand a chance, you need to push past your limits."

The air around them grew tense as Te and Koby focused all their energy into the next attack. Their Nen flared, swirling around them like an invisible storm, and for a brief moment, the forest clearing was silent except for the rustling of leaves in the wind. Even the birds seemed to sense the intensity of the upcoming clash, their songs fading into the distance.

Bisky stood her ground, her posture relaxed but her eyes sharp, ready for whatever they would throw at her. She had trained them hard, pushing their bodies and minds to the brink, and now it was time to see how much they had truly absorbed.

Te took the lead this time, his eyes locked on Bisky as he began to channel his energy into his legs. With a sudden burst of speed, he shot forward, using Soru to close the gap in an instant. But instead of attacking directly, he disappeared from Bisky's sight, reappearing above her with a downward kick aimed at her shoulder.

Bisky moved to counter, but at that precise moment, Koby came in low, his fingers glowing with the energy of Shigan as he targeted her midsection. It was a well-timed pincer attack, designed to split her focus and leave her vulnerable.

But Bisky was no ordinary opponent. With a fluid motion, she sidestepped Koby's thrust while simultaneously raising her arm to block Te's kick. The force of the kick reverberated through her arm, but she absorbed it with ease, her expression still calm.

She pivoted on her heel, using Te's momentum to throw him off balance while bringing her leg up in a swift arc aimed at Koby's head. Koby ducked just in time, the wind from her kick brushing past his hair. He retaliated with a quick series of Rankyaku, sending sharp air blades toward her from close range.

Bisky smiled as she dodged the first few blades, then suddenly stepped into Koby's range, disrupting his rhythm. With a quick jab, she aimed a punch at his chest, but Te, regaining his balance, came in from the side, catching her fist with both hands. The impact sent a shockwave through his arms, but he held on, using every ounce of strength he had to stop her.

"Gotcha!" Te grinned, but Bisky's smile only widened.

"Not quite," she said, and with a flick of her wrist, she twisted her hand free and delivered a powerful open-palm strike to Te's chest, sending him skidding back across the ground. She followed up by spinning around and delivering a backhand to Koby, who had tried to take advantage of the distraction. The force sent Koby crashing into a nearby tree, the trunk splintering on impact.

Despite the pain, Koby forced himself back up, his body aching but his determination unshaken. "She's still way too strong," he muttered, rubbing his bruised jaw. "But we're not done yet."

Te, wincing as he clutched his chest, nodded in agreement. "Right. We just need to keep pushing."

Bisky watched them with a mixture of pride and amusement. They were beaten and bruised, but not broken. Their willpower was impressive, and it was exactly what she had hoped to instill in them.

"Alright, boys," she called out, her tone more serious now. "This next part is crucial. If you have any hope of beating me you will need to focus that willpower into your attacks."

Koby and Te both raised an eyebrow, ' is she talking about haki.'

Listening to her words they both closed focusing on one thing, one goal, one outcome, the only outcome, beating her. Steeling their resolve for the clash because they knew it would be their last, as their bodies were beaten and broken.

Even with the few blows Bisky landed they were strong and standing up was pushing past their limits at this moment.

Bisky watched them with a keen eye, recognizing the shift in their demeanor. She could sense the change—the sharpening of their will, the fierce determination that now emanated from them like a palpable force. "Good," she thought, her heart swelling with pride. "They're beginning to understand."

Koby and Te locked eyes, a silent understanding passing between them. They had to channel everything they had learned, everything they had endured, into this final attack. They had to push beyond their physical limits, tap into the deepest reserves of their willpower, and manifest it into something tangible—something that could tip the scales in their favor.

Bisky's words echoed in their minds: "Focus that willpower into your attacks." They both knew what she meant, even if she hadn't explicitly said it. Haki—the manifestation of one's willpower.

Te was the first to act, clenching his fists as he focused on the idea of victory, of overcoming the insurmountable obstacle that was their mother. He felt a warmth spreading from his core, traveling down his arms and pooling in his hands. His fists tingled as if they were charged with a newfound energy, and he knew this was it—the first stirrings of Haki.

Koby, on the other hand, focused on defense, on enduring whatever Bisky threw at them. His body was already adapting, pushing past its previous limits, and now he had to take it a step further. He concentrated on reinforcing his body, imagining an impenetrable shield surrounding him, protecting him from harm. He felt a similar warmth, a hardening of his skin, and knew he was on the right track.

"Ready?" Te asked, his voice steady despite the exhaustion.

"Yeah," Koby replied, his tone resolute. "Let's do this."

Without another word, they both launched themselves at Bisky, moving faster than they ever had before. Te led the charge, his fists glowing faintly as he prepared to strike. He aimed a powerful punch at Bisky's midsection, pouring all his willpower into the blow.

Bisky saw the punch coming, but there was something different about it this time. She could feel the force behind it—the determination, the raw willpower driving it forward. She braced herself, meeting his punch with her own reinforced arm.

The impact was tremendous, the ground beneath them cracking from the force of the clash. Te gritted his teeth, pushing harder, trying to break through her defense.

At the same time, Koby circled around, aiming for her blind spot. He struck out with a series of precise Shigan attacks, each one reinforced with his growing willpower. Bisky, occupied with Te's assault, had to split her focus, but even so, she managed to deflect most of Koby's strikes.

But not all of them.

One of Koby's Shigan punches connected with her side, and she felt a sharp pain—a clear sign that his attacks were starting to penetrate her defenses.

"Impressive," Bisky thought, but she wasn't about to let up.

With a sudden burst of speed, she twisted away from Te's punch and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick aimed at both boys. They managed to block it, but the force sent them skidding backward, their feet digging into the earth as they struggled to stay upright.

Bisky watched them with a mix of pride and anticipation. She could see their growth, their tenacity, and their resolve. "Alright, boys," she said, her voice steady. "That's enough for today. You've made significant progress. But remember, this is just the beginning. Keep pushing yourselves, and you'll continue to grow stronger."

Those words were all the boys needed to hear before collapsing on the ground and passing out.

Bisky watched with a satisfied, if somewhat amused, expression as Te and Koby collapsed onto the ground, utterly spent from the grueling training session. The fierce determination in their eyes was now replaced by exhaustion, their bodies barely able to move.

"Maybe I took it to far this time," bisky chuckled to herself.

'Who knew they would awaken actually haki so early I threw those words out there to sound like an old master but they hung on to words for dear life and actually broke past their limits'

Bisky then stood up, stretching slightly, the day's training having taken its toll on her as well. Her thoughts turned to their next session, contemplating how to further push their limits while still keeping their well-being in mind.

"Rest up, boys," she said softly as she walked away, leaving them to recover in the clearing. "We've got a long road ahead, and I want you both to be ready for it."

As Bisky left, the forest seemed to settle back into its usual quiet, the echoes of intense training gradually fading into the distance.

(yes she left them in the forest passed out)

s the first rays of dawn pierced through the dense canopy of the forest, the warm light gradually began to filter into the clearing where Te and Koby lay unconscious. The gentle rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of birds were the first things to stir them from their deep slumber.

Te was the first to awaken, his eyes fluttering open as he blinked groggily at the unfamiliar surroundings. He winced as he tried to move, feeling the soreness throughout his body. The memory of the intense training session came rushing back, and he groaned, struggling to sit up.

"Koby…" he muttered, rubbing his aching head and looking around for his brother.

Koby, still lying on the ground nearby, stirred at the sound of Te's voice. He groaned and slowly sat up, shaking off the remnants of unconsciousness. As he looked around, he saw the same forest clearing, now bathed in the soft glow of morning light.

"Te?" Koby asked, his voice rough but filled with concern. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just sore all over," Te replied, stretching his limbs and wincing slightly. "You?"

"Same here," Koby said, pushing himself to his feet. "Let's get back to the lab. We need to check on things and recover."

The two brothers helped each other up, their movements slow and careful. Despite the exhaustion and aches, they shared a look of mutual understanding and determination. They had pushed themselves to their limits, but they were ready to continue their journey.

Te and Koby began the trek back to their secret lab, moving with a deliberate pace to avoid aggravating their injuries. The forest path was familiar to them now, each step bringing them closer to their sanctuary where they could rest and recuperate.

As they walked, the conversation turned to the training session.

"That was insane," Te said, shaking his head. "I didn't think we'd be pushed that far."

"Yeah, but we did manage to get some hits in," Koby replied

"Yeah cause she let us only after showing her glimpse of haki."

Koby nodded, his expression thoughtful. "It's clear we're not there yet, but we're getting closer. It was like she was testing us to see if we could even begin to approach her level."

"Which is insane by the way we are only 4 years old!!"

" Didn't Garp throw Luffy into the forest when he was five," koby reminded. " And now we're much stronger than because of it."

"I guess that the only Brightside knowing there are other kids suffering like us"

"NO, idiot. The Brightside is we are stronger because of it, and we are no kids, we are adults in kids bodies."

"Pause man sounding a little pedo-ish"

"Bro leave me alone and let me lick my wounds," Koby said with a groan, rolling his eyes.

As they approached the hidden entrance to their lab, the familiar surroundings offered a sense of relief. Koby deactivated the security system, and the entrance slid open, revealing the cool, welcoming interior of their sanctuary.

Koby and te had built the same recovery pods from the anime Dragon Ball Z and now were happy because of it.The sleek, high-tech design of the pods gleamed under the lab's lights, and Koby and Te felt a sense of accomplishment at seeing them finally completed.

"Man, I'm so glad we got these done," Te said, a hint of exhaustion still in his voice. "These things are going to be a lifesaver."

"Absolutely," Koby agreed, rubbing his sore muscles as he activated one of the pods. "After today, we're going to need all the recovery we can get."

The pods hummed to life, their interiors glowing softly as they prepared for use. Te and Koby stepped inside one of the pods each, the soothing warmth enveloping them as the advanced technology began its work. The feeling of relief was almost immediate, their bodies slowly recovering from the intense training session.

As the pods continued their work, the lab fell into a peaceful silence, the only sounds being the soft hum of the machinery and the occasional rustle of the forest outside. Te and Koby, now fully immersed in their recovery, let the fatigue wash over them, their thoughts drifting to the future and the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
