As they walked down the hospital hallways, the quiet atmosphere hummed with the low beeping of distant monitors. The sterile scent of antiseptics filled the air, and their footsteps echoed against the cold, polished floor. Sirius glanced over at Aurelia, who had her gaze fixed ahead, her face partially obscured by her long silver hair.
"So, what brought you back here?" Sirius asked, his voice calm but curious. "Last I heard, you'd been transported to another hospital, in another city no less."
Aurelia sighed softly, her eyes dropping to the floor as a faint blush crept over her cheeks. "Yeah... That was my dad's doing," she muttered, visibly embarrassed. "He's a worrywart. My injuries weren't nearly as bad as yours or Xander's, but he insisted I get the best possible treatment."
She paused, then added with a small smile, "He even went as far as to send me to Crestmoor."
