Sirius walked home, feeling a heavy sense of mental exhaustion. Xander had bombarded him with questions for hours, some predictable, while others touched on surprisingly deep topics Sirius hadn't considered himself. Still, he was content that he had managed to convince Xander to join him in the pursuit of becoming a mage. They agreed to wait until Xander was discharged from the hospital before starting his training.
As Sirius pondered how he would teach Xander the cultivation methods he had received from Dreaming Flame, the buzz of his phone interrupted his thoughts. He glanced at the screen. It was a message from Aurelia, asking to meet him at the nearby park.
"Huh, what could she want?" Sirius muttered to himself, searching for a reason behind the sudden request. Nothing immediately came to mind, but since the park was on his way home, he shrugged and decided to take a quick detour.
