Chapter 22 - Ch 22: Starting the Revenge Plan

The disciples who had slaughtered his village and had brought him to this demonic sect were outer sect disciples and Li Feng knew about it. But as a new disciple, he had no idea in which part of the outer sect did they live or with which halls were they connected too. These were very common information that the other disciples of their same levels knew about but Li Feng had no way to learn it from them.

That was the reason he had to get this information from the Yinshu Pavilion. He just needed the information about the few people who had destroyed his village but as to not raise any suspicions he ended up buying information about all the known late stage disciples of the outer sect. As a gesture of goodwill, he was also given information about the mid stage disciples for free.

From this information, Li Feng was able to find out that the group that had attacked his village, only one person was at the late stage and he was the team leader. The other disciples who were with him were all either mid or early stage disciples.

This leader's name was Gu Ming and he had reached the 7th level of Qi gathering just a few months ago. He was among the outer sect disciples with above average talent and had some hope of reaching the foundation establishment realm. So he had a chance of joining the inner sect in the future.

For that reason, the treatment he enjoyed from the sect was also quite good. He was a part of the Blood Fighter Hall which only accepted disciples with decent combat talents. The hall which accepted combat loving disciples had the most members but this Blood Fighter hall was top class even among those types of halls.

So this Gu Ming fellow had a higher position in the sect than Li Feng expected. This made his plan to take revenge harder but obviously he was not planning to give up anytime soon. Now that he at least knew where this person lived, he would be able to keep an eye on him for an opportunity. Li Feng was way stronger than him for sure so killing him was not a problem. The main thing Li Feng needed to be careful about was to not get suspected as his killer.

For the time being Li Feng was unable to directly kill him so he decided to take care of one another easier target. This was one of the female disciples who was also a part of the group that had attacked Li Feng's village. The main reason why Li Feng was targeting her first was because she was the person who had actually killed his parents.

Li Feng did not buy any detailed information about her but as she was closely associated with Gu Ming, a little bit about her was written in the report. From that Li Feng learnt that she was a cultivator of 5th level Qi gathering so spying on her should be easy.

As for who was going to do this dangerous job, Li Feng had a perfect solution in mind. At first Yue had shown her willingness to take on this role as she was suitable for this job with her Phantom World. But Rein had shot her down as she was extremely valuable and if she revealed herself to the public in some unforeseen situation, then that would be dangerous for both her and Li Feng.

After living with her for almost a month, Li Feng had become very fond of her. In this dangerous place she was the only person he was able to completely trust so obviously they had become closer to each other. So Li Feng had no intention of putting her in such a danger.

Instead in the last month, other than cultivating, he had also managed to learn another skill from the Blood God Divine Scripture. This skill was named "Myriad Blood Clones" and it allowed him to turn drops of his blood into small clones capable of gathering information.

It was a rather high ranking technique that was quite difficult to master. But with his impressive comprehension, Li Feng had managed to learn it without much trouble. The combat abilities of these blood clones were non existent but because they were so small and had almost no presence, they were perfect for espionage and that kind of activities.

Currently Li Feng was trying to learn one another skill but that skill was as hard to master as Crimson Teleportation, so he still had not managed to perfect it. But he was getting close and it would soon become a very powerful trump card for him in the future.

...

The next day, Li Feng went to the general affairs hall to report his success in sensing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. That way Li Feng had now officially become a demonic cultivator of the Blood Sea sect. He needed to participate in the next disciple testing session and he would also be able to take more lucrative missions from the mission hall.

As a reward for sensing the spiritual energy rather quickly, Li Feng was given a few rewards. Among them the most valuable reward was the opportunity to enter the Scripture hall to get one technique of his choice for free. This was a valuable opportunity as the contribution points needed to get a technique from the scripture pavilion was very high so most of the disciples would not be able to afford entering this hall a second time.

Other than that Li Feng was also given some pills and two blood stones. This was not a big amount but still many senior disciples would want to snatch this from him. So Li Feng needed to be cautious from now on.

...

After becoming an official disciple, Li Feng immediately went to the mission hall to learn about the available mission that he would be able to accept. Mainly Li Feng wanted to find a mission to go out of the sect.

But unfortunately to take on a mission which involved going out, he either had to be at least a mid stage cultivator or needed to join a team with at least a mid stage cultivator in it. So it looked like Li Feng would not be able to leave this sect for the time being.

So after learning about the missions which he was able to accept, he returned back to his home without taking on any for the time being. He needed some time to choose the best possible one.
