My once in a lifetime

She is called Amitaro. She loves music and a little bit of everything, Jack of all trades you can say. Her life revolved around the comfort of the space she created for herself. She did have friends, a great family and an interesting life but she was a loner at the end of the day. This story is about a young girl who saves everyone but loses herself.

It was a warm evening. My childhood was the last era where we saw abundant fireflies, stars so bright and scenery so green. I have two loving brothers, me being the middle child. I grew up in a very sophisticated environment and society where if you're not the FIRST, you're NOTHING. The only junk food we ate was polluted air. Me and my brothers didn't struggle through that stereotype because we somehow lived up to it and instead raised the bars higher for the other kids. Well anyway, I was out for a walk with my family. We held hands and sang some sunday school songs on the way. It was so fun that it made me scared of how this will eventually end. I looked at my parents and my brothers and teared up for after all we are all just humans whose dead bodies will be food for the worms. The thought of worms feasting on my family's bodies was perhaps the first time i started questioning about the fairness of the world. I immediately thought why did i have to be born to witness such cruel truths. Why can't my parents be young forever? The visual of wrinkles on my mother's hands deeply grieved me. I couldn't take it so I withdrew myself from such thoughts and just moved on. 

I met my best friend when i was five. She had just moved in from a different city. We quickly snapped maybe because we were of the same age or maybe because my parents let me befriend someone for the first time LOL. We took on the entire journey together until she moved away 11 years later. That's when I moved out for my higher studies and met so many new people that i still struggle to call 'friends'. The character development henceforth is INSANE!
