Rache's body shook, her breathing coming in shallow pants. Her skin burned with fever, her eyes glazed over and unfocused.
Her chest hurt, her head ached.
"Drink." A voice commanded her. She blinked, her vision blurring for a moment. Someone held a glass of water to her lips, tilting her head up slightly and helping her to swallow the cool liquid.
Rache didn't know how long she'd been unconscious, but it must have been a long time, judging by how dry and parched she was.
She coughed as the cool liquid washed over her throat and soothed the burning sensation.
It made her shiver and shake, but it was a relief. The coolness helped ease the fever and her aching body.
When she'd had enough to drink, the hand moved away from the cup and the person who had held it stepped back.
"How do you feel?" The voice asked. It sounded familiar.
Rache blinked, trying to focus.
