My Strength and Agility increased by 0.1 each.
Willpower seemed to have increased by 0.2 aswell.
'I have 16,000 points left but buying a skill or talent is not a viable option as a decent one costs much more than that, it wouldn't be worth it.'
An idea sparked in my mind.
'How about stats then?'
Immediately I tried increasing my Luminous Flame stat from 3.3 to 6.0

"It worked?"
My eyes widened. If this worked, what I should do next was obvious. I had to convert the points into SP and invest stats. The question was which: Willpower, Strength, Stamina, Agility, luck, or Luminous flame? Luminous flame wasn't an option as it would cost too much and I could train to increase. Strength, Stamina and Agility also fell under the category of being easily increased through training.
'So the only remaining options would be Luck and Willpower.'
"Luck it is."
I knew all too well the importance of luck in this world and recalled a description of luck from the game.

"9.1 is the highest I can go, huh."
Since 9 was the limit for humans, 9.1 was nigh impossible to get by normal means.
I hit 'Y' without even a bit of regret.

Now I was satisfied, but I didn't feel any changes yet. The normal stat for an average person was 2.5 and 4 would be a talented individual. I would become just as overpowered as the main character by simply increasing my Luck whenever I gained Points. Immediately after such a blissful thought…

A warning window popped up and shut down my plans.
"Hmmm."
It displeased me, but I had no choice. Nothing would change even if I argued with the air. Plus, I already increased my luck and got what I wanted.
"Whatever."
'Well, there are many ways to get stronger.'
There was no need to obsess over just this. I shook it off and sat on my bed
I closed my eyes and focused.
To sense the energy of the Luminous Flame that had settled inside my body.
'It feels like something is there.'
It was warm, I felt a strange power flowing inside me.
That power moved according to my will.
This was the energy of the Luminous Flame, the power of purity and flames.
'Now to use it properly'
I started gathering it all together at my heart, my chest slowly started heating up as I gathered the energy of the Luminous Flame.
But the next moment I let it loose again.
Over and over again I kept on gathering and releasing the energy of the Luminous Flame at my heart and eventually,
The energy of the Luminous Flame formed a center at my heart, As I took a deep breath I absorbed the ambient mana in the air into my body and purified it to use as fuel to grow the energy of the Luminous Flame bigger.
Slowly more and more of the energy of the Luminous Flame converged around my heart settling into the blood vessels connected to the heart. It formed a small star in my heart.
The energy of the Luminous Flame began flowing back out along with my blood along with my blood
I concentrated all my attention on memorizing the flow of the energy, As I breathed in more mana I guided the inhaled mana into my heart to use as fuel for the energy of the Luminous Flame.
With each breath that I took, more and more mana was being absorbed into me at least until my body reached its limit. Having just started cultivating the energy of the Luminous Flame my body had not grown fully accustomed to it yet, thus there was a tight limit to the amount of the energy of the Luminous Flame my body could accept.
'It looks like I still have limits even with the elixir.'
After being immersed in concentration for quite some time. I released a long sigh as I opened my eyes. My whole body felt sticky from being drenched in sweat.
Although I was weak now, as I grew, the energy of the Luminous Flame would become a force beyond imagination.
"I feel a bit dizzy."
It was a pity.
If I had a stronger body, I could have done more, but without it, this was my limit. It was a shame.

I was about to fall on my bed and fall asleep but I felt a sticky feeling throughout my body.
Realizing that it was sweat I headed to the bathroom once again.
After returning I promptly fell on my bed.
