Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 26: POWERLESS

There was a shaking in the clouds above Back Louhia. The skies rumbled with thunder. The rift in the sky suddenly started shrinking. The people noticed it and a small hint of glee entered their hearts. They thought they could be free from this hellish landscape. It shrunk so much that it couldn't be seen anymore. The happiness grew. Suddenly, a loud sound was heard. The clouds parted and they saw the moon for the first time since a strange light burst through the clouds. Shouts of joy filled the air. They believed that the hell that they had been put to had finally stopped. Celebrations could be heard in the desolate streets that were somehow filled with people.
