A huge roar had bellowed the riverbed
Bambi had already released one of her stolen Bankais, Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō
Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō is a Bankai of living armor. Standing at about a hundred meters tall, the giant resembles an armored samurai. It wields a sword with a guard similar to what Komamura had used, but with a different blade and a string hanging from the hilt.
During their invasion at Seireitei, she's one of the four people who have stolen a Gotei 13 Captain's Bankai, courtesy of a medallion their fellow Sternritter BG9 had created.
"Thanks to you I never got a chance to be familiar with what I took from Doggy-chan" Bambi exhaustingly scoffed at Mercer, complaining how she didn't even get to train how to use it's Bankai
It's not that much, but I hope it's enough to keep this guy at bay.
Radiating an energy similar to its original user, Bambi swings her sword at Mercer. The giant armor imitates her motion and drops its huge sword on top of him
"WHOAAH, Is this giant for real?" Mercer immediately reacted as he leapt away from the path of the giant's slash
Buildings caught by the attack had turned into a pile of rubble.
"Ohhh, so that's how Doggy uses it's Bankai. Guess it's practical then" Bambi was amazed at how the bankai works. She then turned to Mercer and taunted him with a sinister smile
"Oi smirky creature, come out and fight like a man, or are you in awe at what this bankai can do"
"Ha! It's not even yours to begin with. From the looks of it, seems like you're the one cowering behind that living junk" He shot back with an insult of his own
"Tch, keep running your mouth. You'll be dead meat before you could even get closer to me"
Deep within her thoughts, Bambi was at her wit's end. Flaunting the Bankai at him was her last resort. She's too exhausted to unleash her Völlstandig. If he ever scratches one on her medallion, she's done for.
For Mercer, however, this was nothing more than a trip down to Memory Lane
When was the last time I fought something so big?
Oh yeah, right...
He reminisces the time when he had fought Elizabeth Greene.
Elizabeth Greene was a woman infected with the original strain, the Redlight virus, in which she was the sole survivor or a military-controlled outbreak in Hope, Idaho. Initially contained by Gentek, a then-amnesiac Mercer freed her in hopes of learning his past identity, only to escape his clutches before wreaking havoc over New York.
He observed the giant armor as he tries to evade its attacks
Looks obviously humanoid in form, but it doesn't complements the user. From the soul reaper I consumed, there were people like her who can steal a 'bankai' or whatever they call it.
He then observed Bambietta, who's been remotely controlling the bankai's movements
It looks very deadly at the hands of someone who's used to it for centuries. If anyone else like her, it can be a double-edged sword for them. Seems like she never got to do homework on how to use the giant.
He then drew comparison between Bambi and Greene, who had also turned into a gigantic organism half as big as the armor.
Finally he reached a plausible conclusion and moved on to his plan
Having figured out Bambi's inexperience with controlling the armor, he moved towards a pile of huge rubble from a ruined building.
"Where are you headed, now? Too scared to die?" Bambi taunts as she notices where Mercer was going
"It doesn't matter anymore. I'm the one with the big armor, so I get to squash you like the bug you are"
Using his musclemass, he lifted a huge pile of rubble and hurled it towards them
"So we're playing catch now, too bad they're nothing but easy targets"
Bambi directs the armor to swat away the huge rubble, causing it to disintegrate into smaller chunks and dust.
"HEY, CATCH"
Just as she was done with one, another rubble was sent hurling towards them from the right. As usual, she simply swatted it off like a bug, leaving slag and dust.
Then another came out
And then another...
And then another...
For a moment, it turned into a child's play with all the rubble thrown at the living armor, and Bambi's attempt at destroying them
Right now, she's covered in concrete dust. Some of it went into her that she had to cough them out
"You fucking bastard, toying me like a child with that little game of yours. I'm going to get my hands on you when the dust settles..."
...
Dust? Wait a second...
Whatever she said, somehow made her realize what he was trying to do
Before she could even notice, she's surrounded in a cloud of thick dust from all the debris she smashed.
In other words, she can't see a single thing.
If that's what you want to do, then I won't let you
She controls the armor to clear everything blocking her sight, starting with a clean slash through the air.
Very smart of you to figure out what I intend to do. Unfortunately, you're a bit too late to do anything about it.
The moment she cleared the dust obscuring her line of sight, a column of dark spikes emerge from the ground, all lined up towards a single target; Bambi herself.
She instinctively backed away from the spikes that were trying to impale her
"Too bad, you missed"
Mercer was out of her sight.
Where? Where's he going to attack?
"HEADS UP"
The moment he called out Bambi, he was already descending down at a faster rate, both arms transformed into Hammerfists. He had used the cover to gain enough altitude for a Hammerfist Elbow Drop, not too high to kill her instantly, but not too low to let her recover.
Oh no, I won't be able to avoid it in time
Mercer then shifts his form in mid-air, pulling his right arm back as he raises his other arm.
His Hammerfist Elbow Drop was just a feint
He slams his left fist into the ground, only a few feet away from Bambi, creating a shockwave that nearly knocked her off her feet.
"CHECKMATE"
Not giving her time to recover, he immediately dashes right in front of her and delivers a right hammerfist straight into her chest.
Bambi attempts to mitigate the damage with her blut vene, but the force of his punch was too much for her to handle. She was sent flying straight into a wall, coughing up blood on impact.
Her medallion shattered into pieces, causing the armor to disperse into a large reishi before gathering in a one huge swirl, dissipating to the sky.
Bambietta was dazed from the force of the impact.
What just happened?
Blood was trickling from her mouth
Have I lost?
Pain suddenly flared back and forth from her chest
How could this happen
She then lifted her head up, now looking at the the man who did her a crushing defeat.
No, please, no, I don't want to die...
Mercer then lifted her by her tattered shirt and pinned her to the wall.
"You really gave me a hard time trying to deal with your bullshit alone, how much more if you were with your little possé"
He then transformed his right into his claws, preparing to stab her torso
"You'll make a fine addition to my army"
Bambi couldn't do anything to resist. She was too injured to do anything.
Please... someone save me...

From out of nowhere, a beam of fire suddenly pierces through Mercer's right arm, severing it and forcing him to drop Bambi to the ground. Infuriated, he turns to see where the shot came from
A man in a red Mohawk with two earrings in his left ear, now radiating red wings and with one of his fingers smoking hot. It was Bazz-B. He just made it in time.
"Burner Finger 1"
He shot multiple beams of fire in rapid succession, forcing Mercer to back away from Bambietta
Bazz-B then approached his injured comrade
"You're late... Bazz-B... What took you so long" Bambi complained at how he arrived much later
"Sorry, your friend Liltotto was begging for me in tears. Jeez, you did pretty well holding on your own against that monster" Bazz-B quickly apologized, while taking note if how she was badly beaten up
"That shit took me everything I had and he still standing without breaking a sweat, not like he sweats anyway. He also smashed my medallion in pieces."
"Well it can't be helped. That guy sure is as powerful as those with a War Potential. Giselle is right behind me, go get patched up immediately"
Bambi immediately followed Bazz-B's instructions and retreats from the battlefield. Bazz-B then turned to Mercer, who had quickly regenerated his arm
"Sorry for the wait, lets get this over with"
"I thought you turned chicken when you shot at me the first time. If you think you can beat me by yourself then bring it"
"Ha, you really think I'll be fighting by myself here?"
Surrounding Mercer were Meninas from his left, and Liltotto from the right. All three of them had activated their respective Völlstandig.
"This isn't a battle. This is an extermination"
Rather then taking a step back, Mercer extends both of his claws as he made a sinister smile in his face
"Three's fine by me, BRING IT"
