Chapter 9 - SOUL AWAKENING (2)

"Now, it's time for you all to join him in hell," Damian declared, a hellish, creepy smile spreading across his face. "i'm coming for you."

Damian's white and red eyes blazed with an intense glow, a wide, horrific smile plastered on his face. "So, they underestimated me to the point of leaving only a single person to guard me, eh?" he cackled, the sound echoing through the room like a madman's laughter. "They just made a mistake so costly, it will cost them their lives!"

Saying that, Damian closed his eyes. When he reopened them, he was already outside the underground base, hovering ominously over the entire village.

His white and red eyes turned into sinister slits as he surveyed the scene below. The villagers were bustling about, packing their belongings and preparing to move.

"Good, so you were planning on escaping after capturing me. Well... this just makes me want to kill you even more," he hissed, his voice dripping with malice.

"Now, let's have some fun, shall we?" Damian's smile twisted into something truly evil, a promise of the chaos and destruction to come.

Damian's sinister smile widened as he descended slowly, his presence casting a dark shadow over the village. The villagers, oblivious to the impending doom, continued their preparations, unaware of the malevolent force hovering above them.

With a flick of his wrist, Damian summoned a swirling vortex of energy, the red and white lights intertwining in a chaotic dance. The air crackled with power, and a palpable sense of dread began to spread through the village.

"Let's start with a little chaos," Damian muttered, his voice barely a whisper but filled with dark intent.

He unleashed the vortex, sending it spiraling down into the heart of the village. The ground shook violently as the energy exploded, sending villagers and their belongings flying in all directions. Screams of terror filled the air, a symphony of fear that brought a twisted satisfaction to Damian's ears.

He watched with cold amusement as the villagers scrambled in panic, their futile attempts to escape only adding to the chaos. "Run all you want," he sneered, "but there's no escaping your fate."

Damian raised his hands, and the chains that once bound him materialized in the air, now under his control. They snaked through the village like serpents, wrapping around buildings and villagers alike, crushing everything in their path.

"Feel the despair I once felt," Damian declared, his voice booming over the chaos. "This is your reckoning."

As the village descended into ruin, Damian's eyes locked onto the largest building in the center—the village chief's residence. With a determined stride, he made his way towards it, the chains clearing a path of destruction before him.

The doors burst open with a mere gesture from Damian, revealing the village chief and his daughter Camila.

"My dear traveler, what brings you here?" the village chief asked, attempting to steer the conversation away from the real issue.

"Cut the act, old man. You're the one who poisoned me, and now you'll pay for all the torture I've endured," Damian said angrily.

The village chief sighed, "I was hoping we could resolve this matter like reasonable adults, but it seems you've left me no choice."

"Camila, my dear, handle this matter," the village chief instructed.

"Yes, Father, as you wish," Camila replied, her voice almost mechanical.

Camila stepped forward, her posture upright and resolute, ready to fulfill her father's wishes even if it cost her life.

But before she could react, Damian was already in front of her, moving with lightning speed.

With a swift, brutal punch, his hand pierced her gut. "I like your eyes," Damian said, his voice cold and mocking. "The eyes of someone who would do anything for the one they love. Unfortunately, you chose the wrong person to protect." Camila gasped, blood spilling from her mouth as she struggled to stay on her feet.

Damian twisted his hand, causing Camila to cry out in pain. "You have spirit, I'll give you that," he continued, his tone almost admiring. "But spirit alone won't save you."

With a savage yank, Damian withdrew his hand, now soaked with her blood. "I like you, which is why I'm giving you a quick death," he said, his eyes devoid of warmth.

"Consider it a mercy."

Camila's legs gave out, and she collapsed to the ground, her life slipping away. Damian watched her fall, his expression unchanging. "You fought well," he murmured, almost to himself. "But this is where it ends."

Damian turned his head back to face the village chief, only to see the chief himself lunging at him, two pointed fingers aimed directly at his eyes. Knowing he wouldn't be able to react in time to dodge, he instinctively raised his arm to block the attack.

The chief's fingers struck Damian's forearm with a force that sent a shockwave through his body, but it was enough to protect his eyes. Damian gritted his teeth, feeling the sting of the impact. He quickly retaliated, grabbing the chief's wrist and twisting it with a swift, brutal motion.

The village chief cried out in pain as Damian's grip tightened. With a fierce yank, Damian pulled the chief forward, using the momentum to deliver a powerful knee strike to his midsection. The chief doubled over, gasping for breath.

"Nice try," Damian growled, his voice dripping with menace. "But you'll need more than that to take me down."

He released the chief, who crumpled to the ground, clutching his stomach. Damian's eyes locked onto him, who now lay on the ground, fear etched across his face.

"Your tricks won't save you," Damian said, his tone cold and unforgiving. "Now, it's your turn to face the consequences."

With a determined stride, Damian advanced towards the village chief, his resolve unshaken.

"Hahahahaha!" The village chief's laughter echoed through the room, wild and unhinged. "Kill me all you want, but once they find out what you did to me and Camila, your days are numbered!"

His eyes gleamed with madness as he continued, "You hear me? Your days are numbered!" The crazed expression on his face twisted into a grotesque grin, his voice filled with manic glee.

"Silence!" Damian commanded coldly, his grip tightening around the village chief's neck. "Before I finish you off, I intend to have my fun." The chief's eyes widened in terror as he struggled for breath.

Later on, the once peaceful village was filled with the chilling echoes of horrific screams emanating from the chief's home. The villagers could only imagine the unspeakable tortures taking place inside, as the chief's agonized cries mingled with their own.

After his twisted amusement with the village chief, Damian emerged from the chief's home, a sadistic smile etched on his face. The chief's lifeless body lay sprawled on the ground, riddled with injuries, his face frozen in a mask of terror. It was clear that the chief had met a gruesome end, tortured until his final breath.

Damian surveyed the once peaceful village, now engulfed in flames. The screams of the villagers had long since faded, unable to withstand the soul-crushing torment. The sight of the destruction he had wrought brought a dark satisfaction to his eyes.

"Seems like it's time to say my goodbye," Damian muttered, vanishing and reappearing at the village's edge.

He raised his hands, summoning a massive swell of energy, a swirling mix of white and red. The energy ball grew larger, expanding until it was the size of a truck. With a sinister grin, Damian pointed his fingers at the village. "Goodbye, it was nice knowing you."

The energy ball shot forward, obliterating the village in a cataclysmic explosion. Even the mountains behind the village were vaporized by its immense power.

Damian's smile widened as he watched the devastation, but suddenly, blood began to pour from his pores. "Oops," he chuckled darkly. "Looks like this body has finally reached its limit."

He glanced at the destruction one last time. "You better get stronger fast, other me, so that we can play more in the future," he said, a genuine smile spreading across his face.
