Ahneeka dizzied as she awoke, remnants of the other night roaming freely through her brains.
She felt cold and reached out her hands to grab a blanket and discovered there wasn't something as that in the room she was.
The bed felt different and this prompted her to check her surroundings.
The room she had felt herself pass out in was cozy and there were controllers that regulated the amount of cold and heat in the room, but this one felt different. Likewise the bed she found out to be a tiny piece.
Scanning the congested walls of the room, she needed no telling that this was a maidservant's corner, only difference was that it was a bit bugger than her father's.
Her luggages were by the side of the room which explained things more to her. This was her place, her position in the hierarchy of things at Lawrence's home, seen as more or less of a maid, if she was even seen worthy of such high honor.
