Chapter 7 - End Of The Great War

**Chapter Containing 2.470 Words**

**Welcome Back, Readers.**

There are a few announcements I need to share with all of you:

1. The story about the timeline of the Great War between the three factions will only last for a few chapters. This might be the last chapter of that war story.

2. I think you all know that in the anime *High School DXD*, the main storyline mostly takes place after the Great War of the three factions and the civil war among the devils.

3. In the next part of the story, after Lucelia ends the Great War, she will travel to other universes, especially those in anime with storylines involving gods and goddesses.

4. I have one anime in mind, namely *(Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka/Danmachi)*.

5. If any of you reading my story are interested in its continuation, you can comment on which anime world would be good for the next part of the story.

6. Lastly, even though Lucelia will be traveling to other universes, she will return to the DXD universe to see what interesting things might have happened during her absence. Specifically, she'll see if the main storyline of the DXD anime, featuring the main character Hyoudou Issei, will unfold as it should or not.

**Alright, that's all for the announcements. Enjoy your reading, everyone!**

**Location of the Great War**

---

*Lucelia Deus* stood above the sky of eternal darkness. Below her feet, a chasm of emptiness stretched infinitely, like a dense ocean waiting to devour. Her eyes were darker than the stars she had created, beyond the dimensions known only to her.

With every breath she took, the entire DXD universe trembled. Her mere presence could shatter the boundaries of reality. But now, something greater than mere existence was happening. *Lucelia Deus*, the Chaos, had decided to end the Great War of the Three Factions, as she felt it was time to bring everything to an end.

*The Devils*, the Fallen Angels, creatures that challenged the power of their creator (the Biblical God) with their ambition and cruelty.

"Demiurge," she called out, her voice echoing through dimensions and time. From the void, a crack appeared, and a being emerged—a shadowy figure with the appearance of a constantly shifting angel, eyes glowing like dying stars. Demiurge, her faithful assistant, hovered before his master, his head slightly bowed.

"Your will, O Eternal One?" Demiurge asked in a low, reverent tone.

"I'm tired, disgusted with this war, with the destruction, their foolishness, especially the devils and Fallen Angels, who greedily seek power from their creator, and the two lizards (dragon emperors) who continue to compete over who is the strongest among them, destroying everything around them in the process," said Lucelia. "The time has come for a purge. We will begin a war without mercy, and we will erase them, sparing only a few of their existence. The devils, the fallen angels, and the two dragon emperors (Ddraig & Albion) will be no more. I especially want to see if they will become a Sacred Gear."

Demiurge smiled faintly, then nodded. "Your command will be carried out. I have gathered all the data, all the knowledge about their pathetic powers. They won't be able to hide from us, and their descendants will always remember your name, my lord."

The sky above them began to change color, from pitch black to blood red, as if the universe itself wept for what was about to happen. Lucelia raised her hand, and from it emerged the fire of pure chaos—a fire that not only burned but erased everything it touched from existence. All creatures, whether human, devil, angel, fallen angel, dragons, gods and goddesses of every pantheon, especially the two dragons within the dimensional gap, and even the Beast of Apocalypse 666 (Trihexa), sealed by the Biblical God far from the universe, felt this power, causing it to roar in fear as it desperately tried to break the seal placed by the Biblical God, terrified by the pure power.

"With this, I begin my war," Lucelia said calmly, but the power in her voice was enough to shatter galaxies. The fire in her hand blazed brighter, piercing through space and time, reaching every corner of the universe where her enemies hid.

**Location of the Great War**

Demons, the two Dragon Emperors, and the fallen angels who once were heavenly warriors now felt a presence they knew well, and a long-forgotten fear began to creep back into their hearts.

Yet, no one was prepared for the power that would soon strike them.

"Starting from Hell, where the demons reign," Lucelia said, giving her final command. "Destroy everything."

With a single wave of her hand, the fire was unleashed, shooting through the darkness towards Hell itself. In an instant, the realm trembled, screams of fear and pain began to echo as the demons realized their end had come.

Lucelia watched expressionlessly, her eyes gleaming with power as she observed how her creation purged the universe of the filth that had lingered too long.

"This is just the beginning," she whispered, as the pure chaos that was her essence spread, ready to destroy anyone who dared oppose Her Will.

---

The chaos fire unleashed by *Lucelia Deus* spread at an unimaginable speed, penetrating every crack of dimensions and realms inhabited by demons, fallen angels, Dragon Emperors, and even the heavenly kingdom. As this immense power touched the world, both demons and fallen angels realized that their existence was nearing its end.

---

Amidst the blazing Hell, *Lucifer*, the Demon King and leader of the Demons, sensed something more terrifying than the flames surrounding him. The chaos fire sent by Lucelia Deus penetrated the entirety of Hell, destroying all the defenses he and the Seven Deadly Sins had built over thousands of years. Demons not involved in the War, especially lower-level demons attempting to escape, were instantly erased from existence as the fire touched them.

Lucifer immediately ordered all his surviving forces to gather, though there were only a few due to the previous power of the being (Lucelia). But there was no help left. At that moment, Lucelia's voice echoed in his ears, like a whisper flowing through the hot air.

"You think that Hell is the strongest place in the universe. But that is just an illusion you have created yourself," Lucelia said calmly, yet with undeniable power.

Despite being the Demon King and the former first Archangel created by the Biblical God, Lucifer felt fear pierce his soul. Before he could react, the chaos fire consumed him. In seconds, Hell was obliterated, and all its inhabitants were erased from existence, leaving only a few severely wounded demons, traumatized by fear, left alive to always remember the true reality they faced, and would be remembered even in the future by all their descendants. Nothing remained but emptiness, darker than the darkness of Hell itself.

---

At the edge of the location, the two Dragon Emperors, *Draig* and *Albion*, who ruled with powers that shook the surrounding dimensions, felt Lucelia's power approaching. The two Dragon Emperors, masters of the arts of war and destruction, sensed this threat with sharp instinct.

"Draig, this is not an ordinary threat," Albion said, his voice hoarse yet full of caution. "This... is a power we cannot fight."

"We are Dragon Emperors, the supreme rulers of this realm!" Draig responded, though there was doubt in his voice. "If this is the end, then we will face it with heads held high."

They looked at each other, nodding slightly as if understanding one another, meaning they would delay their battle and unite their powers to confront the being (Lucelia).

However, they both knew that this was not a battle they could win. Lucelia did not need to be there physically; the chaos fire she unleashed struck them with an unstoppable force. Before they could even roar in resistance, the fire had erased them from existence, removing all traces of their power and presence, leaving only their souls drifting, unsure of their future, whether they would become Sacred Gear or not. But even if they became Sacred Gear, their souls would always remember this event, especially their tragic and terrifying deaths, shaking their souls while they still had their perfect physical forms as Dragon Emperors.

---

In the shattered sky, the fallen angels who once were heavenly warriors but were cursed for their rebellion gathered at their last fortress. *Azazel*, their leader, looked towards the blood-red sky.

"This is the day we have long feared," he murmured. "The day when a power greater than our own Creator God (Father) descends to judge us."

His voice was full of resignation, knowing there was no place to run or hide. The fallen angels tried to form a final line of defense, hoping to provide a last stand. However, before they could act, Lucelia's chaos fire split the sky, descending with terrifying power.

Azazel felt the fire approaching, and for the first time in eons, he felt truly powerless and regretful for accepting the proposal to ally with the demons against Lucelia. One by one, the fallen angels were swept away by the power, their bodies disintegrating into fine particles that instantly vanished.

"The end has come," Azazel whispered as the fire finally consumed him, and the entire fortress of the fallen angels was destroyed, leaving the sky devoid of any remnants.

---

As the chaos fire ravaged heaven, the holy angels immediately felt the vibrations threatening their entire existence. Michael and several of the archangel leaders wiped their tears, gathered all their strength to control their trembling bodies, assembling their forces at the gates of heaven while continuously tending to their severely injured father (the Biblical God), whose condition was dire every second. Unlike the others, Michael and the holy angels understood that the approaching power was not something to be fought against.

"We will not raise arms against this force," Michael said firmly. "This is not our war. We must submit to its will."

While most of the holy angels had pale faces, their souls trembling with the power, some archangels suppressed their fear, even though it could kill them in the blink of an eye, and still wished to fight, especially while their leader/father (the Biblical God) was severely wounded. However, before they could act, Lucelia Deus appeared before them, her aura surpassing anything they had ever felt, making all the angels, whether holy or archangels, sense their impending doom.

"Will you choose to fight or acknowledge that this is the end of a war you never wanted?" Lucelia asked, her voice calm yet filled with undeniable power.

Michael bowed his head, trembling and sweating coldly, but spoke respectfully. "We will not fight you, Eternal One (Lucelia). We only wish to protect our realm and heal our father (the Biblical God), so we can return to the heavenly realm created by our father (the Biblical God)."

Lucelia observed them for a moment, then raised her hand. The chaos fire halted at the very edge of heaven, as if honoring the decision of the holy angels. However, even though the fire stopped at the edge of heaven, the realm still felt its power, causing heaven to tremble as if the chaos fire, even if only a little, could utterly destroy the entire heavenly realm on all levels.

"I will spare your lives because you chose not to challenge me," Lucelia said. "You are wise to understand that opposing me would mean the extinction of your entire race and the destruction of the heavenly system, especially the abode of the humans who worship your father (the Biblical God). I will grant you a small reward for your wisdom."

Lucelia glanced at the Biblical God lying weakly, even ordinary humans knew that he (the Biblical God) could die at any moment. Lucelia extended her hand towards the Biblical God while the holy and archangels, especially Michael, were tense about what Lucelia would do to their father (the Biblical God). Even if they tried to stop Lucelia, it would mean their own death.

Lucelia used a bit of her power to begin healing the vitality of the Biblical God, making some of his wounds and the corrosive darkness within him disappear, restoring him to his former state when he was at his peak power, even when he had declined from his peak strength after burning a significant portion of his essence to seal the Apocalypse Beast 666 (Trihexa) and prevent the destruction of their universe.

After Lucelia healed the Biblical God, the holy angels were astonished, and even the archangels began to cry, relieved and rushing to their father (the Biblical God) while continuously offering heartfelt thanks to Lucelia. The angels, especially the archangels, vowed to continue safeguarding the universe by maintaining its balance. With that, Lucelia vanished, leaving heaven intact, while destruction occurred around it. The holy angels sighed with relief, grateful that Lucelia was not as they had feared, realizing that they had been saved from total destruction by the unexpected mercy of the entity.

---

With the demons, fallen angels, and the two dragon emperors gone, Lucelia Deus stood amidst the destruction she had wrought. The universe, once filled with the sounds of battle, was now silent, leaving only emptiness and a cold calm. Lucelia surveyed the universe she had cleansed of the forces that opposed her.

"With this, the great war of the three factions has ended," she said, her voice resonating through the remnants of the reality she had created. "And the universe has returned to pure emptiness."

Demiurge appeared beside her, observing his master's work with admiration. "What will you do now, Eternal One?"

---

Lucelia closed her eyes for a moment, sensing the flow of time and space calming once again. "I will allow this universe to heal itself. Let some demons remain, spare a few fallen angels, and leave out the two dragon emperors. I will begin to consider what kind of universe I will create while waiting to see if this universe will unfold as expected, whether the demons will engage in fraternal wars as depicted in human works, and the emergence of the main character of High School DXD itself. I look forward to seeing what it might bring, because if it does not interest me… I will destroy and annihilate all demons, fallen angels, and humans, even if such actions will be strongly opposed by the leader of the holy angels (the Biblical God). Yes, whatever it is, no one can challenge my decision."

With that, Lucelia Deus, the Eternal Chaos, vanished into the void, leaving a universe now free from the great war. Yet, her presence would always be felt, as an entity maintaining balance within chaos, an unseen creator, and an unstoppable destroyer.
