Quinn Tai saw that the person approaching was a student, even younger than him, and waved him off impatiently, "Get lost! Go play somewhere else!"
Logan didn't get angry and said, "I enjoy collecting different coins, and I'm interested in the one you have. Would you consider selling it to me?"
As soon as he said this, murmurs spread through the surrounding crowd.
"Is this kid crazy? He wants to buy a coin that's obviously a fake?"
"Isn't he a student? Does he even have that kind of money?"
Zach was also taken aback, unsure why Logan wanted to buy something that was clearly fake.
He knew Logan was wealthy.
$10000—that was what he would earn in three years working as city management without spending a cent.
It would be so much better if Logan gave him the money instead of buying this worthless scrap!
A flash of jealousy and resentment passed through Zach's eyes as he stood behind Logan.
Why was Logan's life so much better than his, when they were the same age?!
Quinn Tai's eyes lit up when he heard that Logan was willing to take the coin off his hands. He immediately handed the coin to Logan.
It was a coin that looked like it was made of some metal, with a gold ingot engraved on one side and strange characters and symbols on the other.
Many people gathered around to take a look, then shook their heads and backed away.
Most of the people at the antique market were regulars, hoping to find hidden treasures. They had a decent eye for these things.
The "ancient coin" looked too new, with patterns that didn't resemble any known currency from any dynasty. It looked more like a token from a children's arcade game.
The crowd looked at Logan as if he were a fool with too much money to burn.
An old man kindly warned him, "Young man, be careful when buying these things."
Logan felt the warmth emanating from the cornucopia in his backpack, confirming that this was indeed the item he was looking for.
Whether the coin was valuable or not didn't matter; if it could activate a storage space, it was priceless to Logan.
Casually, Logan asked, "How much are you willing to sell it for?"
Quinn Tai's eyes darted around as he assessed Logan's attire and replied, "$15000, and it's yours."
He had just been demanding a refund, but now that Logan was interested, the price shot up. The crowd immediately cast disdainful glances his way.
"Five thousand," Logan countered.
Quinn Tai snatched the coin back and shouted, "I paid ten thousand for this! What are you thinking?!"
Logan smiled and turned to leave.
He counted to three in his mind. This guy would definitely call him back.
Sure enough, he had barely taken two steps when someone stopped him. But it wasn't Quinn Tai—it was the old man running the stall:
"Young man, if you're looking for that kind of coin, I have another one. I'll sell it to you for eight thousand!"
Logan quickly turned around. "You have another one?!"
The old man, his hands trembling, pulled out a cloth bundle from his chest and carefully took out another coin, handing it to Logan with hope in his eyes.
He was in desperate need of money—his son was sick with leukemia. Otherwise, he would never have sold his family heirlooms.
His ancestors had warned him never to let these two coins be lost, but if he didn't sell them, his bloodline would end with him.
Logan took the coin, lowering his gaze to hide his shock and delight. It was identical to the first.
The cornucopia reacted as well.
To his surprise, there wasn't just one of these special coins—there were two!
"Sir, do you have any more of these coins?" Logan asked.
"Only these two, passed down through my family. If I didn't need the money so badly, I would never sell them." The old man sighed.
This answer was expected; such special coins were unlikely to exist in large numbers.
The coin in Quinn Tai's hand was the one he hadn't found in his previous life.
"Alright, I'll take this one." Logan nodded at the old man and quickly transferred the money using his phone.
Seeing that Logan had paid so readily, Quinn Tai scrutinized the coin in his hand more closely. Could there be something special about this coin?
The old man, having sold his coin, happily began packing up his stall, ready to leave. Logan noticed the look on Quinn Tai's face and knew he was getting suspicious.
Logan was determined to obtain the second coin.
But from their earlier exchange, he had realized that Quinn Tai was greedy. If he noticed something unusual, he would undoubtedly raise the price or even refuse to sell.
So after transferring the money to the old man, Logan turned and walked away, as if he had no interest in the coin Quinn Tai held.
This left Quinn Tai, who was waiting for Logan to show some sign of interest, feeling flustered.
In the end, he chose to trust his instincts, quickly stopping Logan.
"Hey, man, why don't you take this one too?" Quinn Tai offered.
Logan replied dismissively, "Now that I have one, the one you're holding doesn't mean much to me."
Quinn Tai glanced at the old man, who was already leaving, and decided not to pester him.
He knew the chances of getting a refund were slim—after all, the rules of the antique trade were clear. He had only tried to renege on the deal because he was young and thought he could get away with it.
Desperately, he said, "I'll sell it to you for ten thousand. That's what I paid for it—I won't make a profit, okay?"
Logan gave him a cold look and said, "Five thousand."
After some haggling, Logan finally purchased the second coin from Quinn Tai for $8000.
As Logan looked at the two coins in his palm, a faint smile appeared on his lips. If he hadn't come today, he would have missed out on this coin.
He couldn't wait to see what changes the cornucopia would undergo this time.
After dismissing Zach, who was green with envy, Logan hurried home.
Zach would have to be dealt with sooner or later, but not now.
Once home, Logan locked the door behind him and went into a windowless storage room, locking that door as well.
The process of activating the cornucopia was not quiet, and he couldn't let anyone discover anything unusual.
Taking out the cornucopia, Logan placed one of the coins inside.
The cornucopia floated up and suddenly emitted a dazzling light.
The grime and patina on its surface peeled away, revealing its true form.
Then it turned into a golden light and flew into Logan's forehead.
A flash of light passed before Logan's eyes, revealing an interface similar to that of a video game.

(Space unit: meters)
The space had appeared!
In his previous life, when he had activated the cornucopia, a similar digitized interface had appeared.
At the time, Logan hadn't figured out much about it, and he didn't plan to waste time analyzing it now.
If it existed, there must be a reason.
With the space unlocked, Logan clenched his fists, unable to hide the joy on his face.
The space was roughly the size of a small room, and aside from living things, anything that could fit inside could be stored or retrieved with a thought.
Time was suspended within the space, preserving items in the state they were in when placed inside.
Most importantly, the space could be upgraded using gold, silver, and jewels.
In his previous life, Logan had tried upgrading the space with gold and silver.
Unfortunately, by the eighth year of the apocalypse, such items were buried deep beneath the snow, and he hadn't managed to complete even the first upgrade.
Would the cornucopia undergo some other change with this second coin in this life?
Logan picked up the second coin and placed it against his forehead.
Immediately, he felt a warmth spread across his forehead, and the coin vanished from his hand.
The interface before his eyes glitched momentarily, becoming blurry.
A moment later, the interface cleared, revealing a significant change.
